i just parked 1 trailer of weeds and small branches with no roots for 200$ if i parked somewhere else outside this place it would be around 40-60$ i dont understand how they can charge that much without any warning…very upset with 200$ for 1 half trailer of yardwast
Well organized and helpful. This was my first trip there. They helped me navigate the process and made sure we were safe. It was easy in and out. The cost was exactly as quoted.
If you bring in a small chair they will charge you $40 and call it an appliance. I was charged $547 for 2 fridges 5 mattresses and 2 chairs plus 2 microwaves. They're crazy. Will not be returning.
I dumped lightweight, mainly cardboard. Been here a couple times before. Now they say 1 ton minimum (didn't tell me earlier) charged me over $200. They ripped me off. Don't show up here unless you have 1 ton or more

I had a box truck full of granite that I was able to throw away, no other place that reached out to would accept the granite to either recycle or dump out. They even helped me with a forklift. Amazing job! Thank you.
The minimum charge is $200 dolars, it doesn't matter if you only have 20 pounds of garbage. Not coming back again, I should it check the reviews before coming to your place, shame on you!
They are really greedy chasing money vs customers - $200 minimum you got to be kidding me. I will take my business elsewhere only a fool would let these people take advantage of them.
The google page and website do not make sufficiently apparent that the Renton location doesn't pay for scrap metal. The amount of relief i felt when i found a scrap yard that was open until 10pm when i was in desperate need of cash to get back home was immeasurable, and so was my heart breaking disappointment when i was told that location didn't pay for scrap metal.
$319 dollars to dump and $300 in fees! Hope everyone knows DTG has a scandalous bag fee. If you have actual garbage, in an actual garbage bag, you get hit with a fee. If they don't know how many bags was in the load, they make a number up. Shady Punks!
I have a fridge to recycle. I called the Renton location and was told $40 for a fridge. I was at the scale house and the fees were listed in the window stating $40/freon appliance.
The person I then booth told me the price was adjusted and it’s now $75. I pointed at the piece paper in the window and was told too bad the system is what it is.
Wasted my time. I will not return.
King county partner web page clearly says $30 for mattresses and box springs.
No prices are posted anywhere at the location.
Gate person first tried to charge me $50 for a box spring, then changed it to $40.
this one guy named Edwin he was facility manager !! He was extremely nice and jumped out of his machine to help me and my husband to unload something super heavy him and staff was amazing !! they all had a smile on their faces the whole time.Last week i went over to dump again and to be honest it was horrible didn't get the same experience i went the first time there everyone seem rude and just told me were to dump, I saw a lot new face this time i went.I was hoping to see the same gentlemen that help me the first time to thank him so much again for his help .
Not free or cheap to recycle cardboard! I only had cardboard boxes to recycle. The Renton Transfer Stations recycling was closed so I found this place. I didn’t see any signs with prices or charge when I pulled up. The lady working the station knew I was in an SUV and only had boxes. She didn’t say a word. When I left I was charged $50! $50 for an SUV load of card board boxes. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE JUST AN INDIVIDUAL LOOKING TO RECYCLE BOXES.

General contractor here, these guys are the greatest. Down to earth, ball busting champs. Truly can't say enough nice things about this company. And the pricing is great not to mention the convenience of being able to dump out at port of Tacoma.
Was driving on 405 from 522 and one of their trucks flung a rock, and it hit my hood then my windshield leaving a big crack. Called them and left a message about the incident and no return phone call. So it’s safe to say I have to eat it. I am also a truck driver and I know this stuff happens so I will not ever recommend them or ever use them.
To be honest, in all the places I've visited have never caught my eye untill when I came across DTG Recycle - in Renton.

Very awesome , professional crew, always pleasant to see them with smile on their face, especially the gate person Tabithe. She never forgot to ask if I want a drink or not. It’s free. A drink may cost the corporate 25 cents but customer service is friendly and awesome. WTG.
So I came in to recycle the mattress today and the lady charged me $29 which is a little steep compared to the transfer station but at least it’s better than it ending up in a landfill. The customer service From the Attendant iWindow was awesome. It’s my first time here but I will definitely come back.
The customer service at the Renton DTG is outstanding!! From the moment you pull on the Scale Tabitha greets you with a smile, Once you get too the tipping floor Jon also greets you with a positive attitude, and sometimes a joke or two once he gets too know you. When you leave and weigh out Tabitha always offers a soda or water and a snack too keep me going for the rest of the day! Keep up the awesome work DTG staff!
I'm there 3 to 5 times a day, Monday through Friday . I Work for a residential recycling company . On the way in I recieve a Good morning from Tabitha, the scale lady, she is one of the best, I've seen in a scalehouse. Hardly any wait whatsoever she has my ticket ready on time and I'm on my way to go get another load. She always has a smile, She is good a what she does and keeps us rolling. Also they offer water, soda and chips.
While your there and you have a few to just stop and chat. Ask Johnny about one of his life lessons. He has some amazing stories. They are very awesome people here.
I recently came in with a friend and enjoyed the ride along. Quick and helpful employees. Great customer service from tabitha at the scales, she was super friendly and funny. Good all around experience.
If you have to go to a dump, go here. Tabitha at the weigh station is the best always cheerful and hooking me up with a drink and snacks as I leave. Everyone I have interacted with there is great.
Place is great. I work for a local junk removal company and these guys are great. Always quick, organized, and of course recycling is the focus here. Tabitha is pretty awesome too, she is so friendly and always gives snacks and drinks to my coworker and myself. Overall great place. 10/10
Never have to wait long. Tabitha is great and everyone is friendly. Facility is clean. John on the tip floor is nice and very friendly. Very efficient place to dump. I highly recommend DTG.
Great place,very helpful and professional. Tabitha and Jessica always greats you with a big smile and answers any questions you may have. John helps everybody out with guiding them into the right bays for dumping. Plus they give out snacks and sodas, very cool.
This place is Awesome! Affordable , clean. One of the best things is the customer service. Tabitha is awesome on the Scales and the guys directing us in get us in & out quickly.
