Went there to look for a part they put a band around my wrist and printed out a pice of paper with a bunch of numbers on it and said here you go didn't give any direction to were the vehicle's were I told them it was the first time there you would have thought they would have been more helpful for first time customers.

They have great prices and most of the time we can always find what we are looking for. Plus the place is Hugh. Get ready to walk when you go in lol

This place should not be in business! One of the employees hit my car, called the manager and never reported it to the owner, they both just quit. The owner or their insurance never fixed my car and it was there fault how do you hit a parked car in McDonald's parking lot, oh I know he was on this phone driving. The stories I have heard about them hit cars and doing nothing is ridiculous.

When I drove up to the yard I had a feeling the business was a scam. The yard is covered so you can't see what's inside. You have to pay $3 for the privilege of going into the yard to see if the part you are interested in is there. They won't tell you if they've got the part because they say they don't know. They say it's a gamble. I talked with someone outside and they explained the game to me. When a wrecked car comes in, they take pictures of it to post on the web, then they strip it of all of the valuable parts. The stripped carcass is what you pay $3 to inspect. Valuable parts are sold individually at they're other office, either online or on site. So, if you want some piddly little part, this MIGHT be the place for you. If you want a substantial part, lit's not worth your time.

One of my favorite places to go. My only complaint and it's just the way things are nowadays but I wish they had more older cars and trucks more frequently.

They don't have any motor or transmission on yard they sell everything to another company which buys everything at around 300 and sells for 2000 and up they get first choice on everything it's a rip off I hope they go out of business

Pick N Save has gone to shit, When it was Old Dominion if you called someone would answer the phone, this is how they made Money. If you live in Roanoke you call now you get transferred to Lynchburg. Good Business. NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE AND THEY DON'T CALL YOU BACK IF YOU LEAVE A MESSAGE.

I Went To Pick N Save Roanoke Yesterday looking for a Working Radio for my 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, I Found a Radio in a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, I Pulled it Out and Took it Home, It Doesn't Work, Only The Clock Works, It FIT Fine .I Also Found an Armrest That I Thought Would Fit, But It Did Not Fit. I'm On Social Security Income Only and I Asked For My Money Back, I Paid Cash. I Was Told I Can ONLY Get Store Credit. How Does This Help Or Be Fair When They No Not Have What I Need? No Matter What I Said, NO Refunds. $45.64 Wasted! Plus The $3.00 Entry Fee! Not a Lot Of Money, But For Me, It Is a Big Burden On Me! They Advertise 100% Customer Satisfaction, But Don't Care About People Like Me. I Will Gladly Change This Review If They Refund My $45.64 , I Have My Receipt and The Parts

Hours say open Saturday and needed a wheel that it said was in stock online and it says closed on Saturday on the voicemail. Shouldn't be hard to update hours and days!

I would only go to this place If I desperately had to. I paid $6 for my partner and me to enter. We got there at 4pm. The cars are very hard to find. They show the lot number online but when you get there it's in a different lot. My partner went to ask an employee that was driving around in a red truck where a certain car would be located and all the employee said was "we are about to close so you need to leave" and it was only 4:30pm. They close at 5. We continued to look for the car because we just spent $6 to enter. We found the car a couple minutes later and got the part quickly. As we were walking back to the front to checkout, the guy rides by again shaking his head and says I already told you to leave . I said "we are leaving now". He then says "thanks for the attitude and tries to argue back and forth with my partner and me. Honestly it was pretty nerve wracking and not even worth going. The only reason I went is because the part we needed was discontinued online but I would have happily paid for It then deal with the rude employee that works there. I definitely do not recommend this place at all.

I love this place! I've been living in the trunk of an Oldsmobile 442 for 13 years, without ever being caught. With the colder weather drawing in, I'm now I'm hoping to be able to move into a Buick Verano, but these do seem to be quite rare in this yard lately. Once the staff all head home, the other 15 or 20 residents join me, where we run about the place naked whilst slamming car doors and singing Taylor Swift songs. It's such a fun place to live. Highly recommended for those considering a lengthy stay but would suggest a Chevy or possibly a big Chrysler as these are better suited for stealth living.

The website really sucks. You can't find nothing or prices anymore like they want you to come and spend $2 to walk for nothing, not cool.

Pick n save used to be my go-to place I used to love it there parts are definitely reasonably priced plus you never know what kind of goodies you can find but lately the staff have just turned into complete jerks they used to work with you on pricing and we're really friendly and eager to help now the last time I went whoever the young boy is running the front desk was rude acted like he couldn't be bothered every time I'd ask him a question and just really acting like I was irritating him and couldn't even budge on a price for a $5 difference when I was going to spend over $150 he couldn't cut me a break for five bucks I know just a few months it wasn't like that at all the guys would do anything they could to help make sure everyone could get the parts they needed and they used to let you go in the yard to look at tires without paying the entry fee and now you can't do that either I just wouldn't recommend this place anymore unless they get rid of that snoby young boy he ruined a place I've enjoyed for many years.

No inventory of parts on hand, only pictures of vehicles when they arrive. Bring lots of your tools. you're going to need them to remove parts. $2 entry fee to enter the yard. Charges an environmental fee for all parts & warranty fees unless you decline. Still a cost-effective way to purchase used auto parts if they have what you need.

Went to try to find parts for a used car. Customer service was awesome very helpful when entering location to find auto in question. Unfortunately part wasn't available but was pleased to find out that they will buy scrap cars and pick up!! Price was great and competitive with other prices offered. Was first time there and was impressed with yard and customer service.

There is a lot to offer at Pick-n-Save. My first time there February 2023 I was surprised with how many parts we’re available. Lots to be recycled.. screws, Bolts, weather stripping! Bring some TOOLS to dismantle parts. Good staff helpful.

Best place ever. But have a hard time knowing when half off days is. I would like Roanoke to do all you can carry day as well. The website should be up dated on both of these events. But other then that this place ROCKS

Within 2hrs found, picked, and saved over $300 of priced items online. Not to mention their half off sales on Saturdays! How convenient considering that's when most people have the time to come. I appreciate the customer service it was very welcoming. They seem to treat people like family. I would definitely recommend Pick-n-Save Roanoke.

* Inventory yard is organized in relation to manufacturer. This is helpful. * Compared to other yards, it is well kept (no yard is perfect but these are in line, fairly easy to access. * It's a business, so new 'cars" are rotated in from time to time. * The attendants are business like in their demeanor, but helpful in their direction or advice..

Pick-N-Save has saved me a ton of money. Great place, great people. But today I had to go get a fender. Well, the only one available was pretty bent. I was hoping for maybe half-priced due to damage, but no joy. Still came out with a fender, a nice glass headlight, and some interior odds and ends for 90 bucks. Can't beat the price! Priced through the popular online auctions site at 400 bucks for the fender(clean, and my car color), and the headlight.

Used to be unbelievable prices. Now, with environmental fees, etc some of the prices are a little high for a Pull Yourself Yard. But in all honesty, if you wanting used parts and know how to pull them, you won't be able to beat the price unless you find a car/truck on craigslist and purchase the entire vehicle outright. Otherwise, clean and organized(as much as a junk yard can be) and best prices you can find, although prices have gone up a little bit over the years. The sales are worth waiting for also!

This review is for the LYNCHBURG location since the review portal for that location will not come up for me. I have been to the Lynchburg location many times and have been able to find the parts we need and GREAT prices. I especially like the 50% off days, try to go when I can take advantage of that deal. They have a good selection to PICK from. You should try them out you will get the part you need and some exercise too.

Needed to find parts for several different vehicles. Pick-N-Save had everything we needed at a fraction of the cost for just one part. Staff was extremely helpful to check for availability of vehicle, and location on lot. Purchased 2016 calendar which contains free admission coupons monthly and had 50% sale on day we went. Highly recommend.
