Lots of fake reviews out there. I looked up a part at the dealer for $220, and this guy slapped a $700 price tag on it “just because,” then told me to go buy it from the dealer if I don’t like something. I also asked about an airbag he quoted $580, the same price as the dealer’s OEM part $586. Honestly, don’t waste your time check eBay instead. You’ll find much better deals than dealing with this place and its fake reviews.
When my daughter’s car was hit while parked on the street, I had no idea the nightmare we were about to face. The visible damage didn’t look too bad — a fender and a mirror — but the suspension was shot, making the car undriveable. Insurance deemed it a total loss and offered us a low-ball payout that wouldn’t come close to replacing the car she loved. We were looking at spending thousands to get her something else, and honestly, nothing would have compared to her old car.
To make matters worse, when I tried to junk it, I learned how frustrating that process can be. Most wrecking yards offered a couple hundred bucks for a car that would easily cost $10K-$12K to replace. Then I called Mike at Black Diamond Auto Wrecking — and everything changed.
Mike was the only person who took me seriously. He asked questions, listened, and had me send photos of the car. He gave me a fair quote for wrecking it — but then asked why the car had been totaled. When I explained, his response was basically, “Is that it?!” He told me that because of his access to parts, he could get everything it needed — a fender, a mirror, and suspension — and have it back on the road safely for a fraction of what the auto shop quoted us.
At first, I was skeptical (I mean, after the insurance mess, who wouldn’t be?). But Mike was so genuine and honest that I decided to trust him. He even said, “If it was me, I’d let me fix it. It’s the best thing for you, especially since it’s your daughter’s car.” And he was right. We got the car to him, and within days, it was repaired and driving perfectly.
It’s been over a month now, and the car is still running great. Mike saved us thousands of dollars, countless headaches, and — most importantly — he gave my daughter back the car she loves.
Mike is honest, respectful, funny, and an absolute gem. If you ever find yourself in a situation like ours, don’t waste time — call Mike at Black Diamond Auto Wrecking. I would recommend him a hundred times over.

Awesome one-stop-shop. BDAW is distinguished from the rest because of the owners integrity! It was extremely refreshing to be given a reasonable price by a genuine person with a can-do attitude. On top of that, they did all the work I needed within 24 hrs. If I had gone through a collision shop, I’m sure it would have taken 1-2 weeks vs 3 hrs they had it done in, involved significantly more hassle (and been 5x more costly). BDAW made repairing my car easy and painless. If I am ever in an accident (or need of a part) again, I will not be worried because now I know where to go.

Nothing I seen wrong just when I called I would've rather been told then there was a core fee instead of when I got there I would have brought the old part with me $7 isn't much but for me thar would have paid for my gas for coming from Puyallup

He has an intimate knowledge of the small differences between similar parts, and makes sure you leave with the correct part that will fit the first time. I had an excellent experience with Black Diamond Auto Wrecking. Mike was extremely helpful in getting me two replacement doors and a rocker piece for my Toyota Prius which had been damaged on the passenger side. They performed all of the work onsite removing the damaged doors and rocker, and then installing the replacements. It was all done professionally and in a timely manner and the end result was amazing. The car looks great again, and it was all done for a very reasonable price! I would not hesitate to recommend Black Diamond Auto Wrecking.

Good family business they are much better then the Kent yard. I bought the windows and they helped install it one stop shop I love it and they honestly enjoy helping customer good people.
Purchased a power steering pump from these guys. Was told had 7 days to return part. They where very polite and nice. The pump had wrong bolt pattern. I ended up trying to return the part only to be told I couldn't have a refund. Not even partial. Won't be back.
I cannot speak highly enough of Mike and his crew. I was in an incredible bind and thought my car was a lost cause. Not only was he able to get the car sorted, but he did it for such a good price. It was also much less expensive than anybody else had quoted. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. They pulled the part and had it ready for me when I arrived. They also let me test the part in my vehicle to make sure it worked before paying.
