I'm at the shop at the present moment. Broke down the other day with a blown radiator. They sent a tech to the truck stop I was at, then a day later, escorted me to the shop without having to tow. Just waiting for them to install a new radiator. They've been quick and extremely helpful throughout the process. Would recommend without hesitation.

When other people would not come out because it was cold from the storm.,The guys at Blue Ridge truck service were awesome. I liked especially thank Tanner for coming out in the cold during the storm and assisting us and helping to fix our truck. Everybody there ,chuck, did an awesome job. Had services just rendered. Called in at 0315 was told 60-90 min eta and it wasn't til 0545 thats when mechanic showed up. Beware they charge a 2 hour minimum like everyone else but separate charge for coming to unit and a FSC also. So its a minimum 2 hours at $125/ per hr and a coming out fee and a fsc. $500 for literally a upper radiator clamp (not hose) and 6 gallons of antifreeze. Moral of review, keep extra 3 gallons of full concentrate and clamps and a screw driver it'll save you hundreds, literally.

🚫 Truckers, stay away from this shop! My truck only had a simple belt problem, but they made up fake issues and kept it for two days. Then they charged me $6,800 for work that wasn’t worth even a fraction of that. They take advantage of drivers stuck on the road — don’t go here!

Our gooseneck trailer tire was wobbling due to loose lug nuts. Ruined both dual rims. They broke down our spare tire and put it on and sold us a new rim and put our tire on it. Later found out the rim hub whole was too small causing it to not seat properly. Two days later we had the same thing happen again, spending another 1k to fix. Also sold us 8 studs which were $37 EACH!.. which we really couldn’t say no to. On our invoice there was no part number which I found sketchy. They put the old seal back in the hub instead of new one. Scratched/damaged our hub while trying to get the studs removed. They worked on it for almost 7 hours but was only present at our location for maybe a total of 2 hours and charged us more than that. Yes they got us back on the road, but just to go break down two days later. And because they over tightened the bearings when putting everything back together, our bearings now went out. So we are sitting making no money waiting for yet ANOTHER mobile mechanic to fix it properly to get us back on the road. I do not recommend this company to anyone. When I called about our situation, they had no interest in making it right. They denied having wrong size rim on trailer. They over price people on parts that are a must have. Uneducated in the profession. Uncaring. I wasted $1,200 for nothing.. they caused a total of more than $3,000 in repair due to wrong parts, uneducated on what they doing and over priced parts. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! (In the photo you can see our new rim with strands from bolts indication of not being set properly and also shows it’s bowed out from being too small)

Been here for 2 trailer’s airbags replacement. I had new parts so they didn’t need to order or buy it, just replacement . After 2.5 hours of waiting I asked them what’s going on and got the answer Sorry, I’m doing it for the first time and the 1 airbag haven’t replaced yet. I understand that it isn’t this new guy fault, but why the team doesn’t help and teach him? You charge for the labor $125 and this kind of work shouldn’t take more than 1.5-2 hours. After showing my disappointment of this situation the manager told me that they will charge only for 2 hours. I don’t want to say that it’s a bad repair service but I felt like my time doesn’t valued here at all. As a result I spent more than 5 hours there.

I do not recommend this company, I called them and told them that we had an electrical problem and how much they would charge to repair it and they told me $385 for the first 2 hours. I told them that I would pay them but they must repair the truck, if they cant fix it dont go to the place. I explained to them twice that I did not want someone to check that I needed someone to repair the truck. The mechanic came to the truck and we explained to him again that if he did not repair the truck we would not be able to work because 2 people had not been paid and they did not repair it. He said that he did not work free of charge and we closed the hood. Then he came back and said ok that he was going to try and in the end he said that he could not that it had to be taken to his shop. We told her we weren't going to pay because we told her so. She sent for a tow truck from the company and we called the police. The sheriff arrived along with two DOT vehicles. The police didn't want to see my evidence. I had recorded everything and sent it in messages, but she didn't want to listen to me. She told me to pay or they would take the truck. Total corruption. Don't get involved. Don't call them.

NEVER USE THIS SERVICE! If I could give 0 stars I really would. If you get stuck on 77, I would never suggest using this service. Not only will you pay $1,000 but they will lie about the price initially and charge you $350 per mile (1.5ish miles is what we had) and $200 for two days or your vehicle being there. Which again, they did not say even if you asked them! Then, when AAA went out to get it, they left our car in a muddy field where they couldn’t get to it and this company would not go and get it themselves so they made the AAA driver get stuck too, just like my fiancé’s car. These people are liars and scammers. Never use this service. This is not right. Update- we got our car back finally but guess what- not only did they lie to us, we now have stuff missing from our car.

My car broke down late at night on the freeway nearby. The cop called Blue Ridge to tow my car to their shop to get it off the road. I was told initially that the cost would be $350 to tow it. I found out later that that meant 350 per mile when I got the bill. Not only that but it cost me $200 for them to put my car in a muddy field for a couple days. And when I had another truck come to pick up my car they would not bring my car out so that truck got stuck on the field and had to be pulled out. Overall, I had to pay 1000 dollars for my car to be moved about 2 miles and be left in a field

The repairs were completed good but the head mechanic was mostly good with communication except towards the end of the repair process I was pretty much ignored and my calls went unanswered to get final results.. so I had to get the owner of the truck involved and he got a lame excuse.. overall my experience was NOT very good use only if emergency tow and repairs are needed and you want a mini vacation there are no motels nearby closest ones are fancy gap,and Mt.Airy.. also they work only M-F emergency services only S-S. My truck was done on a Fri evening just before closing time (5:30 ). They had my truck 2 weeks due to the EGR VALVE went bad.. communication up till the end was not great but I was kept informed of progress.. and now that my truck is done and my company is working on paying the bill no one at the shop wants to deal with getting it paid out on a Saturday the shop has to ask the owner to call my company to get it invoiced out ….USE THIS SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK

These guys are incredible, Not only did they get me off the mountain in a record time. They were able to repair my truck and replace the radiator in a few hours. It's a penske truck and after waiting 3 hours for penske to reach me and tell me there's nothing he can do , Blue Ridge showed up in under a hour and took care of business. These guys are down to earth and friendly...

Absolutely outstanding work at this shop. These men are down to earth and great at getting you what you need. Major thank to Christopher for handling my blow tire, in the rain. Make sure you call Blue Ridge before ❤️'s or 🪶J. You won't be disappointed. Thanks again my friends!

I do not advise anyone to deal with Blue Ridge truck service. They will steal your money without any right or service in return. I had a problem with the truck and I stopped because of a problem with the injectors. They were not able to diagnose the problem, saying that the truck was not starting. After three days of waiting at the hotel, they finally said that... The truck will not be repaired and you will have one solution that to change the engine at a cost of $36k. I didn’t accept and I changed the shop. Finally, before leaving they charged me more than $2k . Be sure, dear reader, they will answer my opinion and deny that they dealt with me, as is the case with all negative opinions here. The others I read before do it only because they don't want people to know their truth. No service, bad people. to much money for nothing

We have unfortunately found ourselves stranded on the side of road with travel trailer recently (May 2024) leaving Fancy Gap, Va. We lost a sway bar pin and desperately were trying to come up with a temporary fix to get us to our next destination. Blue Ridge Truck Service, LLC out of nowhere drove up and stopped to check on us. They didn’t have the exact part we needed, but quickly had a solution to get us mobile again. Thank you Blue Ridge!! We are very grateful for superior service.

I recently encountered what I believe was outright fraudulent behavior from Blue Ridge Truck Service, LLC. I was traveling through the area and my truck unexpectedly broke down. Blue Ridge was the nearest service provider, so I called them for assistance. They towed my truck to their lot, and then without any prior discussion, informed me that they would be charging $100 per day for parking. Shockingly, they refused to release my truck until I paid this exorbitant fee, which they had never mentioned before. But the nightmare didn't stop there. When I finally agreed to pay to get my truck back, I found out they had siphoned nearly half my fuel tank and several of my personal items from the truck cabin were missing. When I confronted them about these issues, the manager, Chuck, blatantly denied any wrongdoing, suggesting these problems were my own fault and unrelated to their service. It was a horrifying experience, and I ended up paying not only for towing and parking but also had to bear the loss of my belongings and fuel. I strongly warn others to stay away from Blue Ridge Truck Service, LLC. Their practices seemed deceitful and exploitative, with no regard for customer rights or basic honesty.

Had a blowout with both my right rear tires coming off the Mountain at 2AM. I made the call for service and Blue Ridge had me back on the road in no time at all with 2 brand new tires. I even made my delivery on time to New Orleans. Thanks for the great and fast service!

These folks made us very comfortable from the first phone call. Very polite, friendly and professional at all times. Diagnosed the problem with our motorhome quickly and correctly. They hunted down the parts we needed, got them installed in a jiffy and went on a test drive with us right back up the same mountain that we first noticed the issue. All good. Feel very comfortable recommending them to anyone. Thank you Blue Ridge Truck Service!

I used Blue Ridge Truck Service, LLC last week because we had a fan clutch issue on our truck. My driver broke down while driving on the mountain and Blue Ridge was close by to come troubleshoot the issue. They got there within 1 hour which is impressive because most road side calls are at least 3 + hours. They diagnosed the truck and determined that the fan clutch was out and not working properly. On the invoice, it says they "rebuilt the fan hub with a quick kit and now it's working" (not sure what a quick kit is but okay) . They charged me $775.85 to do this work roadside, my driver leaves and calls me within an hour and a half stating that the truck is still running hot and the fan isn't coming on while going up a hill. I immediately called Blue Ridge back and spoke with Chuck and he pretty much said that the fan was working when the technicians left and that my driver was too far out to come and look at it. Well obviously, something wasn't repaired correctly because the truck wouldn't be doing the same thing that it was doing before I called you. Chuck pretty much just shot me away after they took my money. I am a small business and don't have $775 just to throw away for no reason. I ended up taking the truck to a repair shop and was told the fan clutch needed to be replaced not repaired because the material lining was not good on it. Had Blue Ridge diagnosed the problem correctly the first time, I wouldn't be writing this review but instead they took my money and did not repair/replace anything at all. Not a well we can issue you some sort of a refund, nothing from them! I will NEVER use them ever again and I warn other drivers out there to think twice before calling them as some of the reviews on google sound similar to mine. You've been warned - don't make the same mistake I did.

I blew my radiator about 5 miles up the mountain. They took my information and routed a tow truck my way. Said it would be an hour and half and it was only less than and hour I had to wait. Guys was really nice. When I got to the shop they were waiting on me to put my truck in and get to work!! From the time I broke down till I was back on the road was little over 5 hours!! You can’t beat that service. They put 3 guys on it to get me in and out!! This place is awesome!! I highly recommend them. They are nice people and work quickly to get you running again. Thank you guys!!!

"WARNING" I had a road call 4 tire replacement on my truck, they asked 3hours of work + 550$ for a long haul Firestone steer tire wich I agreed . The service truck came on site with a Firestone FS561 low speed city tire. These tires are city haul and they last 3 months on highway if lucky and they don't explode , I am in bussiness since 1994 and very well experienced that. I asked 4 the right long haul agreed tire but the owner refused and then he threatened me with his friend, a local trooper who would give me a ticket and who will tow my truck if I don't pay 95$ for the call. I ended up by paying him 95$ because I refused to pay 900$ for an unsafe tire job. Then I call Lowes road service who bring me a right long haul tire, did the job and even charged me 112$ less compared with this crook bussiness . I will also fill a complaint at 'Better Bussiness Bureau' when home. This kind of highway scamers should not exist.
