Need a 0 star option. Rude, inconsiderate, predatory company that overcharges and will 100% tow your car incorrectly if it is AWD. 0/5 stars.
Feb 01, 2026 -
absolute bs. wish i could put 0 stars. They basically stole the car even tho there are no clear signs saying you can’t park nor it being reserved with any number. Literally had to call 911 to ask where the car was because we thought it got stolen. We have parked around with no issues until today, they genuinely wait for any opportunity they can get. terrible and honestly shady business. the lady at the window seemed to have a slight attitude as well when we started talking about payment and information as if the whole situation wasn’t already frustrating and unfair. $270 is insane pricing too. they could have gave some sort of heads up or lower pricing because we got the car back same night..

Towed my car twice, both times had a parking pass clearly displayed in the windshield and even backed the car in so its visible to the drivers

This towing company is absolutely disgusting. They clearly work together with the business to make the parking signs extremely small and hard to see, on purpose. It’s obviously designed to trap people who don’t notice it.
If there were even one clear, visible sign in the parking lot, no reasonable person would park there. But that would ruin their business model — because their whole operation is based on towing cars for profit, not on fair parking enforcement.
This feels predatory and dishonest. Truly evil behavior. Avoid at all costs.Jan 03, 2026 -
Towing your car on New Year’s Day from a private residential garage where you pay monthly for parking is next-level disgusting and disgraceful.
I didn’t even know my car was gone until January 2nd. No warning, no notice. Just gone. I had to walk in freezing weather to their lot to get my own car back.
My residential parking permit was inside my car, placed on the center stack below the radio. After explaining everything, the only thing they offered was $25 off, still charging me $276. No empathy. No discretion. No humanity — on a holiday. This doesn’t feel like enforcement. It feels predatory. Avoid this company at all costs.Jan 03, 2026 -
Disgusting behavior, unprofessional people working here.
I called this morning to talk about a car towed last night they don’t have decency to address the issueDec 05, 2025 -
Very unprofessional company, rude behavior and very impolite employees
They don’t tow the vehicles in professional manner and they don’t care about customers property, they damaged my car drive balance.
They towed my car from a visitor parking just at first 35 minutes, I think they are blind to attention in area.
Charging very high more than the standard rate.Nov 17, 2025 -
One of the most disgraceful companies and people I have ever seen! Towed my car when I was in lawful permit area! Completely rude and terrible people that want to make a living by exploiting others. They should be ashamed!!

Absolutely unbelievable experience with this towing company. They literally sat and waited until 11 minutes after the visitor parking curfew to tow my vehicle. Eleven minutes. I walked out at 10:15 because a friend of mine was going through a hard time...Instead of focusing on safety or legitimate violations, they clearly have nothing better to do than stalk cars and pounce the second they can profit from it.
This wasn't about enforcing rules...this was predatory, plain and simple. No warning, no courtesy, no common sense. Just a company sitting around watching the clock so they can grab a car the moment the curfew hits.
It's ridiculous, unprofessional, and honestly embarrassing that a business would operate this way. If you're considering their services, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. It's obvious this company prioritizes money over basic decency.Nov 14, 2025 -
It's something nice all this, it turns out that they take my car for having a visitor sticker on Sunday, which is true and I'm breaking a rule, but it turns out that there are 5 other cars with the same sticker and some without any and they only take mine, do they know that I'm Hispanic and there is some discrimination in it? When I ask the company he tells me that he doesn't know anything about why the others don't. I even show you evidence with photos of dates and time

They are bad company! They stole my car. I have a PERMIT! They just took my car anyway! They are bad people! They don’t deserve to be best. Their employees are so blind to see my permit! It may “improper” display, i don’t care! My point is my car is REGISTERED, period! It’s orange paper and same as others, orange paper doesn’t appear in many stores! I believe they are target new residents! Owner, you lost my respect! If your employee tow my car again, I will SUE your company! I notify to BBB about this situation! It’s your problem if you getting bad names!

They are liars and theives! Stole our car with a permit and then when we showed the permit which was right there they accused us of putting it afterwards!? What a scam company

I'm tired of hearing them tow cars at 9am on the weekends. I've seen them tow cars, realize they've made a mistake partway down the street then put it back. I've even seen them drop an SUV off the tow truck boom when they went over a speed bump too fast lol
I'm going to ask the association to contract a different companyOct 30, 2025 -
The lady at customer window was the worst person I ever met. Every single word was accompanied by attitude.

I have my parking permit but I don’t know what’s wrong with these guys they took 2 times my car and I talk with my appointment manager I always pay my parking permit fees with my room rent. Still they didn’t stop towing my car. The lady supervisor has no idea to deal with person also when I speak with her she shows attitude and she shouted on me…. When they tow my car and I received my car there I get my car is not in as usual condition I don’t know wha my they did with my car…

If I can leave no stars, I would. We went to get the car the same day. She asked for ID, Didn’t clarify who’s so we gave her their owners of the car. Meanwhile the friends are paying for it because he was dropping us off. She coulda been more clear about whose ID she needed. I went back to ask for her name. She said “because of policy, we can’t share our name.” Never heard that before. I’ve had my own car towed and gotten the name of the receptionist before.

I couldn’t leave a zero for my experience at this corrupt business. They wrongfully towed my car. When I called, they said there was no parking permit. The man behind the counter threatened me and yelled in my face. My son jumped out of his truck to protect me. I wish I took a video, but I’m sure it was all recorded. I want copies of the videos immediately for my lawyer to review. Shame on you for treating people the way you treated me!

Truly one of the most disgraceful companies I’ve ever encountered. Dominion Towing operates with zero integrity and even less professionalism. Latifa was astonishingly rude, condescending, unhelpful, and clearly unfit for any customer-facing role. Their practices are arbitrary and predatory, targeting vehicles without consistency or reason. An embarrassment to the industry. I sincerely hope this business is held accountable and shut down.

My car got towed while I was on a trip, and we came back late at night to find it missing. It was really convenient that they’re open 24/7 for pickup, you can pay easily with a credit card. The staff is professional and efficient. My car was placed in a covered garage and was completely free of harm when I got it back. Being towed is not a fun experience, but I’m happy if it had to happen that my car ended up here.

They towed my car the day after a snowstorm because I mistakenly parked in a reserved spot the night of the storm. I talked with management and he was very kind but the company had no understanding of the situation. They just want your money.

The woman on the phone gave me the wrong address to pick up my car. Drove 45 minutes to the incorrect location just to be told my car was in Alexandria. No one apologized for the incorrect address being given. I have a child that is unable to attend his doctors visit due to a careless mistake. And no one will have any repercussions… it’s infuriating.

Illegally tows the car. Will get inside your car and steal your things. Will do anything to get $200 because they can’t make money ethically so they have to do unethical things. I got my car towed inside my apartment building parking although the parking tag was there. They said sticker was not present.

I plan to take legal action against this dishonest business establishment for wrongfully towing my car and subsequently mishandling / not returning my driver’s license, in violation of multiple sub-provisions of Va. Code Ann. § 46.2-118.
My car was towed from Agora Tyson’s corner on the evening of Wednesday, November 20, 2024. This building is shared with Nouvelle Apartments and a few other businesses. I was parked in a spot that simply mentions guest parking. The website for Agora regarding parking clearly states that there is no gate/ticketing entry required and further adds that even though the garage says Resident parking, the restaurant’s customers are allowed to park there (see picture attached).
The towing representative that was present told me I needed a permit to enter the part of the garage in which I parked. The sign on the wall mentions “Permit required for entry” but clearly one was not needed. A photo of this is uploaded as well. When I pointed that out to him, he dismissed me by saying he is under the apartment’s direction to tow cars, and that I would have to take it up with the apartment building.
When I got to the towing location to pick up my car, I inquired with the woman at the desk for information on whom I could call for wrongly reporting and towing my car. Her response was that this is a garage that the company patrols, and nobody had called on my car to be towed - it was towed as part of routine checks of the garage. I tried to explain to her how the signs on the wall did not indicate that I was not allowed to park there, however, she immediately and aggressively replied saying that parking was only for guests of the apartments and that I could call back between 9-5 on Monday through Friday and speak to the management if I had grievances to report. At this point, I recognized I would not get anywhere with her and I handed her my driver’s license and credit card and paid the $200 towing fee. She handed me back my credit card BUT NOT MY DRIVER’S LICENSE. I did not realize it in the moment, as I was in a hurry to pick up my car and get out of there.
It was on Friday that I realized my license was missing from my wallet and it was not long before I was able to vividly recall not being handed back my license (only credit card was handed back).
When I called them up, I was told the company did not have my license and the woman who answered the phone urged me to look elsewhere. I checked every possible place thoroughly, knowing very well it wouldn’t be anywhere except with the towing company. Since I only live 4 minutes away from the towing place, I decided to drive down to check in person to see if the company was able to find it.
I walked up to the window and introduced my situation to the woman in shift and mentioned that I was following up from a call a few hours ago about a missing driver’s license. I was completely taken aback by her aggressive response while I was merely making a polite inquiry: she was very angry at me and yelled back saying, “Sir, I don’t have your license!” She wouldn’t even do a courtesy check to see if my license was in the office while I was there. Her belligerence discouraged me from proceeding with my inquiry. The only piece of information I got from her was that if I had not collected my license, it was likely mailed back to the DMV. This aggressive attitude on top of having my car wrongfully towed and my ID mishandled felt like an insult added to injury.
The next morning I called the company back hoping someone more reasonable would answer. A more professional sounding gentleman answered the call and told me to call the management. I tried several times but was never able to get across to the “management”.
These kind of businesses need to be reported and held accountable for their predatory towing practices, unclear and unethical business practices, and unprofessional and potentially illegal handling of identification.Nov 28, 2024 -
My car was towed inappropriately, and when I went to pick up my car the lady there was respectful and helpful with who I could call about disputing the tow charge. I was parked in a strip of 14 guest pay to park parking spots, with one sign in the middle that said “pay to park” and nothing said in regard to reserved spaces. There were some marked reserved spots that included faded labels and random numbers not in order. There were unmarked spots, and a spot that looked like it had said reserved but was painted over. All of these spots were in between each other - unmarked in between marked, and multiple numbered spots out of order. The “pay to park” sign was right in the middle of a marked spot and unmarked spot. For these reasons and this being the guest parking, it seemed like I was supposed to just do the “pay to park,” and I ended up paying $22 for that parking. Apparently that was incorrect and my car got towed from one of the random reserved spots within the strip of pay to park spaces, and when I called today to dispute this charge, the person on the phone was disrespectful. I was very calm and trying to remain respectful throughout the duration of the call, meanwhile this person would interrupt me and keep telling me that “it was a reserved spot” and that it “was very clearly a reserved spot” even after I had let her finish and responded each time that I understood her statement. It was very clear that this person was not hearing anything I was saying and would continue to interrupt me and speak to me as if I had been incompetent.

August 5th my car towed from an apartment complex while I was visiting a friend. The issue isn’t if they had the right to tow it or not. The issue is the fact a driver went inside my vehicle to check if the permit pass viable or not. I know this because upon getting my car back, the parking permit was not where I usually set it. Tucked in a corner where it does not move. Upon calling the towing company to verify if their drivers can enter our vehicles, the reception said yes. Usually to release the hand brake emergency. No my emergency brake does not work properly. It’s hard to pull up unless i exert a lot of force to it. An issue I’ve never had before.
Filing a complaint and this review is all I can do. I’m not here to bash anyones business in a negative manner. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in helping me file a complain but overall dominion towing is one of the most heartless, un professional, lack common sense and worst towing company. I expect a prompt reply of my complaint.Aug 08, 2024 -
They are just waiting for opportunity to tow. I parked in a space thinking it was okay since there isn’t a single sign IN the parking stating that I will be towed. ps: I did find a sign at the parking lot entrance after I was towed but it still didn’t say parking for “xyz customer only”. A staff from Dominion Towing Inc was there towing another car when I was looking for my car. He told me that he “watched me come out from the other parking lot and park here”. When I explained that I didn’t see a sign and I did not know these properties are not connected, he just said “you know it’s not right”. No sir, I do not know I cannot do that because THERE IS NOT A SINGLE SIGN IN THE PARKING LOT TELLING ME SO. $200 is a lot for most people, and you can’t give me a friendly warning if you were “watching me”.
There were plenty of parking spaces in this parking lot and the one I came out of. I just chose to park here because I want to purchase something from this store after I was done with my other business in that area not knowing I will be towed. The properties are so close to each other, I wouldn’t have known they are not together and have separate parking. I parked at 3:45 and I was towed at 3:57, because like the towing staff said, “he was watching me” and thank you for a $200 fine. There were a lot of cars towed at their location, because of course, “they are watching”. But please, $200 is a lot, if you know there’s NO SIGN and someone about to make a mistake, just warn them. It’s not like I parked there with a sign saying do not park here. Again, not a single sign in the parking lot and the sign at the entrance did not say “parking for xyz customer only”. There is a lot of ways to make profit, but this is just not right.Aug 03, 2024 -
These low lifers wrongly towed my car with a valid permit and wasted my time getting back but not only that, they also damaged my car in the process

I wish I could put zero stars!
This company is a freaking scam. They SCRATCHED AND DAMAGED MY BRAND NEW 2022 CAR. They towed our car that was parked on the right spot, with the permit! They charged us $210 dollars, no one called to get our car towed, they did on patrol at 3am in the morning on a Friday night. When we tried to reach them on the 24h phone number displayed on the website they didn't answer the phone. Once we got to the site, the terrible employee with terrible manners, and a terrible posture, took us to our care didn't wanna listen to our complaint, treated us like trash. I don't even know how this business is legal, such a disservice to the community.
We made several complaints to our apartment complex to stop working with them and we advise you that had a bad experience with this "company"to do the same.Jul 16, 2022
