I drive an ID.4 AWD. Around 80K miles my range dropped 70+ miles overnight right after an error saying “some electrical function not functioning properly.” Dealer replaced single cells twice — zero change. Now Volkswagen (NA HQ Reston) calls it “normal degradation.” That’s nonsense. Real battery wear is gradual — this was a sudden failure that started well within VW’s 100K warranty. They just shrugged and sent me off. My friend’s Tesla had the same issue — Tesla replaced the whole pack instantly. VW? Blame and denial. Anyone buying an ID.4, beware — you’re on your own when the battery fails. Look at those pictures and imagine getting yourself kicked outta there well within warranty, they (HQ Reston) have no valid reason to give me and just hiding their faces behind dealerships and dealerships simply say sorry its HQ and not us.. simple as that and u r left in the middle of no where
I had a great experience at Stohlman Volkswagen, after being in a car accident and losing my previous vehicle, I was really stressed about finding a replacement. Thankfully, Mujeebur, my sales consultant, went above and beyond to help me through the entire process. He was kind, patient, and really cared about finding the right car for me. Nasir, the sales manager, was also super helpful and understanding. He made sure everything went smoothly and worked with me to get the best deal possible. Both Mujeebur and Nasir turned a difficult situation into a positive and easy experience. I couldn’t be happier with my new car and the excellent service they provided. I drive 25 minutes out of my way to take my Volkswagen to Stohlman because the people are the best, they don’t overcharge, and they take good care of the customer. I worked with Kaylee who went far above and beyond to get me back on the road quickly, and even had the car looking nice and shiny when I picked it up the next morning!

We decided to look at VW dealerships further from home and it was well worth the drive! They gave us top dollar for our trade it, great rebates and discounts on our new 2025 Atlas and did a majority of our deal virtually. Actually, just deleted my old review for this dealership. I bought a car here a couple years ago and it was an amazing experience and I just decided to try to get an atlas today Unfortunately, they have changed A lot they offered me $10,000 less than six other dealerships on my trade-in When I saw the price sheet, it did not reflect the price on the website for the Atlas, and when I asked about it, I was told Actually included a ceramic coating(Which was not listed anywhere or did I say that I wanted it?) I got to send a second price sheet and it still did not reflect the number on the website (The website Says 42,000. The price sheet says 48 and the rebate takes it to 45) I was really hoping to have another great experience, but unfortunately, you have lost a return customer
I trust the service department. We’ve been having Subaru Outback, serviced by You for 15 years.
The only problem is this: I had four new tires, a new battery, and major routine maintenance done for $2500 this past week and this morning my car was stolen. It only had 42,000 miles on it and was in great shape.
I visited their office, all team members were so professional and well experienced.
The greeting was friendly & very professional.
They walk you through the process and give you full instructions, later one of the assigned staff members is checking your car and explains about the issue/ problem.

I was extremely happy with my service advisor Kaylee Anderson. She was so helpful And had my car ready as promised. And she did it all with a wonderful personality and with great customer service. I wish there was more service advisors like this out there.
I bought my car from CarMax, but had this dealer install a hitch receiver. The team is eager to help and make check-in and status updates as smooth as possible.
I wish there was a little more clarity on the part options and pricing. I got quoted a different price over the phone than what I agreed to in-person. It ended up being a 33% difference. I thought the initial quote sounded too low. I don’t blame anyone, but I would be nice if I could actually look a parts list and see the pricing.
Overall, they did a great job with the install. I am happy that I got the true Subarud hitch installed because the UHaul hitch options are not very attractive and don’t blend with the car.
I came in late Monday evening to purchase a VW Taos. Saaman made the process simple and pleasant with Nasir and Mustafa finalizing the process quickly and painlessly. The process was so smooth and good that I feel like I made new friends. Thank you! The car is great! Highly recommended.

Had service completed on my vehicle this week. After the fact noticed I was charged multiple 3% credit card processing fees for a total of $22.19. Called for an explanation and was told it was posted near each desk when you checked in. I was told it wasn't really that amount because I was given a 10% discount for booking online. While the discount offsets part of the fees it's still money that I could have kept in my pocket. Don't appreciate the attempted insult to my intelligence. I was pleased with the service, otherwise. The service people were polite and professional.
I will write a separate review for my car shopping experience that was positive.
Carlos was wonderful at communicating with me efficiently. He was upfront about the work that would be required, answered my questions about options I could take and only proceeded with a solution once he got my approval to do so.
I loved getting the video of the diagnostic. Daryl was also kind enough to show me where and what the issue was in person when I asked.
I could not complete work at the initial visit and thankfully they were able to support me with a temporary solution of my choosing that allowed me to get my car off of the lot safely until I can come back.
It was a joy working with Carlos and Daryl.
Had my first maintenance service for my Subaru and it was a smooth, hassle-free experience. The staff were friendly, professional, and explained everything clearly. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and the service was completed on time. Appreciate the great customer care—looking forward to coming back for future visits!
I’ve gotta say I’ve been to many dealerships over the last 20 plus years and the experience I had with Mike Norkus was incredible. I must preface with I was not the most forthcoming customer. I only gave him my first name, and I didn’t give him any contact info, but he still had an amazing attitude and answered every I had about the Atlas. I felt compelled to submit this review a month later after an absolutely awful experience I had at competing dealer. If I decide on the Atlas over other models Mr Norkus will definitely be getting my business!!
Kaylee Anderson was very helpful. Staff is always great. It's my third Volkswagen Golf that Stohlman has been taken care of and never disappoint!

Overall a good experience that could have been exceptional with a few minor tweaks. I hoped to finalize the deal virtually, but the dealership wasted a bit of time trying the old tactic of insisting I come into the dealership “to get their best price”. It was more aggravating than anything else & ultimately I got the vehicle at the price I wanted, but it could have gone smoother. The staff of friendly & helpful, my salesman Anthony did a great job!!
We LOVE the outstanding customer service experience we received from Carlos at Subaru Stolhman. The oil light came on right before our trip. Carlos managed to squeeze us in his busy Friday schedule, took care of everything and helped us safely enjoy our trip. Carlos’s professionalism, excellent communication skills and readiness to come to the rescue whenever we need help make us buy one Subaru after another.
Mike Norkus was awesome! He helped me every step of the way with my new car purchase. He was very patient, honest, knowledgeable, and was very fun to talk to! He kept me posted with everything involving the car as I live an hour and a half away, but he still took care of me making me feel happy with my purchase. Recently bought a used 2023 Golf R at Stohlman VW. The customer service was great. It’s cool that they don’t have pushy tactics. Of course the finance guy has to try to upsell something but that’s par for the course in dealerships and not a bad thing. It’s a business. I took a risk and bought an as-is APR tuned mk8 6mt Golf R and things have been so far so good. Anthony was my salesman. Cool dude. Generally a pleasant car buying experience. For the right deal I’d purchase there again. Thumbs up to the crew there. Anthony still owes me $1000 for taking the “I got a car at stohlman auto” picture.

My salesman Mr.Saaman Ali was wonderful! What a difference to my previous car buying experiences. At no time did I get the pressure to buy - instead he was more concerned with making sure I was comfortable with the Atlas. He answered all my questions (even after the purchase) and showed me all the new features in the SUV.
The rest of the staff was so nice and polite - asking if I needed anything, making the actual buying part of the process so stress free. What a great team! I felt like I had made new friends, and that I could reach out to any of them if I needed to.

Dynamic and flexible, knowledgeable and helpful, naturally intuitive and well prepared with detailed technical information that helped us make a decision in two days.
