Never been there. I occasionally haul scrap to the Winchester location. I heard they had a store of metal stuffs. I'd love to see pictures of the inventory in Buena Vista. Sounds cool!
Low prices paid for recycling and attendant forgot to get the second hopper ,BUT I caught it !!! It is what it is on prices ,NEXT time i'll call for prices ,at this time its .25 a lb for aluminum
whether it's dropping off metal from my house for recycling, or enjoying a walk through the "Used to New" store it's always a great experience. I have always felt I have been treated fairly on pricing with both sides of the business, and we have found some really fun treasures in the store.
The recycling center looks like a dump. It's disgusting, disorganized, and makes absolutely no sense. There's even graffiti on one of the bins. Everything is mixed together and looks like trash. This place is useless and needs to be cleaned up. Have a person watch it and regulate it like they do in Glasgow and Lexington. Those are the only recycling centers I will ever go to because this place is disgusting! Leave it to Buena Vista to have something like this though...It's an example of everything people hate about BV. The town that no one wants to go to...and believe me, there are too many reasons to count.
