Literally the best price and service I have received from any tow service ever in life!!! Due to horrible service at Ted Britt Ford of Chantilly I have had to have to my car towed easily 10 times in the last 3 months and boy do I wish I would've found Performance Towing of fairfax way sooner!!!!!! Just had a horrible expletive with you guys. I had my car towed about 5 times from AAA no problems then all the sudden one of your workers refused to tow my car after being 3 hours later than he said he would because my plates were expired even tho I’ve never had a problem with this through AAA. It’s a bad look for your business and the worker wasn’t being helpful at all. I will make sure to never spend money at your unhelpful business again!

Sean initially seemed like a reliable operator, and we agreed on a flat repo fee of $300. He completed a few repossessions for us without issue. However, a few months ago, after repossessing a Nissan Frontier, he claimed his truck was damaged during the process, allegedly by the owner who jumped into the Frontier and put it in reverse. Sean demanded $650 for the supposed damages. We made it clear that we would not be responsible or liable for any damages to his truck while he was conducting his business. Sean didn’t take this well and mentioned that he had videos of the incident. However, when we requested a copy of these videos, he refused to provide them. Due to his uncooperative behavior, we stopped giving him further business. About a month ago, Sean contacted us again, stating that work was slow and politely asking if we could continue doing business with him. After some consideration, we decided to give him another chance. We sent him a repo order on 09/03/2024, which he accepted with professionalism and enthusiasm. He successfully recovered the vehicle that night. However, when he brought the vehicle to us the next morning, he presented a bill for $950, a significant deviation from our agreed-upon $300 fee. When confronted about this, he rudely claimed that since nothing was in writing, we could find someone else to handle our repossessions. We were stunned by his sudden change in attitude—from courteous to confrontational. It’s now clear that Sean deceived us by pretending to seek work while planning to recoup the $650 he previously demanded for the alleged damages. Moreover, we had already spoken to the owner of the Frontier, who stated he had the key and wasn’t even present at the time of the repossession, completely refuting Sean’s claim.
Sean came to my rescue on the side of the road and changed my tire when I couldn’t get the lug nuts loose. He even left his dad’s bday dinner to come help me out! This company goes above and beyond. Highly recommend!

I could not be more pleased with these guys.i called for a tow for my lifted dually and to top it off it was in the middle of rush our traffic. I had call s couple other tow companies and they either said no or gave a restarted eta. I found Performance towing and due to their reviews and their location I gave them a call and explain my situation. Prompt, communicative, and kind--nothing like you would expect from a towing company. The owner himself, Sean, was the one who drove out to me, offered to take me in his towtruck to my car's destination and back without me even asking, and then told me he would wait for me as long as I needed to handle my business at the shop. Sean, owner of Performance Towing, is fantastic. I had to have my car towed twice within a few weeks and each time he was professional and timely. The first time he came out he tested my battery and tried to help me not have to tow the vehicle, which was very admirable considering that is his business. You can tell he is not all about the money and actually cares about helping people. I will definitely be using his services again if needed in the future.
I'm so glad I was referred to this towing company!! I couldn't recommend them more!! I work for a delivery service so I'm driving around every day. Unfortunately today, my car died while I was out for a delivery. I called Sean at Performance Towing to tow my car to the mechanics, and he legit came to where I was within 5 minutes of hanging up the call. I told him about my car problems and how I was on the way to complete a delivery for a customer. Sean being the nicest guy ever, offered to drive me to my customers area so I can complete my delivery and then would drop me off at the mechanics. I thought I would have to cancel the delivery and I would lose my earnings too but Sean saved the day! What a great guy! He even waited for me to check in my car at the mechanics and offered to drop me off at my house, saving me even more money by not getting an Uber. This is the kind of professionalism, empathy, and customer service experience all business owners should try to emulate. He didn't have to go the extra mile, but he did because he cares about his customers and business.
Sean is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I called because I needed a spot to store my car for 3 days before it could be picked up. He not only refused to charge me but spent a lot of time working to find me a good spot to store my car - eventually finding an open spot at his friend’s shop. When I dropped it off he spent 15min waiting with me until my ride got there. He goes WAY above and beyond and I could not recommend him or his company more highly!
Another update! These guys really saved my butt from a huge oversight on my part! I wasn't paying attention to my fuel gauge and dried up on 66 with a horse trailer and NO SHOULDER! They made my safety a priority and delivered in the very best way!

My truck is my world. I went all out when I bought it. I have a farm so it's also the gear that keeps us running. When my fuel pump went out, performance was out within an hour, carefully loaded my huge truck, and took me to the shop. The driver was so friendly and kept me from working the whole drive over.
The TL;DR version: make Performance Towing the FIRST call. Tow truck came within 10 minutes of my call while AAA estimated between 90 minutes and six hours (yep, you read that right) and another company (name redacted) gave me the run-around, kicking my request to another company who had a major issue and couldn’t arrive in a timely fashion. I waited nearly two hours when I should have called Performance Towing from the get-go.

Driving home on Saturday night from Sterling to Burke, my engine light started to flash and my car shook violently. I safely pulled over to the side of the road and called AAA, then another tow company who had a third-party towing company reach out to me. Two hours later, I called Performance Towing. They really should have been my first call. Do you remember Harvey Keitel’s character in the movie Pulp Fiction called The Wolf? Where he said (paraphrasing), “That is 30 minutes away. I’ll be there in 10” and he arrived at 9 minutes and 55 seconds or something? THAT is what I got when Chris arrived. Got. It. Done. No problems, awesome guy, real straight-shooter. He knew exactly where to go, very helpful and a total hoot of a personality. The owner, Sean, followed up with me to see if his driver arrived in 15 minutes from the end of the phone call. I told him that he was there in 10.
Pricing for towing were reasonable (cash or credit card). Other non-AAA company was charging me over $200 (wanting me to pay in advance before service was completed) while Performance Towing charged $174 and only accepted payment when the service was done. The initial phone call was brief but efficient and got to my destination very quickly.
I am definitely putting Performance Towing’s number in my phone just in case I need them.
On Saturday, Oct 1, a gentleman's car broke down on a busy road in Vienna. He pulled partially off the road and into my driveway with a flat tire. When he exited the car, I saw that he had a physical limitation and was using an electric chair. A couple of men stopped to help but they were unable to remove the tire due to a stripped lug nut. I started calling service stations for help but it was close to 5pm and no one would come. The man was unable to pay for a towing service. Our family has used Performance Towing before, so I called them and asked if they could help out. Without hesitation, the owner Sean agreed to come and he arrived 15 minutes later with his colleague, Chris. They were very thoughtful and respectful towards the owner of the vehicle. When I offered to pay them, they refused to accept our payment, knowing this man was unable to pay himself. It's nice to know compassion, empathy, and humanity is alive and well. Thanks so much Sean and Chris! You are angels of mercy and your kindness is not lost on us!
Sean promptly called us and showed up when he said he would to tow our vehicle. He was great! Prices are reasonable and he was top notch. He was also very courteous and sensitive to the fact that we had a damaged vehicle and were not in the best state of mind. They are the best towing company with whom I have ever dealt.
