Today I realized that my brake lights were out. Oscar helped me every step of the way. Even though it was Christmas Eve, and I am certain that he would have loved being with his family, he came out to greet me with a smile. A big thank you to Oscar and everyone at Auto Zone.

I came to this location today with an issue with the way my battery was previously installed at another location. The moment I arrived there I was greeted by Cody and Oscar, and right away Cody figured out the issue and started fixing it on the spot, he showed so much care and interest in fixing my car. Cody did an amazing job and made my day. I want to extend a huge thank you to Cody for his incredible help. I left as a satisfied customer. Cody is definitely a valuable member of your team. Thanks to Cody and everyone at the Renton Auto Zone!

Definitely was profiled. I shop here pretty often. After I politely declined the need for help was still followed in store by who I think was the manager, pretending to be stocking or fixing something everywhere I was. I explained how his behavior was offensive and no apology was offered just more combativeness. Cashier was cool though.

I took my business to NAPA Auto Parts and O’Reilly because AutoZone is overly aggressive on pricing. For example: I purchased fifty feet of 3/8 inch wire conduit at NAPA for about $15 whereas AutoZone charged approximately $13 for ten feet of the same product. Also, The Parts Manage would not give me a refund for a circuit extender I purchased that was the wrong fuse size, although even one of the AutoZone salespeople there agreed that the fuse holder looked like the correct size for a 1986 Toyota Pickup. The Parts Manager stated that the product was damaged, even though I had only opened the blister seal and did not install it. Only use this store in emergencies if that. AutoZone customer service is operating in the Stone Age.

Updated review another visit: Came in for help and the manager Chris solved my problems in a matter of 1 minute and is extremely knowledgeable. This specific AutoZone has great guys and really show care in their work.

On this extremely HOT day, my battery died and I had to get a new one. I stopped at AutoZone and Cody helped me install a new one. He was so pleasant and worked quickly to get me back on the road!! Thank you for the great service, Cody!!

I go to the store on 4th Street in Renton and the staff is always so kind & helpful, but I have to give a special shout out to Owen who went above & beyond to help me first select the right oil for my car and then to put the oil in. I had never done it myself and had NO idea what I was doing and Owen walked me through the whole process, without judgement. He was kind, he was informative and very helpful. I am now inspired to learn some car maintenance tools because of him. Thank you Owen, you ROCK!!!!

I’ve been driving a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan since 2006. I moved to Renton in 2015 and have relied on AutoZone for batteries, windshield wipers and other routine maintenance supplies.
In September 2024, I purchased a 2021 Chrysler Pacificia with Start/Stop technology. The 2021 technology is extremely different from 2005!
About 3 days after driving the car home, I noticed the Start/Stop warning light was on. I stopped by AutoZone and talked to Scott.
He tested the 2 batteries that operate the Start/Stop system and determined that the charge was low and recommended replacing the batteries.
With Scott’s help, I was able to convince the Everett dealership where I purchased the car to replace the batteries.

Evan at Auto zone in the Renton Highlands was great. Without hesitation he changed my battery and windshield wipers. All in 10 min. I don't even know if this is part of the job description but it really helped us out. Especially because we didn't have the tools to do it ourselves. Great service. This is why we always come here. What a great store for personal service. I bought a headlight bulb and they cheerfully installed it for me right then and there in front of the store, for free! Plus I got a 10% discount on the bulb that I didn't even expect! What a great store!

Went in to get an oil filter for my motorcycle. Representative said she didnt know which filter was for my bike. She didnt bother to look it up. When I gave her the part number, she said there was 1 in stock and if it wasnt there, its not there. She claims that a truck was delayed. She did not bother looking for the item until another associate told her it could be in another section. She did not bother to check me out. Another associate checked me out and didnt even ask me for my phone number. I normally do not write reviews but I feel like this was the worse experience I have ever had.

I needed to replace batteries for my remote key fob for my car. (Only need to change batteries every 18-24 months) dont need to do this often.
So I Popped into Autozone in Renton for help with opening up the key fob and to replace the battery. Some places refused to help due to the value of the car but Terrence from Renton, was willing to trouble sleuth the issue. He took his time and even googled how to open the fob up. Him and his staff were super personable and helpful with this sticky situation but I’m grateful for diving in and helping out.. in and out in 10 minutes.Jun 15, 2024 -
I always go to this store and have amazing customer service but this 1 employee went above and beyond her service. Of course i forget her name.
I came in with no working brake lights in my 1993 suburban, so we checked everything. Well we ended up taking the back panel lights out in the rain, wiggled the bulbs and got them working again. I lost a couple screws putting the panels back on and she was able to find 2 in a box in the store. I absolutely love to reward hard working employees that go above & beyond. I love these guys. They're always willing to help and any situation. I like the one and downtown Renton. If I need help replacing anything there quick to come out and help me do that. They are very courteous and polite.

Had a great experience today at this Autozone! Luke Taylor found the items I needed (front and back windshield wipers and a turn signal bulb) and was kind enough to come outside and install my wipers for me. 10/10 service, he really went above and beyond! I would've happily done it myself but I was very very impressed!

Scott, the store manager, was incredible when I needed to get my battery changed. I was stranded in Renton and he took the time to replace it, even when the staff was a little short handed. I appreciated the efficient and kind service in a time of need, and he was very professional. I can also tell that there’s a level of comfort among the employees here.

This location is always super friendly and helpful. I purchased some rotors and break pads for my Ford Escape online so that I could get a discount and save some money. When I got to the store, rather than just handing over what I purchased they brought to my attention that I didn't get all the right parts. They brought me the correct parts, returned the items, and made sure my new purchase still included the discount. You don't get this kind of customer service often anymore. Thank you all for your help. I'll be back!

Luke at Renton Highlands AutoZone #4115 just saved my day. My battery died (again) in the parking lot and I knew I needed a new one. They quickly got me the battery I needed and installed it free of charge. They also took the old battery. He was super professional, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond. everyone is mostly nice but there is one hispanic man who jst looks like he hates his job every time i go his rude and does everything in a bad mood sad thins is i think his. a manager he told me my battery was bad i took it home and put it on my car and it turned on after they charged it for a few hrs

I had such a wonderful experience today at this AutoZone!
Scott, Luke, and Byron P. Were very helpful! My battery was having issues (and I bought it a month ago) and they got it replaced for me and even upgraded the model as a courtesy! Not only did they help me get a new battery they also took the one I had in and changed it out for the new one as well (which I couldn't do on my own as I'm not a car woman). Very amazing service and they went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of! 10/10 highly recommend this store!

You need this company in your life. I went in today because I needed a new battery. Adam, one of the managers, help me find the battery I needed and also installed it for me. This may not sound like a big deal, but the young man was friendly, knowledgeable, and very willing to make sure I was taken care of. Customer service, in my humble opinion, as a whole is so lacking nowadays and to get the level and service I received I want to be an advocate for this location. Thanks again guy!
