Took my civic type r on a trip from LA to DC and stopped by Reinharts since my car threw 5 codes and I had concerns on the car. They were very honest and advised me against some maintenance I could wait on since it was in good shape after an inspection. I ended up doing some basic maintenance but will be coming back for sure when I need anything else done.
Dodged a Bullet (and a Lemon)!
So, we were all set to buy this car, practically smelled the new car smell (or at least, the slightly-used car smell). But then we were wise enough to get a pre-purchase inspection from Reinharts Garage. Let me tell you, those guys are like automotive detectives! They uncovered a whole slew of hidden issues – things we wouldn't have even known to look for. Turns out, our 'dream car' was more like a 'nightmare on wheels.'
Thanks to Reinharts, we dodged a serious bullet (and possibly a very expensive lemon). They saved us from a major headache and potentially thousands of dollars in repairs. Now we're on the hunt for a car that actually deserves our love, not just our mechanic's pity.

Expert. Honest. Responsive and timely. I have a 2006 Volvo S40. Victor, the owner / lead mechanic helps me prioritize which repairs to do based on my priorities and gives me an estimate of when which ‘good to dos’ will become ‘must dos.’ He calls when done and gives good estimates of when my car will be ready. He has a small team so no intermediary, which I love. My next door neighbor has an old Saab, highly recommended Victor and Reinhart’s Garage, and I am delighted, relieved to have a great mechanic, and very appreciative. Go!

Great folks. Ernie has cared for my cars for years, and has a Ph.D from MIT in chemistry. He can find creative solutions for old cars with unavailable parts, and also can diagnose modern cars with complicated computer problems.
