We broke down at the rest area on I95 in Ladysmith and requested a tow through AAA. The truck arrived in a reasonable time and the crew was very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and treated my truck as if it were their own. They towed us all the way to Hampton which was around 100 miles and although it was a long trip, we enjoyed the conversation and story telling and before we knew it, we were home. Once there, the driver was able to maneuver his truck in such a way as to get my vehicle unloaded into a very tight and challenging parking spot in our community. Nobody ever wants to break down and have to be towed, but I must say the whole experience seemed almost enjoyable because of the friendliness of this company. Way to go Back Roads! 👍
My husband, our Husky Simba, and I were stranded in a plaza and had a great experience with this team. Heather, the dispatcher, called first and was very kind and professional. She gathered the needed information and explained what to expect.
Ski and Olivia arrived shortly after and were friendly, professional, and reassuring. They carefully loaded our car onto the flatbed and safely towed it to our home. We truly appreciated their help and would definitely call them again if needed.

Top notch is an understatement. On a Sunday they made it happen, fair price, no maybes, just robotic service. They explained their capabilities, gave a solution, and executed.

Backroads towing came and picked up my little commuter car that broke down on my way to Richmond. It was a 19.8 mile tow, they charged me 200$ to tow it to my residence. They did not give me a hard time about not being with the vehicle , they let me pay over the phone, and they delivered it to my rural residence exactly where I asked them to put it (not the easiest house to find, nor property to navigate.) nobody was home when they delivered the vehicle and still they did things exactly as discussed (and we only discussed this briefly on the phone, wasn’t like we mapped out exact arrangements.) Honestly & truly recommend them to anyone. Moving forward, me&my family will call them FIRST when in need of a tow. I don’t often leave reviews, but it’s refreshing to deal with some folk with common sense and integrity. Thank you, Job well done. Priced as quoted and delivered where discussed. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

Back Roads Towing came all the way to West Virginia in the middle of the night and picked up my chip truck. They were pnomonial and I highly recommend there company.
