I asked for a code read to see what code was being thrown for my check engine light and it’s $150 just to see the code

Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place? The owner is extremely rude pulled in to get air in a tire. He comes flying out, accusing us of being druggers and stealing stuff because I had a load of tools in a truck that I work for legitimate construction company, that’s been in business for over 10 years. He grilled us for five minutes straight and then told us to get off his property. Somebody that running a business should be a little bit more customer service instead of cussing and just assuming that we were there to steal from him .I wouldn’t let my worst enemy go to this company. There is now way that they are an honest company stay away from them!!!!

These people went out of their way to save my dad's truck, After Jiffy lube did a terrible job by putting the wrong oil in and a bad oil filter. Thank you so much. You saved our camping trip.

Went in to get replacement lug bolts from here and was treated like a jerk for not wanting to pay $250 for the most simple 10 minute repair. Charged $40 for a $5 wrench and sold us the wrong bolts and insisted they were correct. Went to a real auto repair shop in Eatonville and they confirmed he gave us the wrong parts. Don't come here even if you're desperate

Sounds like my experience was pretty similar to most other women who have been here. Whoever the guy is working here, he was extremely disrespectful, defensive, unprofessional and clearly sexist. Don’t work with people if you don’t known how to talk to people. I came in with a flat and without even looking at my tires he told me I needed 4 new ones. Wouldn’t even look if they were repairable. I stepped outside because he said he would come up with an estimate for me and when I walked back in he was talking to someone else and he said he had forgotten about me… I asked about any alternatives because my tires were recently changed, and I can’t exactly afford to drop another $900, and he went OFF on me about how I clearly don’t know what I’m talking about. I ended up just getting my car towed to a different shop and they were so much more friendly and helpful. They listened to me, quoted me for a few hundred less than this guy, and they finished working on my car in 15 minutes… took this guy like 30 to even give me a quote. 🤷♀️ Don’t go here.

Hi Tim/ Jim, I wait for you for 1.5 hours and I had to leave. I telephoned the number three times but no one pick up. so I went to the front desk staff asked for help. They helped me to connect my car to their car and my engine started to work. and when I return the cabin to leave some tips and going to leave, just at that moment, you came, in a hurry way and seem unhappy, and asked me why I didn’t call you and let you know. I have to tell you the whole thing, avoiding your misunderstanding,I tried to explain it in the phone, but I can’t communicate in English very well and your store staff said that’ OK. But I still want you know the whole thing. I don’t know whether you can read it here, but I have to tell.

Stoped in because my absent mindedness left the tow strap at home and was on a recovery mission.was on the shelf as well as I found out the gentleman behind the counter was willing to go up the mountain with his jeep and do the recovery for me if needed. For a few of course but the fee was well in reasonable price. I however had no issues with the recovery. Thank you for the offers

Had a fantastic experience with this establishment today. I called a couple days ahead to get an oil change and checkup while I was in town for the weekend. The owner, James, was personable, helpful, flexible and above all, honest in his assessment and recommendations for my truck. His prices, while not Walmart, were reasonable. He finished the job before I anticipated. Great communication. He recommended new tires soon and gave me all the reasons why and after a lengthy chat with him, I know he was correct about the tires. He saved my old filthy air filter to show me why he thought it needed changing. I will be back here for sure. Great guy, great service, great business! Thanks so much James.

I returned a purchase or a volt ohm meter made 15 minutes earlier with receipt, the man behind the counter told me “you are done, never come back here!” (After he reluctantly voided my purchase) I had asked for a simple meter which I was able to buy across the street at ACE hardware for $40.00 less than the $61.00 for the everything under the sun meter I purchased and returned.

Save your money, time and energy and do NOT go here! Go to Napa Auto Parts in Glenoma instead. The man behind the counter here could have cared less that I was in dire need of having someone to look at my brakes. He scoffed at me when I didn’t know what exactly was wrong with my brakes. He would ask a question and then type on his computer and sit there and stare at who the hell knows what for several minutes not saying anything. He then proceeded to tell me that “what I’m looking at is probably going to cost anywhere from $1,500 - $2,500” which makes no sense considering he hadn’t even looked at my brakes to even know what was wrong. He made it seem like I was inconveniencing him. He was also complaining about how he didn’t have enough room to get my car in and look at it to see what was wrong. The ONLY good thing he did was recommend checking out Napa Auto Parts in Glenoma - which I did and they are amazing. Ended up going there and they fixed my car up pretty dang fast and it cost way less than what he “quoted” me.

The man behind the counter was very rude to my husband and son but nice to the local that came in while they were there. Our money spends the same as the locals and if you are in the service industry you should be nice to everyone. Treat people the way you want to be treated local or not. I would recommend spending your money at the napa in Morton instead as after the fact we heard good things about that location.

The worst customer service experience ever! First he hung up on me due to being disinterested. Then my husband went in the store and was completely ignored after the man became disinterested in him as well. Will b driving 30 miles to Morton from now on where the customer service is amazing. I suggest you do the same.

we were part way through a 2 week road trip when we got an irreparable puncture on one of our tyres on our hire car. having managed to get to this place, we could not have received any better level of customer service! from carrying out an initial review and setting out all our options to helping us try and connect with breakdown recovery (international mobiles were restricted in contacting recovery line!) and in the end prioritising our tyre replacements so we could get back on the road as soon as possible - these guys were the absolute best. thank you once again for your help.

My daughter’s car had serious issues with a broken air hose boot and failing spark plugs causing the car to go into limp mode. James Beslow the owner found the problem and fixed it in two hours the day after Thanksgiving. My daughter was then safe to drive home to Klamath Falls six hours away. I highly recommend his services on a holiday weekend in this amazing little mountain town. Thank you so much James.

women stay away!! jim was very rude and dismissive when i first went in to talk to him. i was not once allowed to finish a sentence while speaking to him. after about 45 minutes of him listing off 20 different things that “could be” the problem before even looking at my vehicle, he decided that i should probably pay $800 for repairs that he doesn’t even know if i need. even tried to act like i was getting a deal? i’m a young woman traveling alone, and am used to mechanics trying to scam me. he clearly wanted to take advantage, and to truly validate all of my thoughts… he told me to have my dad call him when i questioned him. i must have not been competent enough for him? there had been no mention of my dad earlier in this conversation either. truly shocking. i asked some locals if there were any mechanics nearby, and he’s the only guy in town… yet they still told me to not go to him. would rather get towed to another town before i give him a penny. not shocked to see other women having the same experience.

AMAZING SERVICE!!!! I noticed that the treads in my tires were showing (i know, embarrassing, should have noticed a while ago?) But I was taken care of right away and everything was explained to me. They certainly did not have to take care of me today but because I couldn’t drive away they made me a priority. Major thank you to Jim and this Napa Auto Parts for taking care of me in such a helpful and timely fashion.

Very happy with the service we got here. We got a flat while driving down a road full of potholes. There was only one other shop nearby and they did not have the tire we needed. The Packwood Napa got me in first thing in the morning and got a new tire installed within 30 minutes of me walking in the door. The owner was kind and chatted with me while I waited. Some other reviewers mentioned that he refused to sell just one tire- but I did not have that experience. He was very willing to sell just one tire. He totally saved our trip!

On July 4th we were in Mt. Rainier park and the car started making a terrible noise. We had no idea what the problem was and had to drive a long way to get out of the park and find help. We pulled into the NAPA in Packwood and they said, "We heard you coming!" There was a small rock in the wheel. They said we'd have to wait 15 minutes and they'd fix it. They diagnosed the problem accurately right away and fixed it quickly. How lucky on a holiday to get such quick and good assistance! It was very affordable. Hat's off to NAPA in Packwood!!

Jim was fantastic. We were visiting Rainier and staying at the Packwood RV park. We had a wheel bearing give up on our way back from the mountain. I stopped in the next morning on the 4th of July and was surprised to see them open. Not only that but Jim had the bearing and was able to get me in right then and had it fixed in a couple hours. We were extremely grateful for the prompt service.

Went to Packwood on Memorial Saturday and locked my car key in the trunk! The nearest locksmith was 2 hours away. The sheriff took me over to Napa and I met Jim. I explained my dilemma and he closed shop and got his needed tools and came and unlocked my car!! I am so grateful he helped me. Very knowledgeable and a gentleman!

On our way to Mt. Rainier ran over a piece of metal or something and it punctured the rear driver side tire. Went to Packwood Napa and they said they couldn’t patch it and we would have to buy 4 new tires for $1200. Called Honda dealer and Les Schwab and verified we Did Not have to replace 4 tires. Drove to Yakima to Les Schwab. They replaced 1 tire which was under warranty and it was free. We saved $1200. What a scam!

Jim took great care of us! On our way up to Packwood I had a wheel bearing go out on my Suburban. Luckily, we made it safely, but I was worried that there would be no where to repair it in town and our ski trip would be done for. I called Napa and Jim said he had my hub in stock and would get it fixed for me that day. Within 3 hours I was back up and running. Prepare yourself for some good conversation and some stories from a real local! Thanks Jim

I had a brake light out and was concerned about driving until I could get it replaced. I stopped by Packwood Auto Parts to make an appointment, and James the owner was the person I spoke to. We talked for bit, then he walked out to the car to take a look. Before I knew it, he had replaced the brake light, and checked to make sure all the lights were working properly. James is great. He was courteous, friendly, and took care of my problem quickly without any hesitation. I was very thankful for what he did for me, and I can assure you that I will go him again if I have any problems with my car. Thank you James!

Jim was amazing! He came and got us after a popped tire and pretty much saved us. He fixed our tire in around an hour and charged us a fair price, especially considering another shop tried to charge us 1000$. He was kind and thorough. He admitted he wasn’t familiar with our Tesla and so we had to pull up the manual but he followed it to a T. I highly suggest him for any repairs you might need on your adventures.

Jim was absolutely wonderful! Driving through a forest service road, we hit a pothole. After 3 hours of waiting for my roadside assistance someone helped with my spare. Not even 10 minutes later the spare popped. My roadside assistance was incredibly unhelpful and rude. I went into Jim and he picked up my car and did everything he could to fix my spare, which he finally did. I'm extremely grateful for his dedication to helping me get back home to Eastern Washington.

After my experience here and reading the reviews afterward, I am convinced that Beslow’s/Napa Auto Parts exists to capitalize on people's misery. I hit a rock on highway 123 and got a flat tire, which apparently is very common according to Mt. Rainier National Park Rangers. While a first mechanic I spoke to assured me that he had a right size tire for my car and that I would be back on the road in 30 minutes, a man with grey mustache (probably a manager) contradicted the mechanic and offered me only one option – buy all four tires for $579 plus tax. His dishonesty was loud and clear when he claimed that there were no other tire shops nearby. Thanks to Google. I drove to Randall (16 miles away) on my spare tire and got a great service.

I was driving to Idaho this weekend and by the time I hit Packwood my front tire bearing went out. I stopped in here trying to get back on the road for my 7.5 hour drive Jim is the owner called around and found the part I needed and Mike started working on my car after lunch. These 2 guys saved the whole weekend!!! This is a great place! So glad they were here to help!

My brakes were completely out of the car I tow behind my camper. Jim Beslow helped me out and got them fixed on a busy Labor Day weekend. Yes, he tried to sell me new tires, but a lot of places do that. Their work was good. They are very expensive, but when you're on the road you don't have much choice.

Emergency stop in Packwood, hotter than the hinges of hades while driving by myself on my way to Walla Walla when a tire sensor light came on about 20 miles outside of "anything resembling" a service station. Thank heaven for Jim at NAPA. Drove in, told him what was happening - he told me they could check it out then and there and the fix would probably be about $40. I pulled it into the garage and watched as Mike tested and discovered a small leak by the sensor valve on the tire we thought was the issue. It was fixed, tested and I was on the road -in about an hour for the price he's quoted. Customer service was excellent - Jim and Mike were courteous (to a fault) kind, and humorous - especially important considering it was a trip that had the potential to be pretty stressful for me. If it hadn't been repaired correctly or by an unethical or less than professional business owner - it could have been an expensive nightmare for me. Would highly recommend them.

I really don't understand all the negative reviews here. Maybe I got lucky. I was on my way up to paradise at Mt. Rainer when my alternator went out. I was able to make it back to Packwood where I found this repair shop. Not only did Jim (the owner) have the alternator in stock, but he was able to install it within several hours. I was fully expecting a 2 or 3 day process to get the part ordered and to get the job done. Not only did Jim get my alternator repaired, he also took the time to diagnose and fix another problem that I had been having for several months that not even the diesel shops could fix. I'm a big fan. Don't let the negative reviews scare you off. This guy is the real deal.
