Bewsre. Always call ahead. Website advertises 8-noon on Saturday. (Except holidays of course). Not true! They may close at 11:50. They may close earlier, even 11:40, why waste 40 minutes driving time and gas expense due to a misunderstanding?
DTG here in Richland has improved their facility tremendously recently. The new management is already making improvements to the facility, as well as the customer service received. They are great to work with, and I would highly recommend them!
Since switching from Clayton Ward to DTG I was not convinced that the service would remain the same under new management, however I was happy to see that is has not changed. A gentleman by the name of Dakota was incredibly helpful and I would recommend them.
Clayton Ward was awesome! Now that they changed to dtg everything changed. Only a 2 hour window to drop off paper everyday. A recycling company that dosen't want recycling customers
Not paying for aluminum cans yet Pacific Steel is and they say they won't start paying for aluminum cans again.
Boycott Clayton Ward and go to Pacific Steel.
Same situation, only taking "gift" recycling! I called to ensure that they were paying, and got a very carefully worded script, that made it seem like they were recycling Al, but when I got there with 12 bags of rushed cans (usually about $3 to$4 per bag) I discovered it was ONLY drop-off, not paying for anything ! My disappointment was that the guy I spoke with wasn't very up front about what they were doing! Driving 24 unnecessary miles to find that out was extremely discouraging!
Went there today to cash in my aluminum cans and saw a sign saying that they are NOT paying for any recycled materials anymore. Will not be going there again.
I dropped off 7 big bags of cans that had been sitting outside this past month in the weather in all the rain there was one of the bag that was really full of water the gentleman that help me got all snotty and drained the water out and didn't even tell me thank you when he gave me my money he was very rude and inconsiderate I'll never go back.
