On Jan 5, I was passing through Wakefield, just me and my dog, on my way to North Carolina when all of a sudden I received a low tire air notification on my car dash. I stopped at a 7eleven and put air in all four of my tires, hoping that would satisfy the error message. Typically, my husband would help me with things of this nature, but he wasn’t with me on my travels this time. It was a Sunday and most of the places I was passing were closed. I happened upon the Van Cleef auto store and noticed a truck parked out front so I took my chances and stopped with hopes that someone was there and could check my car out for me. Thankfully Wendy and her husband were there, they are the owners and had just stopped by after church to prepare the shop for the upcoming freezing weather overnight. They were extremely kind, and her husband, still dressed in his church clothes, checked all my tires and added additional air to both of the front tires they were apparently still low. In this day and time, you don’t always happen upon kind people who are willing to help. But I was so thankful that this kind couple was there to assist me and ensure I got to my destination safely. Thank again for your kindness and happy new year to you both.
I stopped in on Friday during tropical storm Ophelia when my windshield wipers wouldn't work. Asked the gentleman if he could help. He let me know he wasn't a mechanic in a "duh lady" kind of tone. I asked him if he could help me with a fuse. He let me know he didn't know where the fuses are in my car. I have a tall car that I can't see under the hood of, so I was thinking perhaps I could get my book out and the tall man could help me look. But he refused. So at almost 5pm on a Friday in a tropical storm, he wouldn't help. Regardless of my husband's knowledge of cars, he would never let a woman walk out of a place like that without offering some form of assistance. So I risked going across the street through my water covered windshield and made it to Britt's Service Center where they promptly pulled me inside and changed my fuse. I wouldn't buy a fuse from this NAPA if it was the last one in three counties.

First time at this NAPA store. Fast, courteous, friendly service. Purchased wiper blades, and they were kind enough to put them on for us. Plan to return soon for other car needs/service.
Got me in, got my inspection, and got me out. This is a great home town establishment and with very personable and knowledgeable staff. You can't ask for any better. Thanks again for all tour help.
