Had a company bus break down, they were quick to the site, handled it with care, and got it to the local auto shop safely. The driver even beat my staff to there and called to let us know he had arrived before he went in, which was very courteous.
This place is straight up evil and seemed to honestly enjoy stealing pretty much everything i held dear on one of the worst days of my life. First Bellevue mall discriminated, bullied, and lied thier way into removing us undesirables from their mall then this soul sucking company sent a driver who was straight up gitty to watch my wife cry and beg to at least get our son's backpack out of the car and giggled as he said nope and drove off. I hope karma is real, then these guys will get how awful they treat people on already very bad days. Kicking us dogs.
Reasonable to deal with, staff helpful & competent. Bellevue office is hidden deep in the Mercer Park Business Complex. Look for Mac Towing signs and Ibsen signs. Further back the buildings numbered with the address.
I never want to be towed, but working with Ibsen / Mac Towing could have been worse.
i called behalf of a customer and man was the person answering the phone rude. First she told me to call back so i did in the next second and when she answered and i told her i just spoken to her she says we dont have any trucks anyways and hung up before i could get my question out. no i would not recommend this establishment
My car was towed , the charge was over the roof !!! I arrived at their office same time as my car , and I was charged storage fees? What storage? They didn’t store my car , and to make things worse the lady was so unprofessional, very rude!!! This is stealing from people!!! I’m about to contact the manager for the charges !!!
Incredibly helpful! The attendant was kind enough to answer all my questions and even volunteered information so I could make informed decisions about my car. WILL call them again!
My friends vehicle was in here for not even a day, he was told it would cost 400$ if he came today to pick it up and if he came tomorrow it would be 100$ cheaper, he called back 10 or so minutes later to double check the price and was then told it would still be 400$ but if he came tomorrow it would instead be 30$ cheaper instead of 100$ this place is a complete sham, avoid this place like the plague
The service attitude of this store is poor. Customers have to wait for more than one hour to pick up their cars. The environment is very chaotic. The price is very expensive.
This company has 'agreements' in place to tow your vehicle without notifying authorities, property management or even the driver. Maybe I'm incorrect, but that just sounds like stealing. Vehicle parked properly in a parking lot with no time limits posted, individual left vehicle parked for 35 minutes before it was towed. Just another thieving company out to swindle you for your hard earned money. Two stars since an employee actually answered the phone, figured this company was just a hoax.
Says its 24hours.. But expect to wait a few hours for someone to show up to the office if you come after 5 and a extra $100 fee for picking your car up after hours of a 24 hour business.. Ridiculous
Very Rude dispatch. No one in the office even though we called ahead as requested. Still sitting outside the office after 3 HOURS with no ETA, no service and the absolute worst dispatch.
I was pulled over and after everything I was told I just got my car to a safe stop as quick as possible so when I found out I was going to jail (long story) the cops asked me if I wanted my car towed. After discussing options with them i agreed to have it towed and the cops called Ibsen. Once i was released Ibsen responded quickly to my questions and helped me get my car out of impound and offered several options to work with me on the amount. I am very impressed with their professionalism. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 because of the very high price to get my car out but in all reality that's not really in the guys control that helped me. He did offer me a way to counter the price which I politely refused. I did after all want my car towed.
Overall good experience with Ibsen towing.
Called this company for a car that was parked in my spot - in the apartment complex there are signs with numbers to this business. Towing car never showed up.
What started out a negative experience turned positive with clear communication, follow through, and excellent results. I would highly recommend Ibsen Towing
After reading all these reviews I'm not sure what to think! I'm about to have my first experience with these folks on getting my truck out tonight. So far Jacob one of the drivers has been helpful and courteous. I do agree the fee's are a bit steep for my budget but if the owner of the ampm on 8th & 116 hadn't had my vehicle towed one day after leaving it there and told him if be back soon for it I wouldn't be in this situation. But as far as Ibsen goes so far so good.
I'll give you 5 stars for your responses to people's ratings. More companies should do this, as many people lie and are angry at their circumstance and take it out on the wrong people. Well done! And I having my car towed tomorrow by Ibsen, so I'm hoping I do not have to edit this review. Thank you
The staff is very attentive and nice. They do their best to accommodate costumers. I had the pleasure of communicating with Diana. She answered all of my questions and helped me move my motorcycle. :)
If I could give less than one star I would. They towed my vehicle without proof that it was legal to do so. And when you ask for documentation from them showing where your car was parked that would warrant being towed you are told you would have to go to court which costs $83.00.
They are the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with, not only in customer service, but they are so dishonest in there tracking of time it takes to do the job. There business hours are completely misleading, when there website says open 24/7 and are quick to tell you that there is after hour charges. I had a car stolen on a Friday night from my house and when I first contacted driver he said there are extra charges to get car back on a weekend, & almost two hours to get car back to there lot. When I went to pick it up it stated two and a half hours and they charged 3 days storage on top of tow fees, talk about victimizing the victim . I am a professional driver and I would never treat someone in this position like that. It was not in my control an outrageous price of three days $630. dollars when it was no fault of my own, with no sympathy, and after I contact Jessie jones I will be talking to sheriffs dept. and state patrol and asking them to take them off OUR (the peoples) list of business that are public servants refer to.
Truly, one of the most dishonest and unethical businesses I have ever come across.
Beware of anything they tell you on the phone. I was told it would cost me $172.77 to release my car, and ~3 hours later, when I showed up at the shop, surprise, price went up to $400.88. When I ask why the difference, I was accused of lying about the $172.77 amount and the agent was extremely rude and confrontational. As tough as it was for me, I kept my calm and paid the fee (ransom) . I wasn't about to fall for another scam that these towing companies pull over people!
I called to set up two vehicles to be picked up and stored and the on call dispatcher for after-hours was a complete jerk. He literally insulted me and instead of just saying "can you say that a little bit slow" when I rattled off my call back number he told me "okay I can't write that fast I don't think anyone can write that fast." Like there was no need for all of that. Told me I needed to prepare better, like he knew me. Then wouldn't let me get a word in because he was speaking so damn fast. Idk how their service is or what their prices are but right off the bat I was disrespected and I just don't have the time for that.
As I went there to help my friend get her car back, we were informed by the driver; who was forced to come to the warehouse after a tow, that she would need to keep me( a woman of a dark skin) quiet if she wanted to get her car back. As I started to question him about the near 400$ fee to get her car back, he assured me that he wasn't doing business with me as I am not the owner of the car. He soon dismissed me and threatened to charge her more and also promised to she would NEVER get her car back if I didn't leave. Racist and unprofessional.
Their psycho driver was outdone only by the apathy of "manager" Scott. These schmucks went put of their way to make sure the towing experience was as unpleasant & inefficient as possible. Be particularly on guard as a woman on your own dealing with them. It's been a LONG time since I've been subjected to as many sexist & pejorative comments by someone in business performing a service & then had that conduct ratified by his manager by virtue of sheer apathy.
I do NOT recommend using Ibsen unless you like getting ripped off.
Ordered a tow, charged $241 per hour, but even though they didn't show up till 8:05 and towed me to my destination at 8:35 they charged me for 25 minutes from the time I called in and the driver arrived and an extra 20 minutes for the estimated time it would take the driver to get back to dispatch, a total of 1 hour and 15 mintues for a 30 min tow.
