I needed a new rear windshield wiper so I stopped in. Mike helped me identify the correct wiper and even replaced it for me. He was a life saver. Great customer service!!

I went to this store to buy a flat tire repair kit. The posted price was $13.99, but at checkout the staff member tried to charge me $15.99. When I asked why, instead of giving a clear explanation, he started yelling and screaming at me, saying “you’re being cheap for $2.” This kind of unprofessional and disrespectful behavior is unacceptable. Customers deserve to be treated with courtesy and charged the correct posted price, not harassed for pointing out a discrepancy.

Slow and lazy staff, line kept piling up and they just couldn’t get customers going. Entertained a lot of side questions instead of client in front of them. Overall worst advance auto i’ve ever been too

I just left this location. I had to go twice within 1 hour. The first time I went a lady who works there offered assistance as soon as I came in (she gets 5 stars). I left with some oil and had to return to buy an additional quart. I go in the store, and get the oil. As I am walking towards the register I notice one employee helping a man who is standing right in front of his counter. Then I see another employee with no one at his counter. This employee is an older man, white, with a large (very large) gray beard. He is standing at his station and not making eye contact. I say “excuse me”. He ignores. I walk closer and say “excuse me” this time a little louder. He ignores. I walked much closer and say “excuse me” even more louder because at this point I’m thinking he has a hearing impairment. This employee with the big gray long beard yells at me, the customer, “I AM ON THE PHONE”. I was appalled. I yelled back in the same tone and told him I didn’t know that. From where I was standing I couldn’t see the phone leaning on his shoulder because of the large beard. Then he yells and tells me he is helping a customer. Again, I didn’t know as no one was at his counter at the time. This man is disgusting. Has no problem yelling at a woman in the store in front his colleagues and other customers. I will not put up with disrespect ever. Hopefully he got the hint. All other employees seemed very nice and gracious. Beware of the large/long gray rough looking bearded guy! Incident: April 12th around 5:20 PM. Management should check the cameras.

The store advertised free windshield wiper replacement and the staff doesn’t want to help you find the blade. I asked the guy with the glasses to help get the blade and he just stood at the counter. Then he felt weird or something he walked over after I walked away and told me to pick any of these it will fit my car. What a bad worker. It really makes the store look bad.

The worst experience that associate name Jakeline T. Was rude ignores our question and talking to us with disrespect like I was an Idiot for asking questions, she gives the company a bad reputation. Please address this problem

The associate treated me like an annoyance she had to deal with. Every interaction seemed like a chore for her. As I was waiting to check out she actively ignored me and helped 2 people on the phone instead putting them on hold and allowing me to purchase my items. I asked how much transmission fluid I needed for my vehicle and she acted like I was an idiot for asking. Rude and unhelpful in every way.

Went to go get a battery from here and they were very rude. I usually go there and the big guy is very good but this big Spanish girl with the glasses and the young Spanish guy with alot of hair had every reason in the book not to change it. I went and changed my own battery in 20 mins. Don't know if I'll go back there

I recently visited your store and had an extremely unpleasant experience with one of your cashiers, Jacqueline. Her attitude was unprofessional and rude. When I approached the checkout, she didn't greet me and seemed visibly annoyed to be helping me. Throughout the transaction, she sighed heavily and rolled her eyes multiple times. When I asked a simple question about a product, her response was curt and dismissive. This kind of customer service is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your store. I hope this issue is addressed promptly to prevent future customers from having a similar negative experience, if you really hate your job just move on!!!

All I was try to do was submit an order online in store to use my advanced auto coupons that expire soon. Couldn't find $10 Ac refrigerant on the shelf because its behind the counter.... I've done this many times at other locations and grab my stuff before i go to the desk for my online order.. Bum manager was trying to kick me out before closing. I get your trying to go home like everyone else. But I was never expecting anyone to wait past closing. If you're in that much of a rush ask customers if they need help looking for something sooner.... Could've just seen if itll pop up on the computer or not... but what do I expect from advanced auto.. i easily spend up to thousands on any given year since i help people fix their cars. The prices they charge you might aswell grab stuff off Amazon if you can wait. Only worth it with online coupons. Auto zone or pep boys it is for now on.

Had some trouble during a battery replacement. One of the staff members came out to look at the car and knew the exact solution to the problem and helped me fix it. The team is very professional and knowledgeable. Thank you for the help!

The stars are for the hispanic female manager who worked night shift. She was very professional, knowledgable and helpful. She helped me to find the right windshield wiper and put it on for me since I didn't know how to install. That missing star is because the other store assistants didn't know how to find the right product for me, twice.

Wow Jackie needs a major attitude adjustment!! Talk about an attitude that screams "Youre bithering me and I dont want to be here". The other shorter lady I worked with was absolutely wonderful by comparison! This would have been a 5 star review had I not interacted with Jackie briefly. Edit: Reading all these reviews about this horrible cashier and its apparent I'm not the only one with this experience. Why is she still around, no2 I'm wondering what's wrong with management...

If I could give this place a 0 I would. Similar experience to one of the reviewers. A female cashier with w full left arm tat had a HORRIBLE attitude towards my mother. My mother had a difficult time understanding as they barely explained the process of changing the battery/prices. She ended up calling someone else over an older lady that then proceeded to throw racist remarks (my mother is Chinese with basic level understanding of English) towards my mother. I can understand having a bad day but throwing RACIST comments is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. Unfortunately we weren’t able to get their names. But we will NEVER come back to this place. Save yourselves to a better place that actually has decent morals and customer service.

There is a Hispanic cashier woman that is tattooed on her left arm, light skinned, black hair, short stature that was extremely rude to me during my last visit. I will never shop her again because of how I was discriminated by her. She asked me questions about my vehicle parts, and I could not answer them all because I couldn't explain it in English well, nor did I know the answer, thats why I went there to seek help. She exploded with loud voice, scolding me like a child after I could not answer well in English (I translated this text on google from spanish to english to leave the review). Then towards the end, she decided to speak to me in fluent Spanish, which she could have done to make things smoother and not explode, losing her own temper. It was horrible customer service. She needs to be in the back not dealing with customers, or receive more training on how to deal with a diverse body of customers.

Went to the store. Unwelcoming vibe. Old white man with long white beard refused to tend to my car with check engine light. His excuse was “his machine” is broken and he only has two staffs in the store. Went to Autozone down the road and they checked my car and told me what the problem was. From now on out, I will NEVER step into another advanced auto parts store ever again. All my car needs will be for Autozone. If this is how advanced auto parts see their customers as “nuisances” then why do business in the first place. And don’t give me the typical robotic response with “we have forwarded this to upper management” baloney. Either fire that guy and get a better progressional employee.

Go this spray can to remove paint on the wall. On the advanced auto it said it was for 11.29. But when to the counter to pay for it they said 18 buck. I was like your website said 11.29. The Latino lady that work there said that with 15% off online. She was wrong. I paid for it but never go to advance auto part again. Auto zone or pep boys better and better prices.

I came into your store Wednesday night before closing and again Thursday at 5:30 as a follow up to my visit the night before.. The older heavy set Caucasian guy, very rude, lazy and not very customer friendly. I dont have the time to write out the hoooooorrible customer service I received from him. I just won't be back, and really hope he isn't someone's manager.

it was my fault to leave my dead battery (still within warranty) to the asian guy overnight to recharge without any receipt. came back next day and found him. he told me he never saw me before. i didn't want to argue since I should have not left it overnight without any receipt. when i was walking out of the store, he sang to my back "you shouldn't have left it overnight...... ". 8/17/2020 Thank you for your response. I went to the store on 8/14/2020 around 5PM. The Asian guy tole me it would take 40 mins to recharge the battery. I told him I will come back to get the battery. However, i could not make it. I came back to the store around 11am on next day. the rest was just like i previously mentioned. I totally understand if the store will not take any responsibility to any items left overnight. However, the way he handled the situation was more like "i gonna teach this customer a lesson about leaving stuff overnight". i have no wish to get the battery back since i already got a new one from another store which i trust and i also took responsibility for leaving it overnight. the review is the reflection of his attitude. i have no ill will toward your business. I just don't want to deal with this kind of human.

Long story short, they lied to me about whether or not I could return a defective battery and cheated me out of $140. I bought a battery here just under 2 months ago. They only carry one battery recommended for my vehicle, so I didn't shop around or read too much up on it because I needed a battery right then. Fast forward to now, the battery went belly up on me and refused to hold a charge. The car was already at the mechanic's, who had a higher quality battery on hand. Before I let him replace the faulty battery from advanced I called to ask if I could return it, figuring if I couldn't return it I would just exchange it since it was still under warranty. When I was called I was told that, yes, I could return it. So I had the mechanic replace it with the higher quality battery. When I arrived at Advanced I was told that they would not accept a battery for return after it had been installed and that they could only refund the core charge.

Went into this Advance location on 7-23-19 and employee “Matt” was outstanding in helping me find what I need. 1. He gave me my oil filter number in a prompt and friendly manner. 2. Showed me the special deal the franchise was having on their oil pan kit. $6 for an oil drain pan, a little tub of GoJo, a roll of shop towels AND a funnel. By him letting me know about the stores offerings on their sales and moving product that rarely people think about to buy, leads me to believe he was in a managers position, if not he should definitely be promoted if he so desires!

My wife was only about an hour into a 10 hour trip and her wipers started to fail in the rain. They were "inspected" the prior day by Jiffy Lube in Clarendon - avoid that place. Anyways, I called ahead and spoke to Francisco and told him my pregnant wife was coming in, shared the type of car, and asked him to take care of her only 15 minutes after they opened the store. They took great care of her, inspected her wipers, installed the correct units, and she said they were INCREDIBLY helpful the entire time. Thanks guys.
