I see they were bombarded with 1star reviews in last week only lol. My company sent me there, i drive 53 foot semi-trailer. They solved my brake hose problem under an hour. They gave information before and after. Professional and courteous service, great experience overall. Highly recommend!

This is by far the worst repair shop I’ve ever dealt with. Their behavior was completely disrespectful, and the level of greed was disgusting. They tried to charge me an outrageous amount for no valid reason, and when I questioned it, their response was full of arrogance and clear racism. It’s obvious they take advantage of customers thinking they won’t understand the details. Honestly, they don’t even deserve one star. Avoid this place — there are far more honest and professional shops out there.
I wouldn't give any stars if I could, but know that this company does unauthorized work, charges exorbitant prices, and puts you in a loop! They are not experts in repairing any vehicles or trucks. Don't come or try to contact them, they are...scammers. they collect money for nothing. or they will damage your vehicle!!!!!
My band Cloud9 vibes are on tour currently and our harmonic balancer broke on the way to our first show. The amazing workers took care of us first thing in the morning and got us on the road in time to make our show saving our tour. Thank you!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting for some much-needed repairs on my diesel vehicle, and I must say, the experience exceeded all expectations.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. Caston at beach diesel repair was not only knowledgeable about diesel engines but also genuinely passionate about his work. Rick took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue and explain the repair process in a way that was easy for me to understand.
I was helped by Caston. He was very polite and helpful. He listened and communicated well and I was able to get everything I needed taken care of in a timely manner.
These guys helped me with a problem that no other Shop could figure out. They were amazing. Very timely. . They did not rush, Put my baby back on the road thank you for your guises help and I will tell you guys if you want the best diesel shop to go to check these guys out
I'm a new Rv'er and have no idea about the world of owning a RV. I purchased a used RV, and needed minor adjustments because it has been sitting for awhile. They could have taking advantage of me in so many ways, but instead took the time out to educate me on the what to expect and cost effective ways to handle all upcoming repairs.
They are small but in demand and waiting for professional quality service is to be expected. Thank you for your service, time and education.

These guys are crooks. Told me it was a new starter they were installing, turns out it was refurbished. After spending $1,750 2 weeks later it went out and my mechanic showed me what a new starter looks like.
If you call the mobile service they will tell you it has to get towed to the shop to be repaired just to get more money out of you.
I’ve called over 10 times , left numerous messages and still haven’t got a call back 13 months later.
Actually zero star , got to be the worst shop we had ever encountered, got ripped off 2700$ For a job that dealer charges 320$ , if you call them first time they are so nice and understanding, until they get ahold of the truck, they told us next morning they will have the parts and truck will be out of the shop as soon as the truck got in the shop , the story changed. Never got cursed so much in my life
Well the 2700$ for two coolant hoses was the cherry on the top , telling us if we don’t pay him he will damage the truck

This shop cost me $1000 and did not even work on my vehicle. Business has not brought money in - in 3 weeks. Complete staff quit.
Phone rang for 5 days straight no answer. Thought my vehicle was being held hostage.
Wasted $300 getting it towed here under a promise of Wed/Thursday review only to have to pick it up the following Wed for a tow to a new shop.

Beach diesel repair ruined our Allison transmission and refuses to take responsibility. When we came to them low on transmission fluid, the mechanic Cas didn’t even step inside our vehicle and gave us an unsealed, already-open bottle that DID NOT contain transmission fluid. They sold us a bottle of contaminated fluids that must’ve been used to dump junk fluid at one point. You can see the yellow photo pictured, which was drained from our transmission only 2 hours after Beach Diesel sold this to us, and watched us dump it inside our vehicle. Not only have they not refund us $90 for the original bottle of fluid, but they have already cost us over $3,000 in repairs, tows, diagnoses, parts and more. An Allison transmission specialist (who cost us an additional $450 today), explained that all damages incurred are a direct cause of this contaminated fluid from Beach Diesel and provided us codes which prove there to be no issues prior to this instance. The worst part is that Beach Diesel is blaming this on their manufacturer, after giving us an open bottle and then acknowledging the contaminant itself within our transmission. While we don’t believe this was intentional, and understand everyone makes mistakes… we can’t understand why after the mounting evidence they refuse to accept the damage caused or even apologize. We live full time in this vehicle and Beach Diesel has seriously hindered our way of life.
I brought my truck in to have rusted-out hose fittings/lines on my transmission replaced. They up-sold me on replacing front-end parts, which was fine. Happy with the work that they did.
When I drove to work the next day, an old, rusty transmission line next to the one they replaced leaked a small pond of fluid (I don’t know why it waited until the morning after their work to let loose).
I brought it in specifically to have the rusted transmission lines/fittings addressed and they were so focused on additional work (total 18 hours of labor at $125) they neglected the sole issue I brought the truck to them for.
To their credit, they offered to drive to me and help at no charge, but I declined any more of their help. My truck is stranded until the new lines come in —having someone else do the work.
Our truck wouldn't start! The battery was drained from the cold weather. The staff was friendly and patient they immediately assisted us... Rick came out and jump started us right away. He was very thorough and had a great personality!! I would definitely tell other drivers about Beach Diesel Repair...
I called these guys at 3:48 PM while on the road to fix my A/C. 5 pm and I’m headed out the door. The gentleman I spoke with was super friendly and eager to help. I pulled into the shop and they immediately went to work. I was sweating like a hostage and everyone wants an arm and leg to do the work. This place is fair priced and very friendly. I would recommend them to any driver looking for a mechanic that takes a “fair wage for a fair days labor”. Good service and good people. Thanks Beach Diesel.
Despite the COVID19 they had my truck for over 2 &1/2 weeks due to distancing their staff caused a delay on repairs..... they were reasonable and fair with the cost for I had my power steering pump replaced and the recommended tune up for my 04 Ford Diesel 7.3 power stroke turbo. The only negative thing I can say is that they’re poor on communication for I had to call them daily for the status of my truck. Hopefully my parts are covered under warranty for it was never stated on the final receipt.
We are back on the road again. We stayed over in Virginia Beach for a night after we ordered the air bag and had it shipped to Beach Diesel Repair. This was the only we 24 hour shop that answered their phone on a holiday weekend. I am praying you don't need any repairs but sometime we do. If you do, give them a call and get back on the road. I am posting their card. Friendly workers and staff.
Truly blessed to have found this shop when we had brake failure. Other mechanics in the area wouldn't even take a look for several weeks where as Beach Diesel had us back on the road in just a few days. The only downtime was waiting for parts which is very understandable. We were back on the road the same day parts arrived. Thank you for getting us home safe .
I haven't had any issues. I've never paid $250 for any oil change for a gas vehicle. First time I've had the oil changed on my diesel truck.
Nice people, but can't help but feel screwed over.

Poorest customer service ever received. No point in making an appointment -- time not kept. They actually caused more damage then was repaired. No communication with the customer even when sitting in the same room! Failure to follow-up, failure to predict deadlines, failure to manage work load. Failure to even mind their business while new customers were trying to get service! I watched as a potential customer came in, looked around (no one was in the office or shop) and left. Of course, my work was not being done either. My opinion is that if you are black you might have a better chance... but, not likely.
This is the worst repair shop in Hampton Roads. They are very unprofessional, and have no certified mechanics in the shop. I took my truck there for simple repairs. When i picked it up they led me to believe that the repairs were done. Two days later i took it back, because i was still having the same issues. They explained that i signed the paperwork and that i should have checked the truck out before i drove it off the lot. So they wanted to charge me another $2000 to fix the same problems that i just paid them to fix. The manager was rude and unprofessional. This company does not care about satisfying its customers or providing basic customer service. BUYER BEWARE.
