Had an old, dead, corroded battery that superstar Jakob helped replace in the summer heat. Got exactly what I needed and was able to drive away in a timely fashion. Have come here for odds and ends as well where I always get good service from the many employees here.

I had an emergency yesterday---driving through Kennewick, my battery died and I was left stranded at a gas station. I called O'Reilly Auto Parts and a Parts Specialist named Jakob diagnosed the issue, drove to the gas station with a new battery, ran a test on my alternator, and stuck with the problem until I was safely back on the road. He also kept me laughing the entire time. Customer service doesn't get better than this.

Updated* read below Had to use to obd scan tool. I was used to giving my license and getting the codes I needed, but this young white guy asked no questions just went and got it and proceeded towards the door till I asked if they didn’t give it to the customers and he said “not anymore” he proceeded to go too fast instead of waiting till I opened the door, got the codes and went in, I followed and he told me the code which was an evap emissions leak which I knew about but I had a code about the alternator last night as the battery light in my dash came on, I was trying to get the code again to do research anyways… this guy then proceeded to tell me it’s the gas cap which was already replaced. Definitely need to educate your employees on basic customer service skills like explaining services, asking questions about the problem etc was a poor experience, he then printed out the code as I was leaving and I told him no it’s useless to me. Educate and train your employees better. I get he’s young but unless it’s his first day and he was trained poorly I’m sorry bad experience. Greet, ask questions, confirm issue it’s not hard to interact and help problem solve. Update* Thank you for the response, sorry it took me a bit to update. I’m encouraged by the reply. I apologize for sounding harsh if I was the process was confusing during. I’ve updated my review to reflect the resolution provided.

I had gone in to get a replacement car battery 2 weeks ago, I had the manager there replace it for me on the spot. Fast forward two weeks my car won’t start or show any lights on my dash. My dad tightened the connectors and it worked fine. Do not let Oriellys swap your parts, they do not do a good job.

It seemed like the salesperson was young, naive, a touch rude, halfway helpful and only slightly interested in making the sale. (Failed) oil filter,oil, and brake cleaner. I apologize for interrupting your conversation the two of you were having. Sorry to mess with your time. Maybe try the bathroom next time so you guys can have a better conversation there.

the gentleman were super polite the problem was the three of them were completely uneducated about anything to do with lights on a vehicle I asked all three of them if they had any knowledge they said not really they were new not trying to dog on this O'Reilly store but there must be a reason why there's nobody in the parking lot

Shouldn't have to stand here 8+ minutes for someone competent to get off the phone to return a rented item. Cashiers should be able to do cashier work. OR....get off the phone and attend to your job duties

I was never once acknowledged by anyone working at O ' Reilly's, Couldn't ask questions or anything, they were too busy playing with there phones and screwing around not helping customers

If I could give it negative stars I would. Unless you are an established customer that knows the guys working don't bother going here. After being ignored and left standing holding heavy items while waiting to check out I finally set everything down and walked out after having been there for an hour. (It only took me about 15 minutes to find my items, I was waiting to check out the rest of the time.) I was trying to purchase a few accessories for my vehicle, some windshield cleaner, and antifreeze. I literally sat it all down and walked out as I needed to go to the grocery store down the street, and it was about to close. I was never once acknowledged by anyone working at O ' Reilly's, the other customer that came in got the same treatment. Couldn't ask questions or anything, they were too busy chatting with people they obviously knew. I ended up at auto zone. Prices were slightly higher, but customer service was excellent. Do NOT give O' Reillys your business if you value customer service. I have heard nothing but complaints about the place since my experience there! Seems this is a recurring problem with this location.

Oh, oh, oooh where the hell is the staff? In the back chatting about non car stuff? Shout out to the white boy that covered for them until I got loud asking for help. After I asked for help, 2 associates came out and knocked out the line. People literally tipped their hat as I walked out. All that mess when Auto Zone is 2 businesses down. Come on guys!

All right little parts store they don't have everything I need sometimes but they go the extra mile to get it for me so I'd say yes that's a good place for parts if they don't have it they'll get it for you

Tried to order a few items online for in store pick up since I thought it would be convenient. Oh, boy was I wrong. After waiting 2 days with no notifications on my order status or without being able to contact the store, I contacted the Customer Service via their website. It took them another day to just get my order canceled since they couldn't contact them either. Pretty redonkadonk for something I could of just drove to the store for in the first place.

I had a family cross country trip and my vehicle had an engine light ON and it bogged me as I did not know why it's ON. Stopped by this store to run the OBD2 test. Appeared that there was a bad O2 sensor for my Odyssey, I had loaned the tools for the O2 sensor to be removed, was able to replace it my self. Got back on the road with new O2 sensor and better gas mileage. Big thanks to John and Rudy for assistance to troubleshoot the issue with my Odyssey!!!!!

They have been very friendly and helpful every time I've been there, more than any of the other auto parts stores I've been to in the last 40 of my 60 years! And they even gave me what I call my Granny discount!

I thought I would have a a nightmare getting the warranty on my hybrid battery fulfilled, but Aaron in the back made it all happen incredibly painlessly. This is guy is like the man behind the curtain in the Wizard of Oz; you never see him, but he is the one doing all the magic behind the scenes. Everyone at this O'Reilly's was incredibly helpful.

Staff were not super friendly but they were able to assist me. I was also given advice which was not just some sales tactic. Staff came out to my car to help me access areas which I did not have tools for. Great experiences here!

Really helpful staff! The commercial manager is always super resourceful. He seems to have an answer to all the problems and if he doesn’t have the part you need- he’s sure to make sure he gets it in.

I came in for wiper blades which should have taken me 5 minutes but ended up waiting 10 minutes for someone to help me check out. There was one person helping other customers and taking his time while 2 other employees walked around the back. Not the best experience.

There are a few good guys here, but Junior (one of the managers) is an absolute joke, and the reason for my negative review. I've dealt with him a few different times, each time no different from the other: He is slow, unprofessional, and acts inconvenienced each time he has to help a customer. If you walk in and see him at the counter, you might as well turn around and walk right back out.

The main manager there always helps me find what I'm looking for since I started rebuilding my car and if he can't he usually overnights it on a truck for me. Pretty sweet!

Wow so helpful! My car was having a few issues with check engine lights and batteries and they gave me a thorough print out and helped me figure out everything, also changed my battery and wiper blades for free! Thank you so much, the Other autopart place down the road was no help at all
