Henry's Wrecker Service JunkYard in Annandale (VA)

Horrendous! At the crash site, I said please can I keep some of my personal items in the car because I was there by myself in the rain, with all my belongings I could carry, injured from a head on collision from a SUV that hydroplaned from the oncoming lanes, went over the median and slammed into me and two other cars as well . They proceeded to put all the wet, nasty debris from the wreck inside my car on top of all my personal items. Rude and careless. Refused to take my car to their location in Reston that was closer to me and where the wreck occurred, instead took it to Falls Church. Hoping USAA will be able to handle it.....Ridiculous, antiquated requirements to get your car out of their lot.

Alright so I called their dispatch and was able to get a wrecker out before the quoted time from dispatch. The driver was skilled, professional, and fast. Thomas, the driver, was able to get my beast of a truck out from a bottom floor apartment building garage with zero issue.

No difficulties at all getting roll-back towed. Great service and beautiful well-maintained equipment. Took a while between my call to my roadside service company and them getting on the horn to service companies but once these folks had the call they were great. The driver was careful as well as expedient.

Had a car towed because the driver couldn't read a valid posted parking pass (would expire 5 days later), somewhat forgivable??.... however, spent most of the day working to have the car released from Henry's lot. Even the corporate staff on the phone were screaming at me, the lot staff were rude, obnoxious (screaming and demanding money) and difficult to deal with, disrespectful. I have no idea why anyone would want to deal with this company. They took my car illegally. Wouldn't walk out to see the valid pass and said the only way I could get the car back was to pay the money. Fortunately, after having the building property manager weigh in, it was finally released. Henry's knows nothing of customer service, apologies or problem resolution. Sorry I couldn't select zero stars. ZERO STARS!!!!! HORRIBLE, RUDE

I am the GM of a restaurant in Mosaic, less than a quarter mile away. I was unloading liquor for the restaurant from the ABC store from a Togo pickup area for the restaurant. The driver waited until i dropped off the first box before swiping my truck with the liquor inside. Then they charged me an “overnight” fee because by the time i got my truck it was 5 min after 6pm. They also work for the Fairfax country. Have some respect for yourselves and your community. I have no respect for anyone that works for these hungry pack of wolves.

This company is an aggressive predator. Our car was towed while at my garage gate with my phone and keys inside. They said we parked at fire lane when we were loading. Our camera captured the Henry guy, and we thought is was a thief so we called the police. The officer told us they heard similar issues, it was probably Henry. Yeah, they are actually famous. This is the first time I got towed, and it happened at home.

My tow driver was exceptional. He literally pulled my model y from inside my garage without putting a scratch on my car or my garage. Considering I was not happy with me losing my car for God knows how long the experience with this guy and his witty humor made a tough situation more manageable. Forgive me Sir for not getting your name but thanks for sending me a pic after dropping my car off at the Tesla service center. My husband came back in the house raving about his intelligence and professionalism! Thus a five star was certainly earned.

A very disturbing individual tried to my car while the permit was displayed. All my neighbors came out asking him to put my car down. He started cussing everyone even attempting to fight an old man. He attempted to run over one of my neighbors and even tried to hit my car as he was taking off. This kind of individual should not work in this environment. I will make sure to spread this information. No one should use their services.

I’m extremely disappointed with Henry’s Wrecker Towing Service. They towed my car for not displaying the resident parking card, even though I’ve lived here for over two years and have always kept it displayed. Last night, I accidentally forgot to hang it, and they immediately towed my car. It’s frustrating and unfair that they took such drastic action over a simple mistake. This kind of aggressive and unreasonable behavior shows a lack of compassion and understanding for long-term residents. They should be ashamed of themselves, and I wouldn’t recommend their services to anyone.

DO NOT LET YOUR VEHICLE GET TOWED TO THIS PLACE‼️I was in an accident in July that resulted in my car being totaled to Henry’s Falls Church location. Of course because I was in a traumatic accident, I didn’t think to or have time to remove things out of my car. I came to recover any items I wanted from my car the next day, less than 24 hours after the accident. I then realized that shoes and clothes were stolen from car! I asked the crew at the front desk about ir, and they were dumb founded and only told me to write a list of what was stolen. I tried many times to get in contact with management and no one answered or responded to my messages. No one followed up with me about the list of stolen items. This place has some shady business going on and it is heartbreaking to go through a traumatic accident and then be robbed!!!

The operator was outstanding very courteous polite and professional have no complaints whatsoever

Looking at the comments and experiencing the way the owner drives on the road (with what looks like kids in the car...also maybe the owner maybe not), this makes sense. If you're gonna be a mongrel while driving, I'd recommend not having your company all over your truck.

Gerald is a number one person. He is so calm and considerate and his singing is fabulous. Hi is a professional in every sense of the word and very knowledgeable when it comes to towing a coach.

These people towed a car illegally just to rob us of our money. There is no protection the state provides. They can act as they please even as far as to tow cars that have doors wide open from delivering groceries and not safely strapping car on property. ILLEGAL.

While it took awhile to get the wrecker to come, Jose was great at carefully handling my son's car. It was especially nice since the car is old!

Mark was great, funny and he saved me money. He looked an I had a loose battery connection. How awesome is that! Thank you.

The gentleman was very helpful and polite. Even dropped me off at the light safely at the crosswalk while light was red at the job which was en route where he was dropping my truck off at. He’s the best!!!!

They towed my vehicle off of a Walmart parking lot that I was working night shift at came out to find my rental car gone. Show up later that day to get my rental car and they charged me $185 then get off the lot to find out that the person who towed the car drove the tow truck into the car and damaged the front bumper/radiator rendering it inoperable. This was a rental car and the wrecker service (emphasis on wrecker) acknowledged the damage caused but didn't return calls not make any attempt to fix the situation they caused. Even the dispatch lady seemed surprised that we weren't informed of the damage when we picked it up. We have since called multiple times to have this fixed and them take responsibility only to be put on hold or sent to a answering machine and then to never have them call back. It's a rental I have to return in this condition seriously. This place is shady and unless they steal your car and ransom it back to you (unavoidable sometimes) I'd avoid voluntarily using them for anything!!!!!! Beware - they are as bad as their reviews claim. Check out the photos I posted of the red Hyundai Accent.

Johnathan my towtruck driver was amazing. I couldn't ask for a better service person. Very upbeat, friendly and personable.

Negative 5 stars. My semi truck and trailer got towed. I called the office to get an invoice and they couldn't manage to provide that to me. When you call their office they just bounced you around until they hang up. Extremely rude people and very unprofessional. They are running a kindergarten not a business this place is a joke. Outrages prices. On top of everything they damaged my equipment while they towed it back to their yard. DO NOT USE THEM.

Wow!!! Was told the ETA would be 45 minutes to an hour but he arrived at just about 30 minutes and as soon as I went to meet him by my company vehicle he already had it jumped and was ready to leave. Great service!!

Got my car towed by Henry ‘s towing while visiting someone in the apartment complex. Was parked in an unmarked space(non reserved). Came out at 9 p.m to go home only to find out my car wasn’t there. The reason being is no visitors pass displayed. If I’m a guest how am i supposed to know that and i wasn’t parked there overnight. At the end of the day I feel like I was robbed 200 dollars for parking plus a ride to the tow yard. To me is a money grab plain and simple. In respect I will say that staff responded quickly and very fast i recovered my car. In my 16 years of driving never had my car towed, till Henry’s towing decided to make some easy quick money. The apartment/condo complexes who tolerate this kind of behavior and let this guys tow cars in the middle of day for no reason should be ashamed of themselves.

Road Runner Wrecker was great to work with. They confirmed my request immediately after my call. The driver, Jose was very nice and helpful.

Arrived a bit quicker than they promised. Quick assessment of the situation and my car was safe on solid road within minutes.

I’ve used Henry’s in the past for towing of vehicles in my business fleet that break down, but not any longer. I’m tired of their rude and unprofessional staffing of their phone line and offices, and slow process to make payment and retrieve vehicles from their yard. In reading through many of these google reviews, the writing is clearly on the wall for them, and they appear to be circling the bowl. They apparently have contracts with government agencies and they ought to be reigned in by public regulation and oversight. I’ll be making formal public complaints to the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors & Fairfax County Dept of Consumer Affairs regarding their abysmal service and conduct.
