JB came out on a Sunday to tow my daughter‘s car for me. He was fast, reliable and super sweet. He texted me to let me know that he dropped it off at the repair shop and that the keys were in the drop box! I highly recommend Mitchell’s towing!
Guy that came out was an absolute professional with great skills. Friendly guy. Got me out from the iced up snow my car was in. I drive a Corolla, so I probably would’ve lost a bumper or gotten stuck if I would’ve sent it through the iced up snow pile the plow trucks left behind my car. Now I can head home 12 hours South. 100% recommend!
I contacted Mitchell’s Towing late at night for a very minor relocation—my vehicle only needed to be pulled approximately three feet out of the roadway and into a safe position in front of my home. I was quoted $300 for this service.
According to typical Virginia towing rates, a short “hook and drop” or relocation tow is usually well under $100, even with after-hours charges. A $300 quote for a three-foot pull felt extremely excessive.
Because of the price, I declined service and had to shovel the vehicle out myself for over four hours overnight in hazardous weather. I strongly recommend getting multiple quotes.

Wowza! They were great! Hubby, who had traveled to Lynchburg for business, discovered a flat tire as he was walking to the car to drive to his office. He called me to take care of getting it towed while he called a taxi to get to the office. I called Michell's and instantly knew I was in good hands. They instantly texted me an invoice and link to pay online and within minutes of me making payment the tow truck was already in route. Super convenient since I was back home in Pennsylvania. We received excellent, speedy service and excellent communication from the office as well as from the tow truck driver. Thank you for making a lousy morning much easier.

A young man with a short beard came and helped us with a flat. He was there quickly, got the job done quickly and was very communicative. He even texted to remind us to drive slow with the donut since he forgot to tell us before he left, which we thought was very considerate. We really appreciated his help!
I had to have my car towed today to Apple Ford again. The driver was very courteous and helpful. He was very concerned about my issues. I hope not to need them again but I have actually saved the name and phone number to my contact list -I can go direct to them Instead of a third party which I feel overcharged me.
I was honored by having JB to help assist me with towing my vehicle. I ended up with a flat tire, and I thought I would be waiting forever. But WOWWWWWW JB showed up literally less than 10 mins once he was assigned to me. I've had many tows done before, but this is the only one I left a review on. Car cut out on me flashing lights everywhere on the dashboard. Managed to pull over off the road. Googled local towing service and Mitchell's came up with good reviews so I called them. They got down to business to help me get on my way quickly. Took my information and had someone out to me and maybe 10-15 minutes. Bob was very professional. Very easy going. And hooked up my car and towed it in short time. He is personally affable and experienced in his position. We made it back home with no incidents and he managed to park my car in my very narrow driveway with ease. The price was very reasonable for the distance covered and in the future if I'm ever in need again I would not hesitate to call them. Five out of five for Price, customer service and overall experience.
This company is more than a tow and recovery company. They really do care about you and making sure all of your needs are met. If it’s a tow or some friendly advice they are the ones to call. Awesome people
JB came out and got to me fast after a run in with a bolt on the expressway. I placed the claim through the insurance app on my phone and they gave me an estimated time of 40-70 mins. I received a call from JB shortly after saying he was on his way and his eta was 6 mins. The process was easy and seamless and JB was very helpful and got me back on the road fast! Highly recommend!

They did an awesome job! Their response time was excellent! I requested a tow but Driver recommended attempting to jump with his jump box and it started right up. I had already left but he waited there for me to return while my vehicle was running. He was very friendly and professional! Well done!

My car’s whole wheel and fixture detached the night before Labor Day. Despite the night and holiday, the operator was at my location within 20 minutes of my request. The situation was tricky, but with some cautious brainstorming and the grace of God, he got my car safely onto and off of the truck. He seemed to genuinely care about not causing further damage (something I’m not familiar with from tow operators up north) and was very careful and patient. I really appreciate the positive experience in a stressful situation.
My tire was about to blowout, so my insurance company sent Mitchell's out to tow my car to the shop. The insurance gave an ETA of 1 hour. Mitchell's arrived in 15 minutes & even dropped off my daughter and I at our house before taking my car to the shop! The attendant (Mark) communicated well and was great to work with. He asked if we could try something I had already tried and didn't demand which was nice. In the end he saved me a tow trip as the vehicle started which allowed me to find out if it was the battery. Great service all around.
While trying to avoid a collision during a turn, I had a tire sliced by a city sewer drain. It was along side a curb. Our insurance covers towing for roadside assistance. Mark from Mitchell’s Towing was fast to the scene, and even faster to load up! Highly recommend Mitchell’s Towing!

Out for a nice Sunday morning drive in my 1958 Devin MG, and a loud bang followed by puffs of white smoke brought the joyride to an end!. Out in the middle of nowhere, but called Mitchell towing, and Mark was there as soon as could be expected. Loaded up the car, and took it back to my garage for unloading. Very professional, great equipment, and handled my rare car with no issues. Would definitely recommend, and should I ever find myself in a position of needing a tow again, will definitely call mark and Mitchell!
