This is a nice 3/8 mile banked track. But could be run a lot better. The pros: 1: A nice facility overall, and the track itself is well maintained. 2: You have the option of sitting in bleachers, or bringing a lawn chair, plenty of space. 3: Clean bathrooms. 4: Concessions are good, and reasonably priced. The cons: 1: Way too much time spent on time trials and hot laps. Actual racing started at 8:40. 2: Far too much time with no cars on track. Found myself, (as well as others) saying "let's go", "what's the hold up"? 3: Announcing is terrible! At first only one speaker was working at all, then a second, but many were not. The "announcer" was eating the mic, garbling everything into unintelligible mush. Then, before races even started, all announcing ceased for the night. No idea what class was on the track, how many laps the race was going to be, or what was up next. Horrible as a newcomer to this track ( not a newcomer to races). 4: Flagging was not good. Many time the flag man missed stopped cars, being very late to throw yellow. Someone will get hurt if this doesn't improve. Some ideas for improvement: 1: Forget time trials, they are boring. Have heat and consolation races to set the mains. 2: Better organization is needed. Lineups should happen in the pits, BEFORE the prior race ends. As soon as a checkered flag is thrown, a new group of cars should already be lined up and heading out on the track as the last car from the previous race exits the track. Having multiple pit areas is not helpful, but if all classes can't pit in the same area, at least organize so that all of 1 or 2 classes pit inside, and the rest outside the track. Example: street stocks and pure stocks inside track, all others outside. That way, cars can line up and get organized while there are cars on the track. 3: A better P A system is needed, or get it all working. Announcer needs to be replaced with someone who engages the spectators better and knows how to speak into a microphone. 4: Flagger needs better awareness of the WHOLE TRACK. Spotters watching specific areas for danger and in communication with the flagger. This was obviously not happening as it should. 5: I have never been to a racetrack that didn't play the National Anthem, prior to the start of racing. You need to consider playing it as it was absent. I have been going to races since I was a small child, and I don't remember ever being so excited to see a facility, to then be so disappointed by the execution. Tighten the act up, please!

We’re not a local from the area but have got to visit this track several times and absolutely loved coming here . They have good hamburgers at the concessions also . The crowd has always been friendly and everyone has always been so nice . I do know the racetrack has a new owner “ Amanda Bradley “ and she seems to really be involved and committed to making it a bigger nicer track. Would definitely go back to this track 💜

Hearing the many engines and exhaust is a good get away from everyday hustle and bustle.

One of my favorite tracks on the AAS touring schedule we are here 2 or 3 times a year and I can't wait to come back. Great place to take the family and enjoy some premier dirt track racing they put on a heck of a show. 🏁🏁🏁

This was a rare gem to discover. A true southern Saturday night experience. Sit in the stands, bring your own chair, or stay right in your car. I must add you, and your vehicle will get clay dusted. Just good old fashioned fun.

It's OK, just needs a 100 % face-lift on the whole drag racing track. And keep all the people all crowded up at the starting line , dangerous. Make that a stiff rule unless you are with a car , don't need 8 people to line a car up . But it's close by so I think new owner will fine tune eventually.

The 2024 season saw a new promoter and they have made multiple improvements to the facility. They are more organized and do a great job at prepping/maintaining the track! They have also brought in numerous "money" races to include Steel Block Bandits and American All Stars. I can't wait to see what the 2025 season holds!

They really have improved the organizational aspect of the raceway. Racing has always been good there but now the evening of racing is even more enjoyable. They start on time and move the program along really well. Really like the way they do the winners interview at the special place near the track but not on it. This way the next race can line up and get started quickly. Other dirt tracks could learn from Natural Bridge Speedway on how to run a show.

I went to the drag strip recently since it's reopened and they're doing a lot of work and hope to see drag racing back in this area for good.

Very nice track. Beautiful location. Was here with a traveling series. Had an issue due to a scoring error which cost our driver several positions. Not sure what the issue was but, understand that things happen.

This is a bit of Americana via motorsports that's the essence of small-town tradition. Good people, very laid back homegrown vibe with hot dogs, fried bologna sandwiches, ice cream, and of course lots of left hand turns on a dirt track that's very nice. Sit on the grass, sit in your car, sit on bleachers that have been around since the beginning of time. 20 bucks to get in but since it was my first visit, that may be subject to change. I'm planning on a return trip soon. Good family activity if you like the dirt track experience.

Good racing last night! Season finale. New owner of facility has a lot of plans for '22. That will be great for the track and fans! Would be nice for weekly programs to return. I remember those from the 70s.

Loved every freezing minute. It was cooled that night. Races were good. The guy next to us was friendly. We had a blast. Needs food. It was freezing and they did not sell hot coffee or chocolate.

My husband and I traveled to Natural Bridge Speedway dirt track for our first time and it was one of the best dirt tracks that we’ve visit with the friendliest folks around!!! the owner GW and his son made us feel like family .. we traveled 3 hours and they let us pull our RV onto their property and campout overnight, we will definitely plan to return for their fall classic the first weekend in October if not sooner!!! Spectacular place to visit!! drivers uprooting the mud and being so competitive in their driving skills ❤️ Dirt Life Memories ❤️

My husband and I attend the races every weekend. While there one Saturday night, after waiting until 930 for qualifying to finish, it started to storm and the races were canceled. We left for vacation the following weekend and upon returning, were told that our rain check bands would no longer be accepted. So rather than letting loyal race fans enter, we were forced to pay ANOTHER $30 to enter. Keep in mind that the races that were rained out never even got started that night. Whoever decided to not accept rain checks past 2 weeks do not value loyal fans. This rule needs to be changed. Also, with charging at least $15 a person, you’d think the score board could be fixed, the bleachers could be fixed, and the bathrooms could be updated... Or at least kept clean. Where does the money go?? It clearly isn’t put back into the track. Poor management.
