HORRIBLE PLACE OF BUSINESS, $1200 for a tow, on top of that they charge me 1950$ to have my truck fixed for a coolant leak. Called earlier in the day to verify the truck’s good to go.I fly out from Texas to pick up the truck just for the truck to not even turn on. And now that wanna charge another 500$ to check the truck out and jumpstart it. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVER
This company should not exist, they towed my pop up trailer and took it for 2 days and charged me $930, apparently because they took a big truck, they go overboard with their prices, they shouldn't be like this with their prices, we all know how hard it is to make money, I wanted to leave the pop up trailer but I didn't do it because of my children, they took my salary, they left my 3 children without food that week, I lent money for my expenses, they really go overboard, they took my trailer on Monday at 10 am and I picked it up on Tuesday at 9 at night and they charged me for 2 days according to how they charge every 12 hours They go overboard with people

If I could give zero stars, I would. We used Roadrunner Towing after my husband’s accident, and when they dropped the vehicle back at our home for the insurance company, their driver severely damaged our driveway. There are multiple deep gouges and markings where the car was improperly released, leaving our driveway torn up.
When we contacted the manager, Chris, to resolve the issue, he was extremely rude and dismissive. Despite clear evidence that the damage was caused by their driver, he refused to take any responsibility or offer any solution.
This company not only caused property damage but also showed a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. I would strongly caution anyone considering using them—if something goes wrong, don’t expect them to stand behind their work.
Had to get my 13,000lbs service truck towed from my house in Winchester to my neighbors shop in Purcellville due to it not being able to start up.
Michael came out and did an amazing job hooking up my truck!! My driveway has a slope on it which makes the truck lower to the ground I was going to get a jack to help lift it up so he could get the arm underneath of it, but he came in and maneuvered his truck like a professional driver and got it in one go!! He was very respectful of my truck and of me asking questions. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! using road runner wrecker service and asking for Michael for all your towing needs. I will definitely be using them more in the future.

Impounded my car while the parking pass was in it. It was either hanging and they put it on the floor, or it fell and should have been visible if they cared at all. They just want to extort people out of money and charged me $300 for all of this. All while I had to go 25 minutes away from my home, and wait for 45 minutes for them to let me have my car that they towed from my house.
Companies like this are a net negative on society and the world would be a better place without them
Contracted with progressive, gave me a tow back to Charles Town after my alternator went out on a drive home from ocean city. The tow truck driver was incredibly kind, efficient and helpful with all of the details of the tow. I appreciated his patience and professionalism to get my car home quickly and safely. Highly recommend.
Editing to add I believe the driver was Mike from the Leesburg location … I read reviews while waiting .. Mike was nothing short of intelligent, knowledgeable and extremely professional. It hurts me to see someone’s review citing otherwise - because it is not the case. Towing companies are doing their jobs based off of a contract in place with a management company.. if your car was towed you clearly parked somewhere you shouldn’t have! Just saying!
Had them come out to help with my flat tire. They were able to give me advice as I had lost my key to remove my tire lock. I believe my technicians name was Javier, not 100% sure. They came in a timely manner. He was great thanks so much! Would recommend them.
Road Runner's driver Michael is a pro. My car wouldn't start, it was on an incline, our driveway is tight, we're on a gravel road with pot holes, the car is all-wheel drive so he had to use dollys on the back wheels, then the mechanics parking lot was full too, so parking was tight. Michael had no problem picking it up or dropping it off. He made it look easy. Great job! Thanks again!
Matt needs better training, he doesn't know how to scoop and squat or quick pick very well. Either extremely lazy or just really bad at his job, and there is no question that he is a low performing employee., I'm not sure you can help his emotional intelligence, which is very low, that comes from personal development. He likes to quick pick cars then he parks the roadrunner rig illegally and block other streets - completely not allowing traffic to pass through streets. He thinks he doesn't have to follow traffic laws, in a company vehicle because he tows cars that are parked in a fire lane. You need to really help Matt understand how to do the job better, he is a liability the way he doesn't follow traffic laws.
Incredibly impressed by one of your employees (Michael). I lost the keys to my car like an idiot and needed it towed to the Mercedes dealership in Tysons corner. Michael was able to park it in a spot the size of a pinhole flawlessly. He took his time and care in strapping it up and I genuinely appreciate him for this level of service . My car was towed because I was rear ended two days later I go to gather belongings and their employees stole over 1100 dollars worth of items from my car. I had to call the police on this company.
They open my car they took my items very bad drivers i lost so many things. Last Friday they tower my car i pay 495.00 dollar some my items i find outside they take my Gold, my lunch bag,potato fries smell oven, new different country flags,new shoes, very bad i call customer service the not happy when i tell them. That is not good if you have open look .and the windows button breaks what that bad driver how can he open my car? You people's the next customer they do like this your Company is closed.
Same as the other Tesla drivers mentioned the wait time is horrible. I expressed my concern about the company’s service with Tesla recommending that they remove them as one of the providers. The customer service at this company was equally horrible. The rep. Courtney had the absolutely nastiest attitude around. Because of the wait time and her attitude I would never use this company nor recommend them.
Bar none, best tow experience. Ronnie took great care in backing out my Porshe Boxster S from a tight spot in our garage. He demonstrated proficiency with the vehicle's placement on dollies before the lift, securely fastening ties before the tow to InterSport in Ashburn. A well-deserved 5 star rating!
I went out to do an estimate at a location on a farm outside Leesburg. The long and windy driveway was very icy from compacted snow and my truck did not make it up the hill. I parked it and went In for the meeting. When I came back out, it had slid down the hill off the driveway into the woods. Road Runner sent out Michael, who did a fantastic job dealing with the treacherous conditions and avoiding getting stuck himself, as he almost did. He was able to winch my truck out without any damage. He was great to work with. Thanks to RoadRunner for doing a job that AAA wouldn’t do.
The absolute worst experience with them as Tesla subcontractors. Waited over 3.5 hours for them to come out and give multiple excuses (the truck that was headed your way broke, we had to salt roads, oh so many flat tires today, …meanwhile the excuses they gave Tesla were completely different - they were picking up spare Tesla wheels for flats, which btw they did not bring for my car for some fun reason) all while the tracking showed their vehicle DID NOT move from the same location for over TWO HOURS. They either lack the resources to actually meet the terms of their contract with Tesla and/or are mismanaged by unqualified dispatchers and coordinators - clearly a company that’s taken on more than they can actually deliver. The tow truck driver was very courteous and professional. I hope I never need roadside assistance again but if I do I’ll be sure to never go with this company.

The service provided by the mechanic was great. The guy came on time and got our guy up and running quickly which we appreciated. What we didn’t appreciate was the dishonesty when it came to the cost. Claudia miscommunicated about the $120 call out fee. We were under the impression that the $120 fee would not be charged if the work was done by road runner as they charge a 2 hr minimum at a hefty 140/hr. Claudia confirmed this. When we received the bill and noticed we were charged the $120, we contacted them and Claudia switched up her story saying she didn’t confirm that. We asked to speak to a manager. The manager was supposed to call back that Friday which he never did. I called back on Monday to follow up spoke to the manager. The manager did nothing to resolve the matter. He did admit that Claudia confirmed that the fee would be deducted, but claimed that she didn’t understand what she was confirming. As a business one would think the manager would want to resolve this especially if the customer was given false information. Nope! That’s not what he did. I also mentioned that the mechanic was there for less than 20 minutes to jump the tractor hoping to get a resolution and a refund for the $120, but he took that as me “downplaying” their work and said “it was pay day” for them. We definitely will not be using them again.
A big shoutout to Michael for coming to my home and picking up my three vehicles that were damaged by the hurricane. He was extremely courteous and efficient, making the process quick and easy. His expert driving skills were evident as he navigated the truck with precision. His professionalism and expertise were truly commendable.

Road runner towed my Genesis SUV on the morning of Aug 10th. They damaged my vehicle by scratching the rear corner bumper and rear mud guards. Upon reaching out to Johnnie (manager), they refused to acknowledge that they damaged the car and refuse to repair it. I give Road Runner ownership 1 week to reach out to me to arrange to repair my vehicle otherwise we will 100% see you in Small Claims Court.
This was the best towing experience I’ve ever had despite all the inconvenience of getting a flat tire! Michael was super efficient and courteous. He helpfully answered mine and the insurance company’s calls to change where I wanted my car towed to, and he showed up promptly to get my car ready to go in just a few minutes. I couldn’t be more relieved to have worked with this towing company. They made being stuck on the road almost a pleasant experience!!
Excellent tow service experience, from start to finish. Called to schedule a pickup of my vehicle to be delivered to a nearby mechanic shop the following day, and the call center associate I spoke with was very courteous and efficient in getting the appointment booked. She told me I would receive a phone call from the driver shortly before arrival the next day. Sure enough, the next morning I received a phone call from the driver, Cash, who was very punctual and arrived ahead of schedule. Cash was a delight to work with—he was very friendly and helpful, and took excellent care of my vehicle through the process of pickup- transport- drop-off. Huge thank you to Cash and the Road Runner team for delivering such an easy, reliable, and seamless towing service! I will 100% recommend Road Runner to anyone in need of a lift.
