The employees are very nice but customer service could be better. 3 people were working in the store, but only one person was at the register. I was never recognized standing in line while they passed by me several times.

Seams as if you pay twice as much if not three times as much for the same parts online. And ive received the wrong parts more times than i received the correct ones which means multiple trips to the same place.

After swapping out the battery myself along with help from my partner this morning, I had to revise this review. It took longer than I had originally anticipated. However, watching a YouTube video about it really helped! Yesterday I was somewhat disappointed that no one at Advance Auto Parts could help swap out my 2009 Prius battery in Dillwyn VA. They said their computer monitor showed it requires professional installation. When I returned to my office, my business partner showed me a short YouTube video that provided a fairly easy and straightforward demo of how to swap out the battery. I would venture to say that swapping out this battery definitely would require significantly less practical knowledge than a trained mechanic.

Harley was an amazing help replacing my battery. The terminals were totally glued to the battery and they took their time freeing them to replace the battery. I highly recommend their services!

This place is wonderful they always help me with any questions I have about my truck & help me pick up wind shield wipers, oil, brake fluid... alternator, shocks.. etc you name it!

The men in the store was very knowledgeable and friendly. One man installed my battery and explained different parts of the car to me. I had went in there before and a guy named Anthony helped me with the drive belt and explained things about the engine. I would go again.

They got what you need.trying to actually buy it is the problem. Every employee there seems as if they've been trained to make answering the phone their top priority and the cash register is at the bottom...I watched a guy abandon his register with five people waiting to check out to go read a code. All I could do was shake my head and thank God I was in another line this time.

Return policy is awful, noisy brakes and electric parts are faulty, and store manager is extremely rude. Caught her quoting different prices on a part, she did give a "discount" after confronted. Know two separate cases (not mine) of them taking back a part and was supposed to be ordering the right part, in which they didn't and customer has no part and no refund, with credit card statements being ignored.

I won't say this is the worst Advance Auto in the country but it's the worst I've been to. I don't say this lightly and have visited this store often throughout the years. Recent update 2/19. This store has seriously improved! Fast service and parts person asked me to open all boxes to make sure parts were correct and undamaged! I'll be back! Very well done Advance, well done indeed.

Went looking for a fuse they did not have. The bald guy behind the counter (perhaps to impress his much younger female co-workers?) thought it was funny to give random yes or no answers to my questions. I did not think it was so funny. I'll be going to Fischer's in the future.

I broke down and had my truck towed to this location. Belt issue. Called ahead of time and spoke with Clarence. They had my belt. Got there bought the belt and they met me use their belt tensioner tool! Even gave me specific instructions on how to use it. They helped with holding the belt on as I used the tensioner tool to slip the belt on. Guess what! The tensioner was bad. I was so disappointed surely it was gonna be 3 days to get the tensioner for my 94 Mazda Navajo. NOPE! Clarence had one in stock! Holy cow!! Even let me use their tools to replace the tensioner. I have nothing but great things to say about these folks! Dillwin is lucky to have such helpful courteous amazing people here at Advanced Auto. I've never been this happy after working on one of my cars (and I have 5) definitely an amazing team here in Dillwin!!

Terrible service! I asked for a T25 socket and the person behind the counter looked at me like I was crazy. Very unsatisfactory service.

Always get great service at this store. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that sometimes they are out of oil or supplies I need but they will order for me.

Good people working there but the corporate return policy is a joke. I will gladly spend a few extra bucks and go to NAPA to get better quality parts and a return policy that they will stand behind
