Our driver arrived at almost the end of the shift, but they repaired the stop lights on our semi-trailer in no time. Mr. Jake was extremely helpful, kind, and full of understanding. The communication was very efficient. High recommendation for this team!

Brandon went above and beyond when a Transport van from Houston, full of rescue dogs being taken to their new homes, broke down in the middle of a winter storm. When 20+ other mechanics said no because of the weather, Brandon didn’t hesitate to help, ensuring even after the van was fixed, that the 2 drivers made it safely to their next destination. We are so grateful GOOD hearted people like Brandon exist!!! While transporting the 18 rescue dogs, our van had an issue with the radiator. After putting out an urgent plea for help and calling over 20 places, Brandon and Tannahill Truck and Bus Repair were the only ones to answer. Not only did he make the necessary repairs but he went out of his way in the inclement weather to follow the van to the repair shop to make our drivers and pups made it safely. We can’t thank him enough! If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would. His customer service was unmatched. He truly cares.
While I didn’t have service personally done by this company I do want to take a moment and put a great review for the service received by Ruffuge for their broken down van during the terrible weather. I along with several other people adopted dogs and Ruffuge was driving them all the way from Houston Texas to several northern states. Anyway the van broke down in Virginia and the girls driving along with the dogs were in a dire situation and cold. Brandon was the only person who took the call and braved the elements to check the problem and check on the girls and dogs. He did everything he could and helped them the best he could. On top of that he followed the van to make sure the girls and dogs made it to the mechanic safely.

When the Transport Van carrying my foster dogs and many others to their destination across the country broke down on 1/30/26 (leaky radiator) Brandon and Tannahill Truck and Bus Repair were the only ones to answer the urgent plea for help out of 20+ companies in the area that were contacted. Not only did Brandon agreed to provide much needed assistance and work on the issue but he went out of his way in the inclement weather to follow the van to the repair shop to make sure the female drivers and 18 rescue pups from South Texas made it safely. My vehicle was towed because I had a medical emergency and was in the hospital. The guy that helped me when I picked up my vehicle was very nice and courteous and wished me good luck on getting better. I was very thankful for what I was charged from the company. I talked with a gentleman a couple times on the phone and he was very courteous as well. I'm thinking he was the boss.
Last year, I sent a Freightliner Coronado Glider to Tannahill with a bad accessory drive on its Series 60 engine. Jake and team found a used one, swapped out the drive pulley, and got the truck back on the road in good time and for a very reasonable price. Today when a driver reported a coolant leak on his Cascadia, Jake got him right in and tightened a loose clamp, refusing to accept payment for the repair. Tannahill Truck and Bus Repair will always be my go-to shop along I-81 in Virginia!
I was issues with a eaton fuller 10 speed the crew at exit 109 went above and beyond getting me back on the road in a timely matter communicated with me every step of the way at reasonable price that was worth the work done on my truck jake and woody are excellent mechanics willing to take on whatever comes their way if you're in the area and having truck problems give these guys a call
Absolutely top notch shop. The gentlemen here got us taken care of and back on the road quickly and didn't break the bank. Had a power steering pump go out on my 3500. They normally work on big rigs but had me get into their shop and wasted no time getting me fixed up and back on the road. I highly recommend these guys for sure.
Freightliner/ Cascadia. Diesel Regen problem made engine locked at Rest area, Brennan came to check it. A big thumb up for him. Thank you for your help. I would recommend this service & shop to any truck owner.
This is the best radiator replacement workshop in the United States. I came within 1 hour, the guys changed the whole radiator, I was shocked. They work very professionally, quickly and cleanly, people know exactly what they are doing, God bless them
Great shop. Great people. And the boss is taking your situation into consideration. They get you back on the road as faster han you might think. I encourage you to go stop there for any issues as soon as you get a chance. Especially owner operators. They were the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!! They got me in and out in no time(flat tire) and I lost no time on clock. Staff couldn't be any nicer, go visit "molly" in office, cutest dog ever!!!
Very happy first time customer! Went in to have my oil changed and have them check out a suspicious noise. They were able to get me in quickly and took the time to explain that the noise was actually coming from my tires. (And didnt charge me to look into it) Ended up leaving with a new set of tires and an oil change at far less of a price than other local shops I’ve dealt with. Both technicians I dealt with as well as the shop foreman were super helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help us out. We’ll definitely be bringing our vehicles here from now on

Tannahill is a lighthouse in the storm. I've had the pleasure of experiencing Jake's and Sean's expertise. Truck was displaying multiple codes that didn't make sense. Jake began to troubleshoot and then called in Sean for an additional set of eyes. They were able to not only diagnose the problem harness but fix temporarily because the harness was specially made for each truck and had 6 week delivery time when it was ordered. Went back when the harness was ready and both visits were no stress no pressure all in my best interest. Stopped here because I noticed an exhaust leak, loss of boost. Pulled me right on in & found that my exhaust manifold was leaking within a matter of seconds . Decided to pass on repairs being that I was so close to home however I did ask what I owed & the owner refused to take any money from me & I asked 3 times ! Good people , will definitely consider this place for future repairs while traveling 81 . Good wholesome folks are definitely hard to come by especially in this industry . Thank you guys !

Such a blessing I found these gentlemen. I shut my truck down about 10 miles away the night before due to a coolant leak and google pointed me out to this shop with great reviews. The next morning I limped it to them, Mr. Tannahill pressure tested my reservoir right away and told me there was a truck ahead of me with radiator problems as well and as soon as they were done with it they pulled mine in. Prices were very reasonable and my personal mechanic back in Laredo agreed. It took them about 3-4 hours and I was back on the road. May God bless y’all and your shop guys! Thank you!
