We made an appointment for my daughter to have new snow tires installed on her car. While the work was being performed, the guy in the office came out to tell me that the lug nuts were in bad shape and that whoever worked on the tires in the past was pretty rough. He recommended a new set of lug nuts which would run around $90. I said to go ahead.
When we went to the window to pay, the bill was just under $1000. I’m sure that my jaw dropped. The tires and mounting service should have come to around $800. The lug nuts added almost another $100, and I couldn’t exactly figure out the labor charges. The counter guy said that they don’t often have to change out lug nuts, but every once in a great while they see that issue. So we paid and left.
The following day, my wife was speaking to the person that recommended that shop. She mentioned how shocked she was to pay $1000 when she picked up her car with new snow tires (the same day that we were there). The kicker is she said that she never expected to need all new lug nuts!
Hmmm… something smells a little rotten there. The work was fine, but I feel taken advantage of and obviously will never go back there.
Since 2023, Waweco has been servicing my vehicle on everything from vehicle inspection and oil change to replacing my engine. I have not had major any complaints and I appreciate their honesty and customer service.

I had to stop here unexpectedly because a huge nail had punctured one of my tires. They were beyond welcoming & got my vehicle in for repair on the spot! It was very inexpensive, even without an appointment & they had me back on the Rd in no time. I also asked some maintenance questions & they answered them politely & didn't make me feel dumb as they educated me. I will absolutely be going back for regular service maintenance & repairs.
I find Waweco to be trusty, straightforward, and reliable. I'm so glad to have found them a year ago, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone for auto repairs.

Waweco is probably in my opinion one of the best garages in the upper valley, always friendly and very informative when speaking to them on the phone. Not only was the Quality of the work 5 stars but they got it done so much faster than I anticipated. Had been a while since I've been there but will be returning with all my further work when necessary. 100% would advise and as stated above will be returning.
I bought my car here three years ago. They were very nice and helpful. Any time I have called to get any work done they have always been very helpful on getting me in around my schedule and in a timely manner. When talking to the service department I never feel talked down to as a woman as most garages. I highly recommend Waweco if you are purchasing a vehicle or just having work done.

WAWECO Inc. is a business that really cares about people as well as being effective and efficient. My muffler fell off in the parking lot of the school I teach at. At 8:00, I called WAWECO and asked what they could do. They gave me advice on what to do and set an appointment for 3:45 for me that day. At the end of the school day, I visiting the shop teacher who removed my muffler, and I went directly to WAWECO and they installed a new muffler that day! Amazing! This is not the first time they have helped me. One morning before school, something went wrong with my car again. I called early and they got me in. I was able to get to school by 11:00. WAWECO is dependable and I would recommend it for anyone who needs car repairs!
These sold my mom a lemon. They sold her a car that they knew had a lot of problems. She had it 3 weeks and it needed a brand new transmission. Less then a year she needs a new head gasket a new radiator the brakes are bad and the fluids in the new transmission already needs service. My mom was so excited about buying her car. Her whole life she never financed a car. The first time she does this place took advantage of an old lady. They her a car she didn't even want. She wanted something bigger then her beetle they sell her a cruz that had 8 recalls that were never performed and the car only had like 68000 miles on it. Thie place doesn't deserve more then 1 star
Thanks to Luke we had a great time and walked away with a Subaru forester. Luke did everything in his power to get us where we needed to be. He was polite, and honest! He told us all the options!! A great sale and a wonderful end to a day for my son. Will definitely shop here again!

I had a really good experience with Waweco. I dropped my car off on a Thursday afternoon after work. They drove me over to White River to pick up my rental car (had to drive that night to New York). The next day I was late coming back from the city and couldn't get my car before they closed on Friday night. I called and they dropped my car off at Enterprise for me. I returned my rental to Enterprise and my personal vehicle was already on the lot waiting for me. They saved me a fortune (would have had to rented the Enterprise car until Monday night otherwise). Waweco treats you like family! Can't recommend them enough! :)
