This company is a complete joke and very shady! They towed my car after I was in an accident. For three days I tried to get my car and they told my they were closed (this was during the week). Eventually they said in order for them to release our car to the bodyshop I needed to come in and sign a release, but when I tried they said they were closed. Finally on the fourth day they said I needed to call 15 minutes before I arrived and someone would meet me. I was on my way and called and the woman said I didn’t need to sign anything. She said the other woman I spoke to gave me wrong information. Her only concern was who was paying the bill. I said it seems like you are trying to get extra days of storage so you get more money. The lady said, “why do you care? The insurance company is paying the bill.”
Avoid this place at all cost!!!!
Absolutely worst towing company!! If you have an option DO NOT CALL THEM! I called for an ETA and the lady told me "we don't have wings on the truck" and hung up the phone!!! WELL YOU WONT GET MY MONEY NEITHER!!
If I could give them 0 stars, I would! After the storm last night, I needed my car towed today. I called, the woman who answered was extremely rude. I asked if they had anyone available for a tow, and she rudely replied, "what do you want?" A TOW, exactly what I asked for!! When I gave her a location where my car was & the final destination, she scoffed and very condescendingly told me I would be paying a pretty penny for the short tow. Get real!!
Please do not use this tow service my son was in a car accident and was taken away by ambulance Portsmouth Police called Turner's towing service to to his vehicle the next morning he went out to get personal belongings from his Totaled Truck and everything was stolen out of his truck they are rip-offs and they are rude and they will be sued
I called to get a quote for a tow less then 5 miles and was told one price. Two days later when I called to arrange it I was told another price. When I said it was $25 less two days ago the reply back was, "not today!" RUDE! Congratulations, your price gouging and rude customer service (if you can even call it that) prompted me to call another company. I'm saving $55 because your rude nature prompted me to shop for alternative.....alternatives that turned out to be cheaper!! I'm a Portsmouth residence and I try to support our local small businesses, we need to let the rest of the Hampton Roads communities know that Portsmouth isn't as bad as people say it is, however it is poor customer service such as this that encourage such slander on our fair city. SHAPE UP, OR MOVE OUT!
