Be careful with this "so-called legit business"! I'm sharing the shady experience I had with this company. I called to get an offer on my car, and someone from a call center with a thick foreign accent answered—sounding just like one of those overseas scam calls about unpaid taxes. He gave me an offer, but I hung up. After that, I went to their website and filled out their online form. Later, I received a text message asking again for details about the car I had already provided in the form, about five or six questions. I answered all of them again, and they told me to send my address so a dispatcher could call to schedule an appointment. I was already feeling uneasy, so I texted back saying I’d prefer to drop off the car at their Fairfax location on Prosperity Ave. Strangely, after I mentioned dropping off the car myself, they completely disappeared. No response, no follow-up call nothing. It felt like the moment I offered to bring the car to their supposed location, they lost interest in buying my car. They went from insisting so much about my car (almost felt harassed) to zero contact. This was a huge red flag for me! Since this whole situation seemed suspicious, I decided to check if they were actually a registered company. I went to the Virginia State Corporation Commission (SCC) website to search for their business name, and guess what?! They’re not even registered.
