• INSANE SMOKER

  Bought a alternator and when got couple miles up the road we twisted the pulley and it wouldn't spin at first then broker free and made an awful grinding sound. They suppose to spin freely. The mechanic that pulled it off had mullet young and obviously no idea about how equipment worked. They first said we should have bought a warranty for 80$ alternator that was obviously bearings was worn out or bout to lock up. Not my fault I sold something no working at all for almost 100$. Sad they try to rip off a 68 year old man. Got his money back after had to actually tell them common mechanical knowledge about the alternator. They definitely tried to pull one on a older person that they think didn't know how mechanics should work

  We got lost 2x trying to find this place before they closed. Got there a little past the time that they closed by they were waiting for us. We had been in contact with them of course while hunting where they were. Even my GPS had me going back into Buena Vista past 18th Street! When I turned around for the 3rd time my GPS took me right to it. They stayed open long enough to process us through and pay up our money. Thank u so much for that! We were really in a bind and it being right before Christmas I was really depressed. Their kindness help restore my faith in humanity again.

  New to the area and found southern auto salvage on Google have to say awesome group of people I showed up about 30 minutes before closing time and not once was I rushed they were helpful and hands down great people to deal with and I plan to continue doing business there and would recommend this salvage yard without a doubt
