Took my car to get inspected and got charged 375 for a crossmember welding job to be done and to be honest the job was not done right where the welding didn’t take they put silicone and then sprayed to cover it! I called to say some to them got a nasty attitude with me about it so I won’t recommend to no one to go there if they are supposed to be professional
This place was absolutely amazing! Honest, reliable, timely, friendly, helpful, am all around highly pleased with their service!
My son hasn't had the best of luck lately with his (& mine) vehicles and has learned the hard way about putting too much oil in... as well as needing tower and also had a collision (other drivers fault)
And when modern automotive's repair estimate seemed to be a drastically overpriced estimate after some research, I called hometown who was also in shock at the estimated cost and quoted us almost $2k LESS than them.
They've been more than helpful with additional information, courtesy services and willingness to go the extra mile. Their genuine in their services. I don't write reviews for anyone EVER so this review alone speaks volumes.

Jason is amazing! He worked on two of my boyfriend’s cars and got them done quickly, efficiently, and at a more reasonable cost than any other local auto shop! Jason was so kind and helpful, very knowledgeable and genuine guy! I will be visiting again for any of my auto needs!
These guys are super nice and helpful. As a woman, sometimes going to see a mechanic is a not-so-wonderful experience. The guys at this shop spoke to me like a person and treated me very well.
Jason and his crew are to notch. Had my car in for a engine swap. 5 days start to finish with a weekend in between. Very fair prices and honest workmanship. Don't let the curb appearance sway you. They are legit!!
Three years ago, I had had some very bad experiences with mechanics and was truly frustrated that I did Not who to trust. I was pretty verbal about my frustration. Best shop in town. My Jeep started leaking oil like crazy after getting a recall repair done at Shelor, who swore up and down was not their fault and quoted $650 for parts and labor. Brought it in to Home Town Auto and explained the situation. They put it up on the lift and assessed the damage right then and there. Found the leak, assessed that Shelor was likely to blame for it and quoted me parts and labor for $450. They even brought me back and showed me the damage and why it looked like it had been done by the Shelor mechanic. They ordered the parts which took a few days to come in, but once it was in the shop it was fixed and running again in just a few hours. These guys are great. Super friendly and very skilled. Will be coming here for all of my mechanic needs from now on.
Great shop! Super easy to get along with. They are very knowledgeable on all makes and models. I will continue to use and recommend this shop! Oh and did it mention that they are very cost efficient?

After my insurance co. informed me that my car was totaled, I had my suspicions. They said the damage was worth $1,900.00. After bringing it to Home Town Auto, they fixed it for $450.00 and it drives like I first bought it. Thank you so much!
