Love this store! I've been collecting hardware bits to make art and ornaments out of, and today when I went in for more materials Kendall was so helpful and friendly and enthusiastic that my trip was even more fun than normal! Nelson is also helpful and knowledgeable about the store's stock, and incredibly friendly. I can't recommend this place enough!
Absurd selections. Got a lot of great Baldwin hardware for practically nothing. Tons of stained glass, furniture, and lots of architectural stuff. Plan on doing your measurements ahead of time and spending all day. It's that much.
Hope, whom I nicknamed "Giggles" was very sweet and patient with me and trying to put many items on hold and helped with the transfer of my item, I love her happy attitude and her giggles were refreshing :)
Love all the Earthwise locations. Aberdeen one is just a few blocks from our house. Prices are great and I have found all kinds of things to help rehab and remodel as well as to decorate my home. Don't be afraid to haggle a little. If items have been there awhile, they will likely give you a discount.
This plane is amazing! It's so much fun and has so many cool things. Old things, repurpose-able things, reclaimed cabinets made from beautiful hard woods saved from our landfills and from being wasted that we can use for a complete kitchen revisit remodel for $800! Unbelievable! You'll love it! And the people there are SO nice! Veterans discount of 20% to boot!
Such a fun place. I love to come here and see all of the new things. Just recently learned they have a website that they catalog all of their items. So helpful!
What a great store! So many beautiful items and the people who work there are very friendly and super helpful. If you're looking for something, just ask, there's a good chance they'll have it. Even if you don't have a particular project that you're looking to complete it's fun just to go browse here.
We went in looking for two windows, both of them with narrow widths (one under 16"and the other under 24"), and a wide door. We couldn't find one that was under 16." Then we discovered the etched glass windows. They are like stained glass, but instead of colors, the glass pieces have different textures. Those were around 10"-15" wide. We bought one before realizing there were more to choose from, elsewhere in the store. The windows were spread out around the building. We didn't see them all before choosing the one and purchasing it. I would have liked to have seen all of them first. I imagine that had we asked, we would have been directed to all the spots that had those windows. But, it would've been easier had they all been together in one spot.
Fun and friendly staff. Well organized display of all their items. There were some really neat and interesting things. This was kind of like a Habitat for Humanity meets an antique shop.
Love this place only reason why they’re not getting a five is just because I feel like it’s a little overpriced on almost everything. But if you don’t mind that you will definitely find some unique chunky type things, Like thick doors, big chandeliers, windows, columns, so many cool things to decorate with
So they have a lot of different kinds of architectural, salvage stuff in here and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed talking to 2 men who were running the place at that time and then I was impressed with some of the world stop they had there, well, not exactly out of the world because you know, I don't. Know how much architectural salvage you can get on the moon. Except maybe the lunar lander, but I think that belongs to the United States still. Going back to my subject. It was a great time in there and we got to find these 2 little chef when the articulating legs.
I absolutely LOVE this place. It's sort of like a habitat for humanity store, except bigger,and with a lot more unique pieces. They've got an entire room for door knobs, and handles, and drawer pulls, and hinges. Both standard, and decorative. This place has a little bit of everything from stained glass accents for your home, to antique furniture, and tools, to spare home maintenance parts. You should only go in if you've got the time to get lost in all of the aisles and things to look at and explore.
Aberdeen location is the best!!! You never know what you will find. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is friendly and will look for things at other locations for you. Wear a coat cause it is a bit cold. Great place!
Super friendly & knowledgeable staff. I love shopping on Earthwise. Every time you go, there's always something different tons of cool vintage stuff.. Pet friendly. You're able to donate items and trade stuff in for store credit..
Love everything they have here! It is so cool. We found some amazing furniture options and some cool door handles and lamps. It is like a treasure trove to the past. The owner is sweet as pie. If you have dust allergies make sure to take some extra meds (the place is very clean, but it is inevitable when you have building materials, furniture, wood etc.) (And I mean this reminder as a positive. I was not upset by it, but I would have dug around longer if my allergies hadn't booted me outside).
Highly recommend checking this place out. Whether it is for building supplies or for decorating your home of work. It is AWESOME
This place is absolutely amazing. We've been using them to bring our 1925 home back to it's original glory. They have everything we need for the look we're going for. I'm so glad that we have such a great place so close to home.
We love this place, They have some great antiques and unique things to look at and the history of the items can tell a story just by holding them. Many used building fixtures, doors, stained glass, windows and many many more items to mention. Worth a stop if you have never been here.
Have received outstanding service and some beautiful stained glass for our home, in coordination with the Aberdeen and Seattle store. The sales staff are courteous and helpful and forthright. . Prices are reasonable and the inventory varied. Online access is available as well as access via phone for questions and inquiries. We have made multiple purchases.. Between all three stores, (Tacoma also), there is much inventory. Encourage the community to stop by and check this business out! You'll be surprised with the treasures you will find.
There are all kinds of cool things here! Whether it's something you need like doorknobs or hinges that you can't find in a hardware store or items that you can repurpose. No sales people bugging anyone. It's a very fun place to go. Old doors, wood, furniture( small) windows! All kinds of great items. Definitely worth stopping for.
Needed some boards for the shelf's for this project. They helped me out by cutting the boards and holding them for me. Called me often to keep me in the loop! Shout out to Toby and Kat for awesome customer service and help!
