doesn't broker parts even if you have ordered from them in the past, asked if i could send a wire transfer or a zelle and got treated like a scammer, used to purchase from them, cant anymore
Came here two years ago with my dad and they were completely professional. We used an auto shop closer to my father's house and the mechanic said we were sold a good transmission.
Came here for a part they didn't have in stock and they got me what I wanted for 136$ less than the lowest price I could find on ebay/amazon. Probably not the usual experience but it was mine.
The Staff was very friendly and helpful, which is great because I wasn't in my wheelhouse, so I was weird.
They helped my stranded wife and kids in extremely cold weather. And then next day helped get the vehicle fixed and back on the road. They made a bad situation much better. We are very grateful.

Called Staunton Wrecking because I needed a tow from a dealer to my home. Great price was quoted, and super friendly. Took the appointment over the phone, agreed to grab keys at dealer, and estimated time of arrival within the hour.
They arrived almost exactly when quoted, the price was as promised (actually 5.00 cheaper) and the driver who I'm upset I didn't get their name, was super friendly, professional, and even positioned my car for me because I was worried about moving it and stopping it only with an e-brake.
Super happy with the friendly service, professionalism and understanding - Would highly recommend for your towing needs!
Great experience with Jeff in purchasing a used grille for my son's Honda Pilot. Took the time to get the paint code from the vehicle and communicated back very promptly. Will definitely be my first spot to check for any future needs.

Called on 6-15 was told by Jason they would pull part on 6-19 and ship via UPS and I would receive tracking info via email. Called 6-19 was told part was pulled but would not ship until 6-20. Called 6-20 and was then told it would definitely ship on 6-21. I then called back two days later on 6-23 to follow up again on shipment and tracking info and explained I have called multiple times about the part that I have already paid for and told would ship and the gentleman said I don’t care and placed me on hold 10 minutes would not pick back up. Called back and again put me on hold another 10 minutes and would not pick up. I never received the part and disputed the charge with my credit card company on 7/1/23. Totally unprofessional and dishonest business.
Loved the service got me just the right part. If they don't have it in stock they will just ship it in. I don't know Jack squat about cars but they came out (I had lost a mirror) and looked at my working mirror and got me a new one that matches perfectly.
Probably the most polite customer service rep. that I've ever talked with. He treated me well, measuring the part I requested and answering my questions in a friendly way. He even called to apologize that it was shipped one day later than he expected. Good customer service really goes a long way. The spare tire I received was in great condition too.
Great customer service! They did not have what I needed but Jeremy (I think was his name, may have been Jessie...) found my part at a different location (in WVa) and had it shipped. He called when the part arrived and was ready for pickup. This place has a good team!
I’ve never wrote a review but I had to for this situation. DO NOT order from them if they do not have the part on-hand. They lied every time I talked to them. I paid them 3k for a transmission that needed to be shipped in. 3 weeks later, after lying each week saying it was about to arrive he tells me today it never shipped out and he’ll give me a refund. That doesn’t help when I haven’t had my car for several weeks.
After a tremendous dealership fail, my vehicle was towed to Staunton Wrecking. When I called Jason, he was the first person I had spoken to that gave me information about what had happened to my vehicle. He responded with the most fantastic service, enabling me to retrieve my car within a day. Above and beyond service, for which I am truly grateful. Champion, mate!
As a auto repair shop I traveled to buy a 3.8 kia engine from Staunton wrecking com... pd for it and put it in within a few days. they said it run great. in which it did! but a day later when the customer pick up the van. the motor when bad with a mile of driving it .... I called them back to let them know what happened ... and Jason took good care of me and honored there warranty! A++++ I will buy again !
Staff seems helpful to a degree, and willing to get a part they don't have. Each time I have called though I end up not wanting the part because of the price. In talking with others I am apparently not the only one that thinks prices are high. In my most recent interaction I was placed on hold, than apparently forgotten about. In trying to call back I could never get a hold of anybody. While it wasn't a big sale by any means, it did cost them a sale and resulted in a bad review.
Called on Wednesday to buy seats for my truck. Gave them my contact info and let them know I would be there either Friday morning or Monday morning to pick up. They said they would have them pulled. I took off work Friday. I arrived Friday morning after a 2.5 hour drive and they told me they went to pull the seats and they were gone. They never let me know. The gentleman seemed apologetic but I still lost 5 hours of my day and a days worth of income to be off work. Very frustrating. Gave a 2 star instead of a 1 star because at least they seemed apologetic.
Mike went out of his way to be helpful. He was very pleasant and a joy to work. Jason was also very helpful in assuring me they had the part I needed. After calling and speaking with Jason he said it would be about 10 minutes. Once i arrived a few minutes later Mike was there with my part. Couldn't ask for better service!
Guy's were really nice and professional, women behind the counter was rude. I didn't complain to her that she took almost 4 hours to get back with me, left me a 2 hour window to get there. Last time I got a part it was waiting for me, thought the same this time.
Last night I had a difficult towing situation, with a vehicle in a ditch lined with trees, next to a thawing, wet, grass yard. Staunton Wrecking came quickly and arrived at their estimated time. Jason was professional, courteous, and reassuring. He was able to get the vehicle out quickly. The cost was affordable, and more than fair and reasonable. This was by far the best experience I have had with a towing company. I would trust them with anything, any time, day or night. I am will without a doubt always going to use them in the future. Jason is the best ! He came out quick for roadside assistance on a Sunday! He took the time to help me find the tow hook for my BMW and took great care of the car !
Took it to repair facility and filled out all paperwork for me !!
