Under new ownership in the last year or so and haven't been back since but met the owner and he was friendly as well as helpful. Willing to work with you on deals another place I consider if D&S auto don't have what I need. Prices from what I recall are little but high.
I used to never go there because the service sucked, but i heard it was under new ownership .. WOW, what a difference, good people that treat you like your a customer not a pain in their ........ congrats to the new owners, this will now be my first stop when i need parts!
So far excellent. Tom was knowledgeable and helpful. Hopefully the trans I got there will be great and I won't have to find out how they deal with problems.
I went to get a battery for my car...i thought since mine was a exchange they would know what I needed...wrong..have to go back. The hood on my car won't shut.
New management as of summer ‘18, they are very helpful and friendly, however did not have the knowledge to identify parts correctly so I drove out of my way to find they didn’t have what they thought. I would give them another chance in the future though.
I've conducted business with auto wreckers many times in the past. Since it's under under new ownership, today was my first visit. I went in to look for a mirror for a specific vehicle and got a pretty good price quoted by the famous, front desk person, by the name of Alex.
In the past, I remember purchasing a $50 part and ended up getting stuck with it because I could not trade it in for another part of equal value. I hope these type of circumstances change so that the consumer within Longview, Kelso n fm. wherever can patronize Ace Auto Wreckers more and more.

When things get real busy, we, the consumer, need to keep in mind that Alex's maning the phones and dealing with walk in potential customers it's not a job that every man or woman can handle. Let's give the guy a break and keep in mind that Alex knows what he's doing!!
I bought a replacement 5.3l for my Chevy Avalanche, the new owner Brandon took care of me, even when i had a minor hiccup with the replacement, he never doubted anything i said, and was always very responsive to my questions, and messages, awesome customer service, which is rare to find from a small wrecking yard. Ill be using them in the future for sure!
I've never been but when I called to ask if they had any 97 RAV4s I was put on hold three times, basically anytime I had a question. I was greeted with "one sec put you on hold" not "how can I help" etc. Customer service is not great.
Amazing customer service they have almost everything to differ locations so if they don't have one part they can get it for you. Prices are very reasonable I've been there several times working on my truck and it's always a pleasure to go see Alex and Brett.
Guy who answered the phone had a thick accent and poor English, when I said what vehicle part I was looking for he immediately said they didn't have it without even checking. I asked him if he was sure about that, and he said maybe if I call back later he will look after his lunch?? What a joke
Ordered a coil pack for a Cadillac some time back and it came in broken. Alex said they would send another one. Never happened. Called many times and he said they did not have another one. Refund to my credit card never happened, it's been 2 years. Ordered a transmission computer for a Honda Accord, never happened, but they charged my credit card. Talked to Alex about it, he always says call back // I'll do it Monday // ETC. ETC.// BLAH BLAH. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE
Rip offs. Sold core engine as working engine took 2 months to get a replacement. Replacement had blown head gasket and cracked heads. Been almost 4 months and still waiting for my refund
I brought a motor from them they give me a knocking motor .. when back nd talk to them they say it a good motor .if it was a good motor why it knocking nd will not work with me try to talk with his boss never there for 3 week ..let everyone know this place is not a place to do business with
If I could give a negitive 5 i would, a week to pull a part and they talked to me like i was a stupid girl that knew nothing. Then when I asked for my money back he refused to give it to me. When i finally got my parts and asked for a receipt he said he was gonna have to charge me for it. Worse place ever and rude!
Great honest people, Made me a package deal on the parts I bought. Will be driving past all the corporate owned yard to go to them from now on! Sad to see the bad reviews from people who don't know what they are doing, but for 1000s of good sales no one reviews, you always get a butthead that shouldn't touch a wrench!
"The toilet bowl of wrecking yards" These guys deserve a medal for being the worse. I've been to screwed up wrecking yards before but this one tops it off. Minus 5 stars. Need to say no more.
Paid 60 bucks for a gas tank for a 2002 Kia Sportage. Sold me a 2005 gas tank guaranteeing it would fit. Not even close. (neck was way too big). Would not give money back or swap for correct tank. Was told tough s**t. Will NEVER use again and I make it a point to tell everyone to go anywhere else.
Been going there for years. Kevin and his staff are always good to me, which is hard to find when you are a girl who works on her own cars... My only complaint would be that when they don't have something I need, that I have to go somewhere else...
Not a bad place to get parts from. Service is a little lacking: don't bother giving them your number if they're busy and need to call you back, as they never will.
folks are rude and slow, abd refuse to pull parts before payment is made so if you don't have all day to wait for them to pull a part go elsewhere. took nearly 4 hours to get a set of springs.
Horrible!!! Drove from Portland... Bought an engine for a Cadillac Seville, only to take it to the shop to find out it was bad after installation. Shop took it out I took it back up there and they swapped it out. I thought, cool I have a good engine now. however, A NOTE Hour Drive Back I Took It To The Shop The Mechanic Opened The Oil cap To FINA Water Mixed With The oil. ((2 bad engines)). They had no more junk to give me and refused to give my money back. They said I had to wait until they got another one in stock. Months later still no engine. I had to call around and find one myself from LKQ Foster Auto Parts in Portland. They set up a deal and bought the engine from LKQ for $350 and I paid $750 for their engines and they still refused to give me any type of credit. Never buy from there again.
