Tow truck driver was driving close to my bumper in Smithfield VA a few minutes ago, 7/10/25, despite my baby on board sticker & caution signals. Apparently, picking up a vehicle is more important than a child's safety.
Response 7/14/25: I called the number online when I got home, but the lady who answered hung up on me.
We contacted them for a tow because it broke down and wouldn't start. Great timing but left at the wrong house. Dispite us showing him what our house looks like (very distinct colors) Refused to fix the issue. Had to push with another vehicle to get it to our house. Very disappointing.
We had battery issues & Skimino was there within 10 minutes to jumpstart our car & get us on the road again! The driver was very personable & didn’t make me feel dumb for knowing absolutely nothing about cars. Highly recommended!
We are so grateful to Russell, our Christmas Angel. We were stranded 120 miles from home late on Christmas Eve standing on the side of I-64. All of the repair shops were closed for two days and we didn’t know how we would get home. Russel knew how we could get home. He was polite, professional, and we enjoyed the ride with him. 100% recommend him if anyone needs help in that area.

Great service!! I had an unfortunate mechanical issue that required a long tow (170 miles) home. The tow showed up promptly and Russell was very courteous and professional during the process. Even though it wasn’t a fun/good circumstance with the mechanical failure and having the tow home I enjoyed the ride with Russell!
My experience was very frustrating. My car broke down while traveling in Williamsburg Va. area. When the driver arrived my car had shut off and my gear shift was stuck in the neutral position. My son picked me up and we left before the driver put my car on the rollback. My car was towed to a car dealership in the same area. They called me after looking at my car and said that the gear shift box was totally dismantled. The only way that would’ve happened was that the tow truck driver must’ve torn it apart and broke it instead of popping off the gear shift release button and using a screwdriver to put it park. This shouldn’t have needed done since it was already in neutral. He should’ve been able to pull it onto the rollback to haul it to the local Hyundai dealer without having to do anything.
The Hyundai dealership was baffled by the fact that he had torn it apart. I’m now having to replace, at my expense,the entire gear shift assembly when it wasn’t the reason that the car broke down in the first place.
Skimino, has not been able to be reached by phone and will not return my phone calls.
On a positive note, the driver showed up in a timely manner.
Russell called me before he got to me and he confirmed where I was located but he also allowed me to talk and he listen and conversed with me help keep me calm so I didn’t panic. He was quick to arrive and everything went so smoothly. I greatly appreciate how professional and personable he was. I highly recommend Russell at Skimino Enterprises. I was stuck on the side of interstate and He turned an awful dangerous situation into a not so horrifying experience.
My wait time was only about 35 minutes vs. the 45-70 minute estimate; my vehicle was loaded and transported quickly and the service tech was very polite and professional.

Chase was my driver today and i have to say i have lived in williamsburg 3 years and hace not encountered such gpos service. Had to have my car towed by AAA from dolphin, Virginia to Williamsburg and chase had just happened to take a car from Newport. News to petersburg, so it worked out perfect. He was an all arpind great guy knows his craft and wad a true professional. I will use this company again even if im paying out of pocket....great service and a great driver.....

I’ve unfortunately had a lot of tows from road side assistance and this was by far the best one. Quoted time was 40 minutes, he was there in 5. Did a great job loading, and even recommended shops for me. When we got to the shop, they couldn’t work on it for a month, so he recommended two other places around the corner and drove it to one of them instead. I also had my daughter with me and he was super nice to her. 10/10 recommend.
We were 50 miles from home with 3 kids. The driver was patient as we got everything together. He was prompt and kind, and willing to move things around in the truck to fit two of us. We appreciate the flexibility!

Top notch service! They arrived super quickly to tow my car - my insurance company estimated 40-70 min wait, but they arrived within 20 mins. The driver was friendly and very careful loading and unloading my car. Would definitely recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future!

Hit a piece of
truck tire on the interstate which tore into and mangled protective metal covering on underside of auto. Skimino provided prompt and professional service. Their driver Russell was very courteous and helpful. It was by far the best towing experience we have ever had!

I called to have my car towed to a mechanic for some work, they were very quick to gather the information they needed and initially told me it'd be about a half hour before they could get to me (understandable) but were there much closer. Had my car hitched up and on the way in no time.

Needed to have my car towed from house to service center recently due to dead battery and fuse. Everyone I dealt with at Skimino was extremely courteous and helpful! The owner took my call and had someone out within 20 minutes. Technician (Russell) was awesome- he tried to get my car started before moving ahead with towing (in the event my battery just needed a jump-start). Very kind, patient and honest employees. Russell was professional, friendly and courteous, and knowledgeable. In a few short minutes, he had my car up onto his flatbed with no damage to the car. He even used boards to ensure that the low front profile of my car didn't scrape the ground as he brought the car up the ramp.
