Mechanics in other gas stations help customers who purchases gas, if they need some air in their tires
But this place they were impolite and rude however the cashier helped me
I simply needed an inspection and asked if I could get help putting my plates on because they’re new. He raised his voice and said “honey, that’s the mechanics job and they’re not here.” Proceeded to tell me the wait would be until 4-5 and it was 10 am, which I understood and was willing to wait because I didn’t have a ride back home. And he said “you’re gonna wait here?” Simply put, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you need an inspection or help with anything, the guy will just be super rude and mean. He acted like I asked for the krabby patty formula. -10/10 don’t recommend and I hate writing bad reviews, which I rarely do because I always try and give people grace because you never know what they are going through but this place deserves the bad review.
I continue to return to this location for all of my vehicle’s needs. I recently took advantage of their offering for a car detailing, which I am unsurprisingly very satisfied with. I will continue to have all of my general maintenance taken care of here.
Great people, I went to get my state inspection and accidentally requested an emissions inspection not realizing I didn't have mine due. They were honest with me that I didn't need that done and only charged for the state inspection. Would recommend
I've come here three years in a row for inspections and they are affordable and fair! Their communication isn't the best though- they said they'd have my car finished by the end of the day and the shop said it closed at 3pm and my car wasn't ready until 6:45pm which was a little frustrating to have to wait that long.
I’ve been here before for oil changes and recently took my car in when something was wrong with my tire. They let me come in an hour before closing and patched it up for cheap! Small but great auto shop
I can't say enough good things about the fine folks at Arlington Auto Clinic. I brought my car in for a state inspection on a snowy Sunday recently and the mechanic was about to leave for the day. However, he decided to stay to inspect my car before going home. It meant allot and Arlington Auto Clinic goes above and beyond for their customers. I would not hesitate to return for future work.
The best place for inspections/emissions & car repairs. Had an issue with an alternator and was fixed by Alex & Toney in a matter of hours. I can blindly trust their work. Its been 6-7 years i take my car there and they did their great job. Always recommend

Timeliness, customer service, communication, and quality were all awful. I know it can be a pain finding a place in Arlington for inspections, but save yourself grief (plus time and money) and look elsewhere.
I trust Arlington auto clinic because I’ve had multiple cars in for repair there and they’ve always been straight shooters with estimates and have always done good repair work in a timely manner at a fair price. These days it’s hard to find a trustworthy mechanic so I’m grateful for AAC and Alex.
Appreciate the work they did on our Jetta - price-wise, they were very reasonable, and friendly. Hamzah made sure to check up on us a couple times to make sure the car was running smoothly. Will definitely be going back if we need more repair work, thanks!
Editing this to add on that we took another car to arlington auto clinic and they were able to replace the fuel line that broke within a day. Really appreciate the quality and speedy work!
The team at Arlington Auto Clinic has done a few repairs for me, prices are reasonable and the team is very helpful. They took the time to explain my repair to me, and even followed up several times via text to check in on how everything went.
I have been using Arlington Auto Clinic for all of my routine and non-routine car service for years. They do a great job, keep me informed throughout the entire process and follow up with me to ensure I am happy with the work preformed. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they are able to consistently fix my car and have it ready the same day. It's nice to have an auto shop that is friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy and dependable.
Honest auto shop. These guys have been servicing my car for 10 years. I had a car issue when I first moved here, and their quotes were 20-25% of others in the area. I went in to get my brakes replaced once, and they advised me to come back in forgot-how-many miles because they had plenty of life in them. Most recently, they found a remanufactured replacement starter that saved me $$$$. They are busy, think because they are honest and good.
Even after I moved from Arlington to Warrenton I bring my car to this shop when I’m in the area and need service. Everyone that works here is so nice, and answer any questions I have (which is a lot because I know embarrassingly little about cars). They are trustworthy and reliable and really care about the quality of their work.
Hamzah and his team are so incredibly kind. They are honest, thorough with the work, and check in every few months to make sure my car is running smoothly. I recently moved out of the DMV area and took my car in before my cross country road trip. They not only performed all of the necessary services to make for a safe journey, but also found an issue with my engine that was a crucial fix prior to my road trip. I will greatly miss their friendly service and would recommend Arlington Auto Clinic to anyone in the DMV!
Had a great experience here! Costs were significantly lower than what I was quoted by the dealership (less than half), and they were able to repair my axle in a few hours. Will be returning for any future car repair needs.
Arlington Auto Clinic was able to fix the condensation in my car and provide maintenance all in one visit! They were able to provide updates in a timely manner, as well as getting my car back to me same day. All great things, and the costs were affordable! I will 100% be returning!
I’m lucky that I live near Arlington Auto and can drop off my car and walk home. I’ve used them for inspections, oil changes, and repairs on my 2013 SUV. The staff is consistently timely, honest, and communicative. After being taken to the bank my the dealership’s for years, I’m grateful to have found this place.
Arlington Auto Clinic is amazing. For years I have trusted them with different cars for various reasons. They are very attentive and have affordable prices. They’ve always fixed my car within the same day and followed up with me to make sure I’m happy with their work. I couldn’t ask for better service and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
Did a great job! The dealership told me it would cost them $750 to replace my brake pads and rotors - Arlington Auto Clinic was one of the few places that quoted me under $500 for the job and then did it for ~$430.
They managed to get it done in one day and were prompt about communicating with me. I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else from now on.
Arlington Auto Clinic is a wonderful shop. I had a flat tire and they ordered me a new one and fixed it within the same day. They also preformed an emission and safety inspection on the same day as well. It is a very quick, thorough, and good price auto clinic. I would definitely recommend to anyone who appreciates good service.
I had unexpected flat tire on Sat at 11’am while driving on George Mason. Luckily I made it to their shop just hoping to make it before tire went completely flat. Within 5 minutes the owner came to my door, instructed someone to switch with my spare tire and ordered a replacement tire. The replacement tire arrived today as promised and they switched the new tire with spare and put spare back in my trunk. Great service, kind, and efficient. Very impressive. I will never forget.
Fantastic experience. For the first time since moving to the DMV area ten years ago, I’ve found a garage where I trust both the staff and quality. It feels like your favorite uncle runs the place, and I didn’t have to be on guard for scams and snake oil salesman. They have flexible hours for drop off and pickup— even accommodating my emergency tire pressure check at 7am for free. I ended up having four tires replaced at what I thought was reasonable cost and within the day. Highly recommend so far.
Very knowledgeable, well-training, professional, and HONEST staff. All auto service and repair shops should be managed like this one! It would make motor vehicle ownership a whole lot more enjoyable.
All I needed on my first visit was a safety inspection, but I returned to Arlington Auto Clinic for a long list of maintenance and repair needs for my 30-year-old minivan.
Sam scheduled the service appointment, and then Alex and his crew went to work on the brakes, exhaust, and air conditioning systems. When I picked it up, the van ran like new!
This place is so awesome that I felt inclined to write a second review. Exactly a year later I am due for VA safety car inspection again. Today was my only day off and I came in late morning, however there were no parking spots even left for drop off service as they are so busy (try to come first thing in the AM). Without asking what my profession or personal situation is...just going by me mentioning that today was my only day/time off all week and weekend: the owner, Sam, fit me in and put me immediately as priority for my service. He felt bad that I had offered to wait for 4+ hours. Last time a year ago I had a great experience with the owner’s son as well.
Amazingly honest people all around. Efficient, extremely caring, and performs excellent service with the fairest prices I know in the Arlington area. As I’m finishing up writing this review my car is ready.

Very positive experience here. I came in first thing in the morning to get an oil change, state inspection, and emissions test. I was able to get some work done while I waited (it’s a little odd sitting in the middle of the shop while you wait, but the chairs are comfortable and it’s pretty quiet) and the owner was very kind and chatted with me for a bit, too. Pricing was very reasonable and I was on the road by 9:30am. The only thing I wish is that it was more clear that the repair team & inspector doesn’t show up until around 8:30am (even though the shop opens around 7am). All told, I’ll definitely be back next time I need anything done on my car!
I chose this location based on the high reviews to start the fun process of obtaining new Virginia license plates, and was not disappointed! Arrived late Saturday morning for safety & emissions testing. Food, shops, various salons across the street made for an easy wait - or wait inside for a reasonable time. Despite being busy on the weekend, they are upbeat and made my visit stress free -- trustworthy people, efficient, and great value for exceptional service. I will definitely be returning for any car service needs!
