Dont waste your time. I went there today because i was traveling through and never stopped so why not. I looked around. And asked a kid worker who was playing on his phone if they had salsa. He pointed to the back and said yah somewhere over there. Then went back to playing on his phone. I didn’t but anything. Wasn’t impressed. Wont need to go here a second time. Stop in elenburg instead.

Cute antique store to stop at and stretch your legs off you are passing by it. A little overpriced, but there are a lot of antiques. On the first floor there is an ice cream shop and fruit stand. Bathrooms were out of order but they gas station in the same parking lot had nice and clean bathrooms.

We love the Thorpe Fruit & Antique mall normally, however today, we only stayed a few minutes. Hard to shop in frigid temperatures. Please turn on some heat!

Edit: Apparently the owner is not happy with my honest review of the apples I purchased. Too bad! I live on an island in the Puget Sound and returning to your “fruitstand “ with my proof of purchase is ridiculous and not a viable option. I understand that you purchase produce from other producers, but quality control is still your responsibility! We were told by your employee the apples were fresh and that is simply not accurate. If you are going to sell subpar fruit then don’t whine when you get called out for it! Original post: We bought a box of snowsweet apples yesterday 10/21/25. Absolutely disappointed because these mealy, mushy apples are certainly no where near fresh picked! We usually treat ourselves to fresh produce from this stand but I will be looking at better options in the future. Even the deer would take a pass on this box of crap! Washington is supposedly known for apples and this is the best you can do?? It’s a shame to sell apples of this poor quality!!!

Amazing fruit stand on the side of the freeway or so we thought. This place was so much more. Antiques and collectable galore. My youngest was in Hotwheels heaven when we went upstairs and he saw all cars. Such a cool discovery for our first stop on vacation. We will be back!

I LOVE this place!! I try to stop by everytime I pass by on the highway and it's never disappointing. I mostly like going upstairs to look at the antiques but the first floor is very impressive too and offers a lot of fresh fruits, vegetables, other foods, and candies. The salt water taffy is amazingly soft and there are plenty of flavors to choose from. I haven't tried anything from the cafe/ ice cream but I would really like to and I wouldn't doubt it's quality. The upstairs is my favorite and especially the second floor. I love the selection of records, CDs, and the cute beanie babies. I will say some of the items I think are personally overpriced and I could get somewhere for cheaper but overall I wouldn't say anything was super expensive. I found some unique dinosaur figures too and it made me happy!

I liked to go there specially on 2nd and 3rd floor a lot of collectibles (hot wheels, ceramics ,precious moments and a lot of item used a century ago) Will go again to go back in history to refresh memories of items that I remember in grand grand parents house or shed then in attic or souvenir)

If you find yourself near Ellensburg with a couple of hours to spare, spend them somewhere else! Once a cherished stop for antique enthusiasts, the Thorp Fruit and Antique Mall, just west of Ellensburg, has plummeted into a disheartening mess of modern kitsch and low-quality trinkets. What used to be a haven for unique, vintage finds has morphed into a cluttered bazaar of mass-produced junk. Half the booths are now stuffed with overpriced Pop! figurines, stacks of cheap stuffed animals fresh off last week's assembly line, and literally thousands of Hot Wheels cars — many available at Walmart or Target for a fraction of the price. There are endless boxes of mostly worthless modern comic books, T-shirts printed so recently the ink is practically still wet, display cases full of crappy, mass-produced pocket knives, a sea of western apparel, and shoddy steampunk-themed items fashioned earlier this week, presumably in China. The store’s standards have utterly collapsed, with booth after booth peddling new, low-value garbage that wouldn’t pass muster at a flea market. For a true antique experience, head to the Yakima Fruit and Antique Store instead. Though smaller, it maintains integrity, offering genuine vintage items without the onslaught of Hot Wheels, comic books, Pop! figurines, or other nonsense. Thorp’s fall from grace is a sad reminder of what happens when quality is abandoned for quantity. Save your time and skip this one.

Beautiful place! We drove several times by this place, but today decided to make a stop. And we were not disappointed! I love antique and this place is awesome! Need to visit! Highly recommended!

I stop here every time I come this way. We always get saltwater taffy and usually grab something else for the drive, too. It was super busy, so I parked in a back lot. I've never had to do that before. In spite of the number of people, I was still able to find someone almost instantly when I needed help finding an item. They didn't look at me like I was a Sasquatch at all. They quickly guided me right to the item I wanted. I also spent some time looking through all the antiques. I was looking for items that are pretty unique, so I struck out there, but that's okay. There are a lot of really cool things upstairs.

VERY good ice cream!! I got Lavender Salted Caramel, Jacob's Caramel Brownie, and Gary Dough [maple with cookie dough] with a cone and it was so good! The cone was so good I almost got a second one lol

????? If you're cruising through Central Washington, Thorp Fruit & Antique Mall is a must-stop gem! It's part roadside market, part vintage treasure hunt, and totally worth pulling off for. The Fruit: Always fresh, local, and beautifully displayed. Their apples, cherries, and peaches are some of the best you’ll find anywhere. And don't skip the dried fruit or cider—they make great snacks for the road or gifts to bring home. The Antique Mall: This place is huge! You can spend a good hour wandering through rows of quirky collectibles, old tools, vintage signs, and unexpected finds. Whether you're a serious antique hunter or just window shopping, there’s something fun around every corner. Bonus: The staff are friendly and laid-back, the restrooms are clean, and the whole place feels like a little step back in time—in the best way. Perfect pit stop for truckers, travelers, or families looking to stretch their legs, grab something tasty, and maybe leave with a new old treasure.

Love to stop here and get off the freeway. Family gets out the car to stretch legs. Look at all the stuff for sale on the 2nd and 3rd floor. A lot of the stuff always reminds me of my grandma's house and the smell. Fruit seems expensive here. Enjoy some ice-cream before getting back on the freeway. Can always expect to be here for at least an hr. Fruit/ice-cream/restroom .

Great pit-stop location to take a break and stretch your legs. A wide variety of goods purveyed here, from fresh fruit, candies, snacks, coffee, ice cream, craft sodas, wines, spirits, beers and more. Upstairs is an antique shop.

Great stop to stretch you legs. It's quite the tourist trap. It's got lots of cool stuff but it's way overpriced. But you might find a couple gems in the rough. But it's more just fun to look around and take a break from driving. The ice cream is good. It's warm inside too. No air conditioning. I was also surprised at how busy it was. The produced looked ok but again was very expensive and seasonal.

This antique store is massive. They have fruits, vegetables, jams, sauces, candy, a coffee shop, ice cream, a section with just lavender stuff and of course two floors filled with antiques and second hand items. And of course- a massive collection of hot wheels. The bathroom stalls have large gaps, possibly the largest I’ve even seen. The faucet is interesting; it’s an “all in one” type where you get soap, water and air from the same unit. Touchless.

What a Treat what a Treat what else can I say. The whole place is just a whole around Great Vibe. This was such a great place and a great find. They have hot wheels and Antique hot wheels also just antiques in general. Super cute place. They sell so many things including fruit wine and sweets. Customer service is awesome as well. Living 2 hours or so away it was worth the drive, especially if you need a change of scenery packed with great vibes.

This is a fun place to stop on your way to and from eastern Washington. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained and there are snacks of all types for road weary travelers. There’s also a gas station nearby with pretty reasonable gas prices. On Sunday afternoon, this place can really fill up but they have a ton of people working there and the wait is never long.

Saw the “Fruit Antiques” (glad it wasn’t Antique Fruit although they do have a lot of wine!) on the way to Seattle so we decided to stop in on the way back home. So much more than cherries - fresh asparagus and veggies, all kinds of yummy sauces, dressings, lots of Washington local products - really made me happy to see these small businesses being represented - such things are enticing to visitors like me. I am glad to support local wherever I go. Had to add the Ribeye Steak seasoning - hey we don need no steak - it makes stirfry veggies and crisped chickpeas outrageously tasty too!

I love stopping here whenever we head from the coast to Spokane. They have a bit of everything. Some delicious, albeit spendy jams and honeys and syrups and condiments and fruits and veggies and candy and popcorn and more! So much to see. Great place to buy some gifts for the gourmand in your life. If you like collectibles, the upstairs is the place to go and find a treasure. It’s really a fun place to peruse and stretch your legs from a long journey. They’re not the friendliest check out people, but I don’t care. I’m not there to make friends, but it would be nice to get greeted with a hello or a smile. The young man checking me out didn’t even make eye contact. Oh well. The place gets a 4 star. Customer service is a 2. Plenty of parking, too.

Cuuuute little fruit stand/antique store... a little on the expensive side. Wanted to see more local products but a lot came from other states..the fresh apples and other fruits looked great, huge selection of wines and sauces...in a great location near the interstate..only negative thing I can say is the couple at the cash register weren't very friendly ?...loved my scones and lemon curd and fig & walnut butter ??????

I love the Thorp Fruit and Antique mall and have been coming here for years. Even when it’s off season, there is still local produce on top of local jams, sauces, honey, and wine. The antique mall upstairs always has something new in store. If you’re looking for a hot wheels, there is a massive hot wheels collection.

Really cool place! They have produce, antiques, and ice cream, and there’s a coffee shop inside! There’s a huge wine selection and jams and pickled items, and lotions and so much more! There’s everything from your childhood upstairs on the second and third floors! I had a great time just walking around the place and looking at everything!

Huge roadside stop for produce and local goods such as honey, some packaged bakery items, fruits, wines, spices, salt water taffy, and even espresso and hand scooped ice cream. Good prices on produce. Gift shop prices on some of the gourmet food items. Two upper floors are an antique mall. Didn't explore there as i spent so much time on the main floor. Apparently a popular potty break spot too as many people made a beeline for the restrooms from their cars.

This is a wonderful place to stop. The gas station next door always has the cheapest gas and the antique mall itself is two levels with some amazing items. Some of the prices are a little higher than what I would expect them to be but each vendor is different and I always walk away with something really cute. The bottom floor has all artisanal sauces and items at great prices, fresh fruits and homemade ice cream. You cannot and will not be disappointed I stopping by and taking a quick visit! Even the view is worth stopping for!

I’ve been visiting this place for more than 25 years and it has changed very little, and only for the better. It’s so popular now compared to then, so they’ve added more parking. The rest is fresh produce directly from the farmers, cool antiques, and other groceries and items you didn’t know you needed :). The service is fast and they are always friendly. I recommend snagging a honey stick or two at the register on the way out.

Love coming here for the fruit. Superb local stuff at great prices. Where can you get 24 lbs of fresh nectarines for 11 dollars or Honeycrisp apples for .75/lb? Staff is friendly and there is a cool antique shop above. Samples are also offered so you know what you are buying. Freeway access is about as easy as it gets. It has its own exit.
