Today during rush hour in downtown DC my transmission stopped transmitting. Shawn sent a flatbed l over and loaded me up in minutes in a congested area, took me to a repair shop of my choice. Kwand came to our rescue. I had a screw in the rear driver's side tire. A medical situation left me without being able to change the tire. Rwanda flatbedded the vehicle to the dealership - nice guy, pleasent and very competent.
Friendly service from the first call. Things went from bad (completely blown tire) to worse (couldn't get the tire off to put on spare) very quick. But Kelton, tow driver was very polite and very patient. He made a very horrible issue, easy.
Very fast service- Kelton kept in communication the entire time, listened to me whine as we battled the surrounding drivers that were frustrated with us in the parking lot, let me charge my phone and kept me calm as the uber arrived.
I 1000% recommend Advanced Towing and wish I could give Kelton six stars!!!
Shawn was very courteous and even provided me with a discount after I was initially charged $325 for a flatbed tow. With the discount, the total came to $285 for an 18-mile tow. One thing to keep in mind—be sure to ask for a quote upfront, as pricing details were not disclosed beforehand. Was I overcharged?
Kelton was the man! Came super fast through all the traffic on 495 around Tyson’s during rush hour and got me and my truck out of there asap. Super impressed with the care he provided my vehicle, his professionalism and obvious skill at the trade. Rode in his tow truck back to my destination and it was very clean also. Needing an emergency tow is never a good situation, but now I know that this is the company to call thanks to Kelton!
This company engaged in blatant price gouging, particularly during an emergency, to an excessive, unreasonable, and unfair degree. They exploited the situation by charging $867.50 for less than two hours of service (which includes the time being dispatched), simply to replace a gland hand that we supplied ourselves that took less than 10 minutes to do.
What’s more disturbing is the behavior of the technician, who demanded an additional $225 and physically inserted himself between the cab doors, effectively blocking and intimidating my female driver. This conduct was terrifying, unacceptable, and deeply unprofessional.
What kind of business operates this way taking advantage of customers in distress and resorting to such threatening tactics?

The tow truck driver came to pick me up on the side of 395 after a flat tire left me stranded. They came to assist me in 15 minutes after I called. A secondary tow truck came to the scene to assist with safe pick up. I was able to ride with the driver and my car to the drop off location. It was an all around great experience. I felt very safe. I was taken care of quickly and efficiently. I would use this service again if needed.

My car broke down on the ramp to 495 from 95 north on my way to the airport. I called Advance Towing and I joke you not, Shawn was there within 20 minutes, with the flat bed, car towed. I made it to the airport and he dropped the car off at my mechanic of choice. He saved my trip, I was able to make it to my best friend’s wedding. Thank you Shawn for being there.

Super professional, two guys showed up, one in a heavy duty freightliner, other in a 3500 Dodge Tow, loaded up an F650 on my step deck straight as an arrow NO problem, guy listened to direction at the wheel very well.

I called and talked with Shawn. I told him that i had a semi truck broke down in the travel lanes of 495 near Tysons Corner just outside of DC. within ten minutes of our phone call the wrecker was already there to help the driver and tow the truck. very professional and outstanding service. they gave me a fair rate and towed the vehicle to my mechanic in Baltimore. i highly recommend this company to anyone in the area. thanks again Shawn.
Desmond was awesome to work with! My truck had a failure towing a boat from Rhode Island. He hooked up and towed my entire 62’ unit to its destination in a snow storm. He did so with professionalism and ease. Great company with great drivers, I highly recommend them.
