They are hands down the best. They answered my call on a Sunday. Were very informative and courteous. Mr. Ronnie also gave us a ride to a nearby hotel. I’m new to the trucking business but I’m glad it happened in Wytheville lol
PLEASE BEWARE! WILL DAMAGE YOUR PROPERTY AND SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY. I called for roadside assistance on my rig! I was told the call out is $145 and the labor rate is $145 minimum for 1 hour. The driver came out in a timely manner and was indeed friendly. He assessed the situation and found the issue! My leveling valve needed to be de-iced. That took him all of 20-30 minutes to complete! He wrote up my receipt. As we were wrapping things up he notified me of a major coolant leak. He told me he could take a look at it if I would like and I was fine with that. Turns out I needed to replace my coolant reservoir! I proceeded with the repair. During the repair he COMPLETELY broke my driver side bumper and did not notify me of it! That is what really pissed me off. In all fairness, the bumper on my driver and passenger side are both cracked in the same spot and are being braced with a bungee cord to relieve any access pressure! It has been that way for months with no issues. When the job was finally completed, I noticed my bumper cracked in 3 other areas and completely hanging from the bracket. The bungee cord was no longer preserving it! I called the company immediately and notified them of everything! I seemingly got the run around for a few days! Once I got in touch with Shannon to rectify the situation, she did apologize and blamed it on being busy! I do understand, but I feel had I not applied pressure, I wouldn't have gotten anything resolved. I had time to look over the two separate receipts. There was a charge of $145 on both receipts for a road call. There was only ONE road call. Then I noticed that there was an overcharge for labor on the first receipt for the leveling valve! If there is a labor rate of $145 for 1 hour minimum why was I being charged $217 which equated to 1.5 hr labor !? I asked Shannon and she stated because he had to sit which involved his time. Sit for what, he never sat during that repair. The only time he sat was while he waited for the delivery of the coolant reservoir in which that labor was equated to 2 hours and that was on a totally different repair! Why take an extra 30 minutes on a job that literally took 20-30 min to do when you're already getting a flat rate of $145? Needless to say, after all of the back and forth, I finally did receive a refund for the overcharge, better yet STEALING of my hard earned money and compensation for the damage to my bumper! However, I still feel like they are crooked and they have left a VERY BAD TASTE in my mouth. If you choose to utilize this company’s services, pay CLOSE attention to your receipt and do a thorough inspection on your property. Best of luck.

The owner of this auto shop is the most unprofessional person I have ever meet!!!! He cussed at EVERYBODY in site! He was mad at everybody because HE messed up and damaged a customers truck. I would NEVER NEVER recommend this shop to my worst enemy! There are better choices and I would strongly recommend going to another shop!
Awful! I got a flat tire coming back from TN, pull off to get tire replaced. It took 4 1/2hrs and $425.00 to replace one tire. Avoid at all cost if you can, they seen a desperate man with his family and they took advantage of it.
I blew a water line on my semi truck just south of wytheville on interstate 81. I called wytheville auto and truck repair ( the first or second on the list that popped up on google). The receptionist was very nice and professional, and had me lined up within minutes with a rescue truck. Dylan, the technician that came to do the work, was very polite, and knowledgeable about what he was doing and also took the time to talk and explain what had happened. He had me repaired quickly and made sure I was running good before he left.. After my experience with the road technician and the office staff I would highly recommend them, and I will definitely use them again in the future during an inevitable breakdown.
Had oil leak and a vacuum leak. I had to leave my car there 3 days.i was charged almost $500 bucks for a new oil filter 4 quarts of oil and to tighten a hose clamp on a vacuum line near the intake.way over priced. Didn’t fix the issue.
My GMC van blew out it's rear end outside of town. Being from Florida, I didn't know where to take it for repairs. My tow truck driver recommended Wytheville Auto and Truck. I am grateful I did. It took longer than expected for parts being a 26 year old van. Once my part arrived, the crew got right on it. As a retired mechanic myself, they did a wonderful job at a good price.

This company is great repair shop he came for my hub seals he just cleaned them and he said they r good and he didn't charge any cents he is very honest thanks a lot
While in route to move my daughter and her boyfriend to Florida, one of the calipers seized on her boyfriends car. Wytheville auto was able to get i=us in even on Saturday, finalize diagnostics on Monday order parts and repair for us to return on Tuesday to pick up the vehicle. Knowing that my kids were safe on their way back to Florida was a comfort as I returned home to Ohio. Pricing was fair and they were so wonderful to work with. Not only was I forced to use this company due to truck being on the highway but this company proceeded to tell me and I quote “I don’t care, pay me my money so I can go home” no empathy or Compassion. 600$ to tow the truck 1.9 miles should be a crime.
We had our exhaust rust out on our recent trip and we called them the night before and they scheduled us for the next morning and we’re able to help us get back on the road. They were able to weld my exhaust back to the muffler on my 2005 Sprinter motorhome. They really helped us in a pinch. They were super nice and helpful and gave us a very fair deal.
Repair shop broke my passenger side mirror, and hit my cv axle damaging it causing grease to fly out everywhere. They simply didn’t care and would only give free labor to fix. They damaged my part and insist I buy the new part. Do not use these people EVER. I would give less than 1 star but it’s not an option.
Wife and traveling from MA going to New Orleans. While driving thru VA; truck had a DEF issue: which of course freaked me out. This was on Saturday at 5pm. Not being from the area; i was lost until we called these guys. So extremely helpful being from the Boston area; that blew mind to begin with but for them to say bring in tomorrow on a Sunday so they can look at it, well that floored me. Brought to them Sunday morning about 8am and 4 hrs later they had us back on the road.
I am so impressed with the help; with working on a Sunday and with the complete friendliness and service. And too my biggest surpised; they didn't jack the price on me; very fair pricing.

I had some car troubles coming home to PA from a visit to Tennessee. After dealing with a garage close to where my car turned off and not being given the time of day, I got in contact with this company. Not only did they squeeze me into their schedule, they were beyond kind and welcoming and made sure my car could get me home safely. I am so thankful for their kindness!

This company has bailed me out twice when I was hauling furniture from the south to my store in West Virginia. They truly care about people and not looking to rip anyone. The last episode, I was held up at a weigh station, didnt realize one of my inside tires was running flat, They would not let me leave until air was put in. One company wanted to charge me $385, just to put air in the tire. Wytheville Auto & Truck came to my rescue ! I am forever greatful !
Terrible service! Made an appointment for 11 am on 2/17/25 for a inspection Arrived and no one at window After 15 minutes a man can out of the back and told me he might be able to do it in 3 hours. Why do they make appointments? But at least he recommended Collin’s auto repair on 4th st They said they honor their appointments so made one with them. Wasted 1 1/2 hours driving and got up three hours early and still no inspection Will never use this time wasting company!
Great service at a bad spot on the interstate in even worse weather. In a commercial vehicle, which is beyond some people’s capabilities. They took good care of us. Great fellas. It was not cheap…. But at the time and circumstance we were up against it was worth every penny. We are thankful to have found them. Well done.
This crew helped to get my box truck back on the road when it derated. Initially thought it was an injector, not exactly a small expense on a box truck. However they dug in and realized it was just a few minor issues throwing these codes and not nearly as bad. I had already given them the go on the injectors. They came back and told me what needed done and it was way cheaper and easier than what we had talked about. Not only was it great to have the truck fixed at a very fair price, the honesty and integrity of these guys was far superior. I would recommend these guys to anyone in need in the area. Unfortunately I’m based in Ohio so they can’t be my all time mechanics. Although I’ve considered finding ways to get my trucks serviced through them!! Haha
I was passing through during my trip I had my trailer brakes completely stop working I gave them a call and they took care of me immediately! I was back in the road in less than a hour with brakes! Very knowledgeable and these guys are legit!
We got there at 9:00 when they opened in the morning and they changed our tire on the land all trailer and we were back on the road within an hour Great work great people
Be aware of scams. We had a trailer down 19 minutes from their location. We had to get a tire and they wanted nearly $1000 to come out and replace one tire on the trailer. I ran Service department for General Motors for 20 years. I know their business and even though they were raking us over the coals no problem I’ll pay you that for one tire, but then they wanted me to pay in full before they even left their shop. I said I don’t have a problem paying you, but you at least need to go out to my driver where I know you’re there and I’ll send payment. They refused and knowing they were the only one in that area that had the tire left our driver stranded. Moral to the story is it looks like a duck walks like a duck and quack like a duck it’s a duck! Stay away from these individuals they overcharge and quite frankly I’m pretty sure they would’ve never shown up after I paid them.
We had a flat tire, on a horse trailer, with horses on it, & a quick google search led me to Wytheville Auto. After a quick phone call, they had someone to us on I77 & they helped us swap out the tire in under 5 mins! Exceptional service. We were thrilled !
ignorant !!!!! would not let us see what was wrong with my vehicle, made a promise to have it fixed with in the week. when I got back to Pa, I received a call, they were not doing the repair. on the repair, and will be charging $50 a day storage. Had to pay $250 for the removal of my Harmonic balancer. Had my RV towed home, left instructions to send the old part back with my RV. they kept my Harmonic balancer, and cut off communication attempts for me to get the part back. I even sent a return postage paid box for them to put the part in. . bottom line they took out a Harmonic balancer, and refused to give it back. blocked my number, for over 2 months. ignorant and sneaky.
Fast, friendly tow service. We broke down on top of Fancy Gap on I-77 while pulling a trailer full of kayaks. The owner arrived in the snow and rain within 30 minutes to load up our Jeep and pulled our trailer to safety for a very reasonable price. Thank you for saving us!
