I visited pick and save and wasn't sure what I was needing.I asked a young man what I needed to do and what I needed to have. And he was very rude. He said, bring the battery in and you can look for another one like it which I told him the car was in Madison. Heights, and he told me sorry to hear that. And turned his back from me, the girl at the desk, intervened kudos to her. She stood up for me and helped me within 3 minutes. That younger gentleman did not do anything for me was not gonna help me. Wasn't gonna point me in the right direction, but that girl in the front sure did amazing. Amazing jobIf it wasn't for her, I am sure I would not have come back there. You go girl, keep up the good work. Thanks for looking out

The worst experience of customer service I’ve ever had in my life. Dakota started ringing me up asked if I wanted a warranty. I told him no then Jesse comes out of nowhere and takes over the register processes the payment and as I look at the receipt, see that I’ve been charged 470 for a warranty that I did not ask for.. I brought this to her attention and she got extremely rude and told me she would not refund me my money and would only offer me a free entry which is worth three dollars as far as I’m concerned this crooked place just stole $1.70 from me. Absolutely horrendous experience.

This is the place to scavenge for the parts that you need or don’t need. (I tend to get extras). Super affordable with great service. For people who complain that they didn’t have what they needed or that staff didn’t know is crazy to me because this is the kind of place that you have to go scavenge and hope someone else didn’t already get it. To think that they would have inventory on everything is ridiculous. The dealership quoted me over $1800 to fix my power steering and not only did I get the motor/sensor but I got a lot of other odds and ends for under $50. Talk about a steal. They offer wagons, and wheelbarrows, and even a large pulley thing to pull engines. You do need to bring your own tools and the day pass is under $5 (you can leave and come back if you need to which is awesome). Also, look out for events, I just missed a major discount day! (Do they have everything that you need? No, but they do have a lot. Make sure to use the website to see if they have your car and where they are located on the site or you will be wondering around a bit).

Lots of options. Even if you don't find your part, you can learn alot about your vehicle just by looking around hunting for it.

Helpful employees, great prices and they come with a 6 month warranty. They will print you a list of spots where the cars you may need parts. They provide wheel barrows and flat carts to carry the parts or your tools. They also have cherry pickers for pulling engines. They sell sets of tires. Also single tires

Called to ask for a part, the woman answering the phone extremely rude for no reason, absolutely don’t do business with these people or their affiliate sister company Cunningham brothers.

Go online first, see what vehicle you need. Then write down location, they'll print out too. Easy to find the cars, just get ready to walk. They have wheel barrow to use too. Good prices.

They have grouped trucks together Mixed the manufacturers. Cars on the lot all appear to have had good parts stripped prior to arrival on the lot

They have prices listed for airbags on their website but say they aren't allowed to sell them after you go through the trouble of finding and picking them out of the yard.

Mine & My Dad's go to parts place and they deliver!!! Always a great time w/ Dad at the junkyard!

Extremely disrespectful to their clientele. I would not, in any way, shape, or form, spend my money with these people. No scrap is worth blatant disrespect. Also, look at the five-star reviews and tell me how many of them look real and how many look like somebody asked a friend to give them a higher review to cover up their poor service.

This place used to save you money. I just went in there and pulled a headlight housing and I wasn't paying attention when I checked out because I have been coming here for almost twenty years. They charged me $40 for a used headlight housing that I pulled myself. I can buy all four housings brand new off Amazon for $70. I will never be back. I used to pay for the yearly membership. Counting my labor It cost me more money to buy this used part than it would have cost me to buy all four of them brand new. You just lost a twenty year customer. I own five businesses. There is absolutely no viable explanation for this other than greed. You hear about price gouging on the news...this is what price gouging looks like. Anybody who has ever sold their car to a junkyard knows they give you a few hundred dollars for the entire car. When an insurance company sells it to them it is the same thing.

tried to enter with my 16 year old but was denied, even though the website clearly says 16-17 must have a legal guardian. Once trying to explain the what the website states I was rudely shut down.

Low information and “don’t care” attitude. I wasted an hour and a half and $30 gas to grab parts off a car that was listed on their website only to discover that it had been removed that morning. I even called the day before to make sure they had it and was told they did. Maybe they could figure out more than 10 minutes into the future which cars are slated for removal.
Won’t recommend and won’t be back.Feb 19, 2024 -
Cheaper alternative to buying car parts if you can take them off a old car yourself . They will pull them for you but it costs more $2 to get in the junkyard to look
Be prepared to walk and walk and walk some more they have wheelbarrows you can use .Feb 14, 2024 -
I enjoy working on my own vehicles, so this place contributes to my personal interest. Depends on who's working on what prices you will pay. I have yet to figure out how they calculate their prices. They are vast in selection.
Although its slightly awkward when their staff is hiding throughout the isles watching what you are doing........
Other than that, I am comfortable at this buisness pulling my own parts.Dec 05, 2023 -
Getting a part was easy. Returning it when it failed was not. The clerk refused to honor the warranty, and would only offer to replace it, although they didn't have a working replacement in stock. It's a cool place, but I don't recommend paying for the disappointing warranty.

The lot is easy to navigate compared to other parts yards I have gone to. Prices were excellent. Staff was polite and helpful. Will definitely be back next time I need parts.

First time here. They had the part I needed but I didn't have room between the vehicles to use the breaker bar I had. I needed a smaller one to get in between the cars due to a door hanging off the vehicle I was pulling from. I will have to go back with a smaller bar to get the part. 2 hour round trip. I like the business model but you might want to look into doing a few different lengths of pipe to let customers use if they need to break a too torqued bolt or nut(I use a piece of chain link fence pole at home). I would get with my insurance folks and see what I could provide on a waiver for customer service. 4 stars because I will have 4 hours of driving for the part due to not being able to use my breaker bar because of door issue.

There is no where in this world that offers you quality parts at unbelievable prices. Sometimes too good to be true. I have been a faithful customer since 2014 and I hope this place is around long enough even for my kids to benefit from their incredible deals and services. Just amazing!

I recently sold my vehicle to them for a fair price! I was definitely tired of breaking down at least once a month and working on it twice a week, so I'm pretty happy. What made it better and do much easier was the two young ladies that helped me via text and one phone call, Christine and Samantha I believe was the other young ladies name. They were just awesome and made it a lot easier letting ole blue go (my vehicle) Thanks again!

Had a great time. Felt like a kid in a candy store. The lady at the front desk was very helpful, and you can't beat the prices. Definitely will be going back for parts in the future.

The little girl at the entrance desk was absolutely the wrong person to engage with customers. No personality , rude and bad customer service. She wanted to charge me 2 bucks for me to walk into the complex to see if they had the part. I don’t mind paying if I knew they had the part and went in to take it off. Why pay a fee when they don’t even know if they have the part? I asked if someone could walk down there and check for me. No reply. I have a disability and any steps I can save is a plus. I was told it was policy for the entrance fee. That’s fine, but make sure you have the part. I offered to sign the waiver.... said it’s policy. They need to be more Accommodating with people with disabilities and certainly have a person at the entrance that has courtesy and manners. . What happened to good customer service. I won’t return and will contact BBB.
