Overall great experience. It was my first time going there and they were able to get me in at time that was convenient to me. They were also able to perform the task in half the time which saved me a lot of money. I’ll definitely going back.
The work was done promptly. The needed repairs were pointed out to me alone with additional recommendations for the well maintenance of my vehicle.

Went to Andy's about 9:00 to get annual Safety Inspection for my Lexus. Lot was over flowing; had to park on the street; figured a week delay, but I was scheduled for 4:00 that afternoon. $20 state regulated fee, $10 - 4 lightbulbs where I wasn't ajuiware there were lights, $1.50 misc fees, taxes, etc. $Tot less than $32. free service: I had neglected to reinstall battery hold-down clamp - they replaced it. free advice: leaking valve cover, power steering low - leak, if any, concealed by valve cover leak. Two items to monitor, replenish as necessary, repair if severe.
I was really surprised to get worked in that quickly. Andy seems to have a good handle on job timing and he's got a good crew doing the work.
After buying my truck it spent 4 consecutive months in 2 other shops with a "needle in a haystack" problem. Andys shop shouldve been my first stop. The patience and tenacity chasing this problem i can't commend enough. 10000/10 can't thank them enough. Great people, great mechanics, great shop!
I brought my truck to Andy’s Automotive & Transmission with transmission and brake issues. Andy and his team did an outstanding job of working me into their busy schedule for the following day when I called to tell them my truck needed repairs. With very reasonable prices and great service from this team, I will recommend Andy and his crew to anyone who is looking for minor and/or major work done to their vehicles. Andy even took me down the road and back to pay for my lunch while the truck was getting fixed rather than letting me sit hungry in the waiting room during lunchtime! Andy’s auto is the best in Virginia in my opinion. Andy is the most knowledgeable person I’ve ever met. His whole team knows exactly what they are doing. I’ve had to bring my car into Andy’s auto because the car max auto team had ruined my car when they “fixed it”. Andy took care of me and does very fair prices!
ANDY'S recently looked at my car for me and even though we opted to bring it home to fix it he was very honest and his price was very fair but it was something my husband was able to do... he also didn't charge me the full $120 to look at it which I would have had zero issues with paying and only charged me $96... my husband was very impressed with the owner and sat and talked to him for a little while! My husband said that he was very honest about my vehicle and didn't try to push for us to have him do the repairs and even gave pointers of things we could do ourselves as well to help my vehicle run better... Definitely a 10 out of 10 in our book he will be our permanent guy from here on out!
Andy and his staff go above and beyond to make sure your car is repaired properly at a very good price! I have been using Andy for close to 20 years. I have tried other places in a pinch and NONE compare. 12-13-19 What a day and it was Andy to the rescue. Car was dead when I left the grocery store. The end of a cold rainy day and I called Andy's and he personally came and got me back to his shop for a quick repair! He charged a more then reasonable price for quickly diagnosed problem. Andy's NEVER takes advantage and they certainly could have in this situation. Andy's to the rescue....THANKS 12-15-2021 Yet again Team Andy surpassed my expectations! I just changed jobs and could not come until 3pm or after and need my car inspected. They did it at 3pm and I was out of there and on my way in no time! Thanks everyone
I have been using Andy's automotive as my mechanic for years now and they have always gotten the job done well and gone the extra mile no matter what crazy thing I threw their way.
This time was no exception.
The difference this time is that I did not know what was wrong and only had guesses.
Rather than just doing the work I thought needed doing they found the actual problem and took care of that. The actual problem was about $2,000 cheaper to fix than what I thought it was.
Then, if that wasn't enough, they tweaked the truck and it now runs better than it ever has.
Just the parts would have cost me more than this did and who knows how much of my already scarce time would be gone.
This is the place for a job done right by people who care.
