Dave is the BEST!! I came in clueless as all hell, and this man helped me find everything I needed AND helped me put the parts where they belong in my car!! He was extremely kind and very informative!! He is a 100/10 employee!!

Came by late at night after experiencing some car issues to get a brief second opinion. Despite not being able to do anything about the main issue, Dave helped me with several other issues I hadn’t been able to do myself without me even having to ask. He is an all around outstanding man and I am so grateful for his time! He was so sweet and so polite! Thank you for all your help and recommendations Dave :) I will most definitely be back!

Closes at 8:50, not 9:00. I needed one part to finish a job, instead I guess I can drive to Lakewood and visit O'Reilly's.

Came by for windshield wipers and had a wonderful experience. Specifically came for Dave because the reviews raved about him and they were right! He helped me pick out my wipers and taught me how to install them myself. Felt like having a dad teach me about my car. Highly recommend.

I went to AutoZone today and honestly I don’t know anything about cars, and luckily Amanda was there and helped me with everything I needed. She explained everything and was very patient with me.

Your employee David B was wonderful tonight. He greeted me, was very curious and knowledgeable.
I need antifreeze, oil, headlights and windshield wipers and he helped me with getting everything and he even put my new windshield wipers on!!!!!

I just had my windshield wipers replaced. Jesse did an excellent job, quick and thorough. I will definitely go back to AutoZone when I need service. All of the employees were helpful and cordial.

I just want to say thank you to everyone that always helps me out when I come to AutoZone. They've always been so kind and understanding and help you out the best way they can ! I would recommend coming here. If you ever have any issues with your car, they can definitely give you the best advice and even that they can help you install something as well depending on what it is! So I do want to give a big thanks to AutoZone especially at this store. I really appreciate it. Y'all don't understand there's not a lot of places that will go beyond for you but they do that!!! Stopped here today and the service is STELLAR. This is our second time where they've come to our rescue and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Just tried another "competitor" just before here and the dude was 'yeah I have no idea, but feel free to look around'... there was no one else in the shop and he could have helped. That is not the case at Auto Zone. They always help and answer questions. Y'all made our day. Thank you!

Dave at 6th Ave AutoZone went above and beyond to help me. He helped me find the correct sealant for my valve cover gasket repair and took the extra time to make sure I left with everything I needed. Knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely helpful—he made my visit quick and stress-free. Highly recommend this location!

I came in a few minutes before closing to try to purchase a new headlight. I was in over my head, and Dave helped me out by finding the bulb I needed, and going out to my car to check to confirm I was getting the right product. While checking, he also noticed that my battery was corroded, and helped clean it, as well as told me that I needed to clear all the leaves out from under the hood, and he helped me out. He was warm, funny and helpful, and even stayed late to give me a hand. Whatever y'all are paying him, it is not enough!

Went in to buy a steering wheel cover and I asked a lady behind the counter if she thought it would fit. Not only did she measure my steering wheel but she also advised me how to install the universal cover!

I came in for an alternator and was helped by a man named dave. He was very helpful in finding the part and after i misunderstood the price + the core did not come with enough funds for the transaction, he was very patient and was willing to help in any way to remedy the situation, but after a quick phone call i had some additional funds added and good to go..in todays world people like dave are very few and far between, so i just wanted to take a sec and thank him for his helpful service and great attitude..and to managment or if he was the manager the even higher ups, he is an asset and deserves a raise!!!! THANK YOU again Dave!!!!

I am not a car guy. I know nothing about fixing or troubleshooting car problems. I came to this AutoZone with a vague hope that someone could guide me as to what I should do. Not one but two staff people ended up, assisting me in diagnosing my problem and explaining to me how to fix it. They had the part I needed, and I left feeling as if I was empowered to fix it myself. It was the best possible outcome I could have imagined.

David B was AMAZING!!! I called to see if they had my specific headlights and break lights since I had a few out. “I’m just a girl lol” David welcomed me immediately took a look at my car replaced my headlights and break lights . He was patient and kind and Great conversation PLUS he taught me a few things so I’m safe on the road. Because I had a crap ton of leaves on my engine and I had no idea that could start a fire!!! I now will be checking my engine more regularly and I now learned how easy I can change my headlights when they go out. David B made my experience a 20/10. I hope y’all pay him top dollar cause he knows what he is doing and quick and a rockstar. I will be recommending ALL friends, family and even strangers over to this location to work with David.

Total hassle experience with these guys, they aren't very customer service oriented, and weren't very helpful.
I was working on my grandma's vehicle and we bought a set of spark plugs and an ignition coil for a mazda b2200, they explained that the part was at a hub (which is a very regular thing and I totally understand) so i asked them to order it in the store for me, they told me I would have to pay first so they could have it delivered; fair enough, so we pay cash
Then the wait began, when the part arrived I never recieved a call from an associate, so after about 3 days I went to the store to check if they had it, and the employees just got flustered and fumbled around before they told me straight up they didnt have it. Then I had a feeling, so about an hour later at shift change I called them for the hell of it, and they said the part had actually been delivered that day.
So i go back to the store again, they give me the part, that is great..but the only problem is when i got to my grandmas to put the part in, i noticed the box was all beat up and taped together, and the ignition coil had a giant dent in the side, major safety hazard.. thing could have exploded, when i called them again i asked for the manager and they refused, and so i went to return it and they had nothing to say.
They basically explained that sometimes Autozone sells returned parts, so they probably literally gave me some defective garbo that came out of somebodies whip
And when i had to charge the battery, it was a huge hassle because none of them knew if the battery was even charged or not, it was anyones guess.. I had to wait until their machine could tell them, which is apparently a 15 minute process, then I asked if he could grab it after waiting in the parking lot and he says "No, I can't grab it now because my manager is in the bathroom." pretty wild.
I went to the Oreillys on the same street and called, they ordered my part for me, had it in a 9 am the next day, i went in, they sold me the part.. it was a brand new ignition coil, no hassle.
So if you want to turn a 20 minute job into a week long process, then this is the store for you.Sep 06, 2025 -

David was the cutest ever! He helped my boyfriend and I find everything we need to change our cars oil. He sold us on the brand of oil filter we need for our cars. They have drain plugs with rubber washers which is great because the plastic ones like to melt and cause leaks. We both agree autozone is where we’ll be heading for future auto part endeavors. P.S. they give student discounts. ;)

Super good customer service. Car was dead a few blocks down, right across from oriellys that wouldn’t help. Maxwell lent me his personal portable charger to jump the battery and then thoroughly replaced it with a new one, checked all the connections and alternator and starters. Very thankful for the bail out and complete service today

I recently moved to Tacoma and needed new windshield wipers. When I arrived, the manager, David, greeted me and provided exceptional service. I had some difficulty removing my old windshield wipers, but David stepped in and helped me with care. I highly recommend this place!

David B. was so helpful! My car was leaking oil and since it’s Memorial Day weekend I wasn’t able to get an appointment anywhere. Dave gave me the number to his mobile mechanic who came out this morning and fixed the issue. He went above and beyond to help me out. He’s also got the coolest 1969 mercury cougar he’s working on and showed me pictures of it. Great guy. Thank you Dave!

I always get a bit embarrassed because I don’t know much about cars, but I had such a great experience! The last time I’ve gone to a auto shop I felt judged because of the knowledge I lacked in cars. Jesse made sure to explain everything in detail in a way that I could understand. He was super quick, nice, and efficient! I definitely recommend this location.

Hana B. Was so helpful and amazing, she went above and beyond for me and found a air intake hose I desperately needed. At first she said it wasn't available, but she looked past Z net searched it up on the website and found that there was one in the store. Her and the other employees looked around the back of the shop and found it. She got me the spark plugs i needed and the best ones at that, she was very knowledgeable of everything I asked, she helped me find the tool i needed, i had no idea what to look for. (My husband sent me in with a list) I am very grateful for her service in store and also in the military. This wonderful woman definitely deserves a raise or at least a full time position!

The Backbone of Working America - Went into Auto-zone shortly after being advised I needed a new battery from my VW Golf. Went I went in this gentleman (I believe his name was David) was professional, recommended a battery and even fitted it for me. Was extremely pleasant, time efficient and talked me how to change the battery. This fella deserves a raise. From what I understood he was working here as a second job! Salt of the earth! Thank you.
