Great experience with Elon. Paid top dollar for steel and was able to weight big pieces that another yard could not. Would recommend again
Dropped off a stove, about 25lbs of cast iron and a 30 x 48 sheet of stainless steel. Checked with magnet. Solid. He said he doesn't pay for metal. Bahaha. Said "it was garbage. Worth ten cents". He offered $5 but returned it as it was counterfeit. Easier than taking to dump so win win but not what I would call legit.
Dropped about 1100lbs of clean solid iron and got paid $81.00. I would say their prices are low and you are better off spending the gas to get to another yard.
