Amazing service, the gentleman was gentle with my vehicle, and they were very respectful despite the circumstances! Best Tow service I’ve ever encountered!

They pulled me out of a ditch in the snow, helped me get to a hotel, took my car to a mechanic, & helped me sell it when we found out it had a blown head gasket & a busted heater core. Seriously, they're good people, & will help you a lot.

Family Towing was the service assigned by AAA. Best experience ever with AAA and I have been a member for over 30 years. I was a little concerned when the driver was obviously a young man, wondered about his experience. My worry was not warranted. A.J. was professional, courteous and obviously knew what he was doing.

I wish I can give them -5 star review but unfortunately I can't I wish places like that never was exist and people who is worked there never have a any kind of job because they are liars,unhumans and unprofessional people they towed truck Friday morning and take there place to fixed but after couple hours they said they can't fixed and will be fixed today at 11 am maximum at 12 I was driving from NJ and goin to Florida with 2 trucks I asked them if they sure about tomorrow because I have to stay in a hotel and wait alone and let another truck to go for delivery they said of course truck will be ready at morning and today I get there 11 am and they are closed truck was same place same broke condition outside the shop after I call the enterprise rental company they send me Uber to drive 40 min away to get new truck come back and unload by myself alone 26 foot truck and load in new truck because FAMILY AUTO TOWING lied them and because they also closed can't do anything else I finish everything around 5 pm and till that time no one show up at the shop they are disaster people!!!

A very nice and professional young lady did as good a job as any man hooking up and towing my BRAND NEW 2025 Silverado, that wouldn’t turn over…but that’s another issue. Really happy with the job. She was fast on scene and got the job done in good order. They have up to date rigs and I highly recommend them.

We had a problem with our truck and had to stop here for repairs. Unfortunately, the repair team overcharged us, and I ended up paying nearly three times more than what the service was worth. I feel very disappointed and taken advantage of. I will never come back here again, and I cannot recommend this place to others.

I was very pleased with how professional they were. I was greeted with great customer service by the driver. She was very careful with caring for my vehicle while hooking up to the tow. She worked quickly and was very attentive to what she was doing.

Had to call AAA today when my car left me stranded. Patrick with Family Auto & Towing responded to call. He was so professional & assured he wouldn't leave me stranded. Kudos to Patrick for jumping my car & it started. I would recommend their service to anyone!

If you value your vehicle and time never go here. I had some work done after my vehicle was towed in. The first time I picked my car up I was able to get 3-4 miles down the road before my car started breaking down again. They came and picked it up, which was great. The culprit was a "bad part." Went back a second time to pick it up and they said they test drove it and everything was great. Checked my odometer and the car hadn't been driven even a mile since I dropped it off. I personally checked the car while it was running and the power steering pulley was jumping all around. The issue was not fixed and they lied about test driving it. They said they'd take care of it for a third time and this time they would drop the car off since I lived far away and this was a huge waste of my time. Instead of dropping the car off, someone dropped the keys off in my mailbox! Eventually I drove down to get my car. I found that my power steering pump was replaced with a junk yard part that was beat up and already starting to fray my serpentine belt. I had to fight with them to agree to a partial refund, which they never credited back to me. This has been a 5 month battle.

I did experience a long wait getting a tow for vehicle to dealership. Otherwise, the owner was friendly and efficient once he arrived. I appreciated the service and would consider Family Auto & Towing for any future needs.

My husband uses a large box truck for work and he happen to bring to the "little house" what we've always called my grandma's house. With all the rain-the truck ended up getting stuck. Turns out we got to meet an Across the street neighbor today! If you need towing done this young man and his assistant I think would be Perfect for the job. They were such a blessing to us.

Had them pick my f150 to replace my front end (CV axle, balls joints, etc) and they got it done really quickly. Willy made sure to keep me in the loop of what was going on and I will definitely be going back to them for future tows and repairs. Very cool people and I highly recommend them. No matter how busy they got they always got back to me.

Most amazing tow company I have had the experience of working with. They made sure my every concern was addressed and jumped on fixing any issues any way they could. They over promised and under delivered with the repairs. The worst experience I have ever had with a company.

Outstanding towing company. Highly recommended for towing. If you break down in the Prince George area, would recommend calling FAT (Family Auto and Towing). Worth 2 stars. However, should you require any mechanical work...run. save your money. Take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic. My experience: car towed (exceptional customer service). Was told no charge for towing if I authorized FAT to do the repairs. Fair enough. However, a simple repair was out of their skill range. Told me they had to order parts for repair from dealer. I asked for INVOICE that proved they purchased OEM parts. FAT could not provide one. FAT Performed work, returned car, problem not resolved. FAT attempted to resolve the problem, actually came to my house and towed vehicle to their shop. 4 days later, we picked vehicle up (nobody on site to provide paperwork) returned home. Next morning, car would not go into gear, same problem we paid FAT to repair. Was told FAT would return our $$. Still waiting. NO Invoices to prove their work. I will post the work order received in a separate post: Never, in my life, have I seen a line item Re-Learn Who does that? In addition, owner told us he wished we never brought our car to them! This company gives you a price upfront, but in the end they give you an invoice that’s a hundred times higher, and they won’t release the truck until you pay. Even if you call the police, they just stand there laughing and tell you to go ahead — you’re not the first or the last. In the end, you have no choice but to pay because the police don’t do anything.

What a lifesaver Family Auto and Towing is! My car decided to have a major meltdown – radiator, water pump, and electric fan all went kaput – while I was at work. I was stressing out because I needed my car to be able to pick up my daughter the very next day. The team at Family Auto and Towing completely understood the urgency. They worked incredibly fast and efficiently, getting all the necessary replacements done overnight. I was so relieved to have my car back and running perfectly in time to get my daughter. Their quick and reliable service saved me a huge headache! I highly recommend Family Auto and Towing for their excellent work and their understanding of their customers' needs.

I called the day before about my a/c blowing cold air on all my vents but the driver side. I had replaced the cabin air filter and attempted to put Freon in myself but it wouldn’t stay in. They told me to bring my truck by so they can do a better diagnosis. I made an appointment for the next day for 10:00. When I arrived they took my truck and was able to diagnose and repair my issue with my truck within 1 hour and half. Fast service and affordable

Hit a large rock 4 hours into a vacation trip and had to get towed from the side of the highway late at night. We got a call to doublecheck our location and a wonderful young woman was there to save us a few minutes later. I really appreciated how upbeat and reassuring she was. She really lifted out spirits after one heck of a debacle. Thank you for the amazing service!

Wasn't even a customer. Isiah and his sister saw my parent's edge stuck in my yard. Isiah politely knocked on my door asking if I needed help. I explain that I would but didn't have any money. That did not matter to them. They helped me anyways. Took like no time. Definitely will keep their card for future business and will recommend to anyone. Speaks volumes to their character and this company. Would not get help like this from anyone. Definently was a silver lining to my day too. Much appreciated!

When you're here, you're treated like Family. It's a casual environment with professional mechanics and a great deal of compassion and comradery in the front office. These are people with personalities larger than life. Getting your vehicle towed is never fun, although here...it very nearly was. Kudos to a job well done fixing my PPV diesel truck and getting me back on the road.

The two gentlemen I talked to were very caring and made the process less stressful than I thought it would be. I was already having a bad day and they made the experience very positive. I just want to recommend this company for their trucks when they need to be towed or to make repairs, their service is excellent and very honest, that is what we are looking for, they are the best in the area, I was looking for the best option and without a doubt they are the best, talk to other places and very bad service even on the call, they just want to go and get paid and do nothing. The owner of this company is a very honest and kind person, without a doubt I would return to his workshop. They do service for cars and trucks 100% highly recommended

PART ONE - On Saturday, August 10, 2024, I drove my daughter and her car from Long Island, NY, to South Carolina to drop her off at school. We decided to split the trip and stay in Virginia, hoping for the best, as the car we were driving was a 2010 Hyundai with 184,500 miles on it. Although we had taken care of it meticulously and my mechanic said it should be fine for the trip, he also mentioned that once we got there, it should stay there. About an hour from our Virginia overnight stop, the battery light appeared on the dashboard. Unsure of what this meant, we went to the nearest auto store, where they tested the battery and confirmed it was 100% charged. We decided to continue and address the issue after we reached the hotel, which was only an hour away. After getting back on I-95, about twenty minutes later, every light imaginable came on the dashboard, and I lost the power steering. Luckily, we were able to pull off the highway and park the car at an Exxon/Mobil gas station. At this point, we didn’t know what to do and decided to call a tow truck to take us to the nearest auto mechanic, even if it meant waiting until the next day or possibly Monday. Remember, it was Saturday, and by then it was 5:15 p.m., making the likelihood of finding a mechanic who could fix the situation unrealistic. My daughter began to cry, worried about her plans being delayed, the possibility that her car was dead forever, and the prospect of being stranded in Virginia. It was a mess, but as a loving father, I reassured her that a solution would eventually present itself and we needed to ride out this wave for now.

I had an awesome experience with this repair shop. Customer service was outstanding. Everyone was professional and very personable. From the time I had my insurance company tow my car. The tow driver was great, and very nice! The mechanics were very helpful and knowledgeable. What was awesome is that the goal was set to get me in and out the same day, and it was achieved!! It was a wonderfully smooth experience!
