What clients say about Budget Truck Wrecking in Auburn (WA)
Got the window need at a GREAT PRICE!! Everyone was nice and very helpful. I'm going back today! Because I kinda left my license at the counter 👍👍
Honestly is really expensive here for a bumper $400🤨,, On ebay $125 for the bumper and a pain job $250-$300,, The only way I will buy it if it's on good condition and same color for $400. BUDGET lower the prices and for sure you will have business otherwise pick and pull will take your business,
This used to be a wonderful place to find used parts. But as of late it seems they have either joined forces with Binford or have given up at being the best at pricing. I went there to get a small piece of glass that was at pick n pull for $28.99 and they wanted $109. Hell amazon wanted $72.99 and that was for brand new. I asked about a plastic grill insert and they wanted $130 while pick n pull wanted $34.99 and amazon wanted $119.99. Then asked about speakers and the guy said they very by grade from $10-$30. Pick n pull $7.99 regardless of what it is and amazon $19.99 a pair for factory replacements. At the end of the day your prices should be lower than brand new and definitely lower than a lot that doesn't require you to climb through black berry bushes to get into the truck. Times are tough that's why people buy used parts. You shouldn't feel retail sticker shock for literally recycling someone else trash.
Great service, excellent price Will come again for sure Thanks! Tire center too!
Ah yea this place has gone downhill. I used to love how they would have certain things that pick and pull didn't have. But now they have some dude at the front counter who looks like a grown-up butthead from Beavis and butt-head with rotten teeth in his mouth that has a major attitude problem. Asked him where the Ford f-150s were and he said put your ID in and go look. Most junk yards have assigned rows I asked him which row and he got an attitude and kept repeating himself like a robot like he was on the rag. Should definitely keep him in the back somewhere where he doesn't have to interact with customers just lost $200 now I wonder why I never see any customers in the parking lot anymore
says they are open Saturday. had 7 or 8 cars sitting waiting and no one ever showed up it was still closed affter 9
Great place for "you pick" car parts, the yard is clean and well organized, staff is friendly and knowledgable, prices are fair. Definitely a good place to check out if you need parts. It is free to enter the yard.
Needs a more visable sign to MAKE SURE YOU CANNOT PARK THERE AT ANY AFTER HOURS!!! My car got towed, and 20 others as well. There was an event over at the westcoast fight team and apparently Lynn’s towing company happened to get all those cars out and into their lot and have everyone pay over $500 to get it out. That’s $11000 in one hour that this company made from this happening. How convient that the Towing Company was 100ft away from where they Towed all the cars…if that’s not a racketeering scam then please tell me
Drove the all the way during business hours but it was CLOSED
I often tell people,"I'm the only mechanic I can afford." Being a single mom that statement is as true as it is funny. It also means I'm always looking for a bargain. I called here looking for Ranger parts , but was happy to find they also had SUVs and crossovers in their yard. Fingers crossed they have the parts I need for my MDX.
I definitely like the atmosphere here. I've been coming to budget truck wrecking for years all the way back since 2018 if I remember right. I've always been able to find F-150 parts here for my truck and they're relatively good on pricing. I like having access to loaner tools because I don't always remember to bring tools with me when I stop by but I definitely do appreciate the friendliness of the employees who help me find tools when I do need to borrow some. Everyone is super courteous and nice and seems like they're in a good mood and the bargaining is pretty good too.
Very helpful and fast service
Went in too purchase a battery for a person I met, too pass on kindness🙂. When I needed help, people were there. Today's world is tuffer for alot of us. A gentleman carried out the battery to my car. Very much appreciated 🙏🏻 🙂
Way too expensive, and poorly trained staff who just ignore you unless you are already their friend. Wanted $75 for a used part. when $90 buys you a new part. Go to Pick n Pull ($8 for the same part), let this business go away. Keep the tire guys business, they are respectful and reasonably priced.
He tends to have what I'm looking for but he has changed the price on me twice. I talk to him in the first place to get a quote and when I'm trying to walk out with the part the price changes dramatically. The prices aren't too terrible unless he's a mood to change the price on you and you're left with take it or walk away. The younger staff is actually awesome and pretty helpful
The people who work there are useless. I asked for help 3 times they would only point fingers in general direction of where i need to be, not even an explanation. You can tell they want to be there. In the end i managed to find out the car i was looking for which was not even there. It had been removed entirely from the row. Did i say the wrecking is so unorganized. I know it's a wrecking yard but I've seen a really bad organized wrecking yard before. This is the worse. I wouldn't have mind it if workers were a bit more friendly and helpful. What a waste of my time. If i could give a negative starts it would be -10*
Not friendly staff. The guy at the entrance doesn't want to help at all. I just came in and already feel like I owe them money:)
Honest pricing and good customer service. One of the last wrecking yards in the area that doesn't try and rip you off at every opportunity.
Budget truck must have been on a tight budget when they hired the guys that answer their phones, no matter what their paying them, they are not worth it. They were rude when I called and even more rude when I went in the store. Budget truck ? No Thanks.
MY KINDA PLACE ((THE BEST)) I was looking for a battery a good used one didn't know what kind I needed. one of the gentleman there came out looked and he got me just exactly what I needed and put it in for me nice guy!!
If you need a part for a truck, and you're willing to use a used part. If you know how to get it off the vehicle, and you're willing to do so. This is a great place to start. Prices are reasonable, and they are a fairly friendly staff of people. They are willing to talk about you problem and give advice. It's just an all round good place to start.
There yard was organized by vehicle makes. The grounds are easy to walk around and see the rows of vehicles. They keep the weeds down because I don’t remember seeing any around the vehicles that I was looking at. The guy at the counter was friendly, he asked what I was parts I was looking for and said that he gets that make of vehicle in frequently so come back in and check. It was my first visit here, I would recommend calling and checking the place out. They had a good selection of vehicle makes for parts.
Not friendly at all… got wrong part, decided to returned, no way… can replace for correct part, but they don’t have it in stock, so, no parts return, no exchange for different parts. Nothing…. Garry is a bad seller….
Ok. So I went by numerous times. Kept being told that the tire shop people would be there tomorrow. But they weren't. I didn't give up tho bcuz I was referred here by someone else. I needed to have the tire I bought mounted on the rim I had. Finally the tire shop employees ended up being there and I got it fixed. They told me only a 15 minute wait. And the employee who helped me deserves a raise in pay!
The best truck wrecking place. Easy to navigate and the staff are very helpful. Always call ahead with your questions. Don't forget your extra pare of clothes. Let's face it these vehicles sit out and open 24/7.
These guys are great they will pull the part for you if you need It my cost a little extra but it's worth it. The customer service is top notch and they are very knowledgeable....
Absolute hacks. their prices have been raising and raising. I was quoted over 100 dollars for basic dana 44 locking hubs in poor condition. On the most recent trip i inquired about a dana 20 transfercase and when the older gentleman asked what vehicle it was out of, I said it comes in many different vehicles of many years. he wanted to argue with me and said its going to cost me 350 dollars. I have come here hundreds of times over the years for fsj parts and it has gone down hill since then. Besides some newer Cherokees they have had the same jeeps for about 2 years now, some for much longer. Also, anything older than 1987 they rarely have parts due to their stock being picked over and not freshened. Save your time and avoid this yard. I bought a dana 20 for 75 dollars on craigslist and saved myself 225 dollars. If i could give negative stars i would. Btw if the guy reads this, it was produced for 27 years for multiple different manufacturers, don’t argue with customers when you don’t know what you’re talking about.
Place is alright, guys are not total jerks, but are by no means rude, just ask your question, and go inside, a few of the guys are somewhat friendly too. It's one of the few places that has a nice inventory of pathfinders and hard to find Toyota trucks, prices are not fixed SO BE FIRM, throw a low number out, they will work with you because they want those parts gone. All in all, not a bad place to go.
One must pay prior to having a part removed by their staff. Something I wish I had known. However, despite this minor set back, their staff jumped on the task and a Dana 44 was removed/examined for damage before end of shift. I picked up the rear differential March 19th and it was expertly lowered into the bed of a truck. Easy peasy!
Called ahead they had the transmission I needed on the shelf. Fair price, 30 day exchange warranty. Arrived payed for the item it was brought out within 15 minutes
