Great first time experience. No line, waited for about 10min and they did all the work. I just told them what I needed to recycle and as long as it's not one of the items that you have to give a small fee to recycle, I recycled 4 computers and a printer, so electronics most of them are accepted and don't cost a fee to get rid of. Best to avoid any unexpected fees, give them a call. They're front desk is very helpful and super polite. Great experience, keep up the amazing work 1 Green Planet
Nice to have a place to recycle stuff such as appliances, electronics, strap metals, car parts, etc. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Win win win in my book. Get rid of stuff for me, recycle to save mother nature and keep a company/employment thriving.
Friendly folks that take pretty much anything with a cord, or scrap metal!
Dropped off everything from lamps, computer cables, broken space heater, old Sonicare toothbrush.
Took pretty much anything made of metal — garden shovels, aluminum crutches, barbecue grills, baking trays, metal bed frames.
Unlike other recyclers, I trust they'll try to salvage as much material as possible.
Google maps took me to the wrong side of the building which I didn't realize. Even so, staff was very gracious and cheerful in helping unload metal household items from my car. The area is tidy and orderly. I really appreciate that it's free. PS you don't have to dismantle exercise equipment per staff.
Went to the Renton location today. The employee saw my mask and started fake coughing. That's so unprofessional that I'll probably seek out another company next time.

+1 to reviews saying they're friendly. Stopped by to drop off a few small things (laptops, batteries, cables), and was greeted by a gentleman who took the items and patiently answered my trivial questions.
1 green planet was quite simple to work with. They were able to send a pickup crew to my workplace in 2 days whereas other companies' responses were delayed. When they arrived, they took all the ewaste I wanted to recycle and were out in under half an hour. The recycling process of the ewaste was quick and they also sent me a video of the shredding process.
I just dropped off my old laptop for product destruction and the staff here was quick to assist me. If you need to dispose of any old electronics that you're no longer using, their electronic recycling business is a good place to go.
A lovely establishment that does wonderful work. I did some data recycling with them, a hard disk, phone, and flash drives. Their website is not as clear as to what they can do, it is best to call in and ask them.
I called to ask whether they could recycle my laptop and destroy the hard drive as well as our old tvs that no longer worked. Fortunately, they do so I went to their location to drop off the electronics. The entire recycling process was rather fast and their cost is quite affordable. I recommend this business to those looking for a reliable e-waste recycling company.
Great service. Just dropped off an old ceiling fan, light fixtures , and broken string trimmer for them to recycle. Feeling better that the materials will be recycled as opposed to going to a landfill.
Yesterday was our first time bringing in recyclables to 1 Green Planet. The Staff is friendly, efficient, and they make the process of recycling easy. Very pleasant experience!
Great place to recycle unique items! They'll take almost anything metal and all kinds of electronics, long list of items on there site which they'll accept. Workers come out and unload your vehicle for you. Been twice and very happy both times!
stopped there to recycle an electric lawnmower, the helpful gentleman at the door said to just leave it next to the giant green dumpster. and so I did. in & out in 5 minutes.
I emailed to make sure they took old portable air conditioners - they responded promptly that they do, although the hazardous substances require special handling, so there would be a fee - the same as at the transfer station. Most things are free to drop off. When I pulled in this morning, they were very friendly and quickly unloaded the appliance out of my car. So easy!
Any place that I can get rid of 6 broken lawnmowers for free gets five stars in my book haha. I went there and only saw one guy and he stopped and helped me un load everything. I warn it is down a dead end street that is surprisingly busy, you pull in (back in if you can) and pull as close to the unloading area as you can. He did state you have to be with in the gate or else he can't take it(?) But other then that, it's a great place to get rid of junk for free.
Good place to get rid of any metal i.e. furnace, fencing, roofing sheet metal, sink, appliances (even the old dishwasher which was mostly plastic) and electronic equipment (TV, computer, keyboards, DVD player, routers, cassette decks, VCR recorders...)
The people are very helpful and friendly.
Weird customer service issues: Their website says that they pick up appliances, but when we called to scheduled they declined. That's no big deal - sometimes a marketing message gets messed up.
That said, when we went to drop off our appliance, the workers helped quickly unload it and we were on our way.
