I have one of the most common 5.0 motors made by Ford. I was in the process of changing the plugs, then my wife pulled me away from what I was doing, which was good this one time, otherwise I would have continued to put plugs in that would have knocked a hole through the top of my piston on my only working vehicle. By the time that I pay a lawyer, and go through all of the time out of work because it's the only working vehicle I have, me and my wife would have been severely damaged and we would have been out of business. Because the spark plugs would have hit the top of my pistons and knocked a hole through them. I don't think anyone should work in a place to where they can't even give you something as simple as a spark plug, that they don't realize that it would actually destroy a vehicle because they gave you the wrong ones. I would not under any circumstances ever give anyone the most important thing to an engine.. which is spark plugs...without making sure that they're the correct ones. I 100% would sue them for lost wages over something as simple as spark plugs because they don't double check what they're doing. I do not recommend buying spark plugs without taking your old one out and walking into the store physically. Do not under any circumstances buy spark plugs from this place without having a physical old one in your hand to compare. the time out of work and paying for lawyers that it would have took because it would have damaged my only working vehicle would have not been worth even dealing with this place. I 100% will give minus five star if there was some way to do it. Putting the wrong plugs in a vehicle could destroy it permanently.
I love the quick & honest service here. What I don't really like is that more times than not whatever I need has to be ordered & delivered to the store before I can get it.
Very helpful staff and can get what you need in a reasonable amount of time if they don't have it on hand. They are always super friendly and happy to help!
Well, I would like to begin by thanking the pretty girl that works here, for disagreeing with me when I informed her that my one year old battery I purchased from here, was bad and covered by warranty. After being stranded in freezing cold temps thanks to its failure to start my truck, I was over it considering it was supposedly a three year battery, yet already failed me within the first year. I had it tested by two different garages, both told me the battery was no good. When I took it back to replace, the girl told me it’s not the battery, and refused to cover it under warranty. This led to yet another late day to work, nor to mention a write up. After that, I took it back again only to be confirmed by her that this time it was no good. Any way, people are kind and helpful, prices are reasonable.
I walked in the store and two of the employees were standing behind computers as if they were working. Didn’t greet me at all. Five seconds later an older white guy walks in and he was greeted by both and asked how they could help them!!! Will not be visiting again!!!
Poor quality of salesmanship. Who tells the customer that your warranty for brake pads doesn't cover when you drive with the brake pads on your vehicle.
Doesn't price match and the oil is $40 for 5 quarts when walmart has the same thing for $17. One time I will go in and they will price match, the next time they don't.
To be as well stocked as they are, there is very little emphasis placed on actually waiting on customers and getting them out the door. There are always employees milling around in the back while customers wait. Today, I finally gave up, returned my jug of motor oil to the shelf and left. Not even a "can I help you?" If you want quick, courteous service look eslewhere.
Thank you to the gentlemen at Advanced Auto Parts for helping me. I was traveling and had car issues. They helped figure out the problem and what parts I needed and found a local garage that could fix it that day. They went above and beyond to help out an out of town traveler. Greatly appreciated!
BJ and Scott absolutly saved my day when they went above and beyond to replace a wheel bearing that had gone out on my trailer. I would have had to spend the night 4 hours from home had they not saved the day. There are some great people working at this Advance! They created a lifelong customer with exceptional service and kindness.
Great store and mainly friendly people. Theres Only 1 dick that works there didnt wanna use my speed perks card because it took to long. Got to love having something close though!
