Good bargains always something new so if you see something today you better get it today because they always getting new stuff when its gone its gone no guaranteed that they'll get it back
I would like to remind people that are bitchen about exspired expired Foods but this is a salvage born the name says Salvage there are plenty of things in the store that do not expire so if you're looking for food that has not expired maybe this is not the place for you go to Walmart again read the name of the store Salvage look up what salvage means I personally love this store like I said they have all kinds of things that do not expire
I love saving coins, so this place is exciting every time I shop there, which is often. I usually find great deals on non-perishable items like hair products, personal items, socks, canned foods, raisins, condiments, chips, juices and the occasional cookware. There is also a lawn and garden section full of discounted items as well. Check your dates.
As soon as I get in there it was great they had a little bit of everything and I bought a beef stick and when I got home I realized that it expired February 26th it is now July 10th
Some good, some mediocre. If prices were better, they would have better turn over. Trying to get close to retail on salvage goods is counter productive. They could be moving pallets instead of individual cans or boxes of items. Turnover would bring more profitability. I don't go out of my way to shop there because of that. If I'm in the area, I stop in to see if there's any worth the effort. They could be pulling in greater traffic with the right pricing.
Great place to find goodies! And the help was amazing, this new employee (young handsome fellow) helped me find the oreos I was looking for. Definitely coming back again!
Sometimes you can find very good deals, however, you can find many items cheaper at a regular grocery store. Years ago this was the go to store to find very good deals. I can say the cashiers are very friendly and helpful. As a salvage store, the owners need to be mindful of pricing, especially in this economy.
When i went things looked unorganized and unstalked, but it is a great place to go. My mum has been to a salvage place before, and she said this place is a whole lot better. i guess she was expecting dented cans and what not, but nothing was dented it was all in good shape. i even found a high end conditioner for half the price that originally sold at Macy's.
The thrill of the hunt! I always find something I need or want at a great price. They always have food items, household, tools, paint and supplies, and a large selection of decorative garden flags. Stock changes all the time of course since this is a salvage store. They keep stock neat and prices well marked. I bought a really great pair of mechanics gloves for $6 on my last visit.
When in here to shop for some deals. You can go in here they have all kinds of things in here at pretty decent prices. But make sure you check the dates if you're buying food cuz there is some of that stuff that is expired. I'm going to recommend this store most definitely
Hidden gems ,good prices. they have from candy to all types of household-items. just make sure that you watch the dates. Yes, some items are over the due date, but you make that decision.
I would leave a good review. However, the fact that they don't have a restroom for paying customers is ridiculous. The selection of items that are discounted well is about fifty percent. The rest of the stuff It's the same price that you can find at walmart Or food lion. I'm so upset that they would not let my wife use the restroom that I probably will not return here and I won't suggest others Shop here. You lost money Because I could not finish shopping and for a business That is not very smart.
Interesting place with lots of Interesting things--none of which I could use. I wound up buying two pool noodles and some salad forks, grand total $3.98.
It's not worth going into that store. But only if need some items for your kitchen or you can browse through the store. The prices are reasonable but just make sure you view the Expiration date on the food items.
I love this store !! The prices are a steal and even if canned goods are expired or getting ready to expire, they are good for another few years . Love this place!
This Place, Is always a Joy to Shop at. Great Prices. Wayne the Manager/Owner. Is a Super Nice Man. His staff, ALL of them , Very Good People. It's worth the Trip from Chester, ENON AREA.
Had a great shopping experience at N&W Salvage. They had exactly what I came for (Nuggies beef dog treats) as well as so many other useful items at discounted prices. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The store was clean and tidy with easy to read sticker prices and ample parking.
I have a lot of good memories of this place, its been around for at least a couple decades probably longer. Always getting new products and the deals are excellent
My brother and I come here at least once a month. They have so many things and they are at a great price. We love it. We buy mainly food but the products they have are endless, from painting and building things to food and clothing. I highly recommend this place if your looking for somewhere to buy cheap things that are legitimate and not spoiled.
Selection of items is always good for a great price. But there is one old cashier that always had an attitude I was checking out and she sat my bag on the floor and proceeded to just drop my things in the bag. I ask could she not do it and if she could replace my plastic spoons cause they might have cracked from the drop. She called for somebody else to do it. I spoke with the manager and she told me “It’s not glass” like it’s ok to drop them in the bag. The ignorance level of the “general manager “ as she said she was. I don’t care if it was cotton balls don’t drop my stuff in a bag place them.
Small and crowded and cramped with EXCELLENT money saving deals!!! I love this place...I dislike the size of it, that it gets very crowded and it's hard to maneuver a shopping cart in there on busy days, and people kind of "push" you when you are looking, trying to decided if you want to buy something, but I CANNOT rate it under 5 stars, it is really THAT good! Highly recommend, go on a weekday if possible to avoid crowds. A local landmark that we are grateful for!!!
Love this store! I found so many household items for 1/4 of the store price. Lots of variety as well. Friendly staff and fast service! Always worth the stop. Something for everyone! Clean and well stocked!
Great prices. Friendly staff. They don't have a standard inventory, so the products are always slightly different. That's good for variety, but sucks when you want to go back for something specific. You do have to check and make sure that perishable items aren't expired...if that's something that bothers you.
Great place to go to find a variety of things. All the staff was polite and we didn't have any issues. However, keep in mind the type of place when buying food. They had a lot of expired things (still okay to eat, just not my preference). If that's your thing, their prices can't be beat. We got a soft shotgun case for $15 and various food things and our total wasn't much over $30. Definitely a place worthy of a stop. We will be back next time we're in town!
