I had run into a real problem, my vehicle decided to not start on one of the biggest storms of this winter. After looking online for a company that would install a battery for me if I purchased it from them, first 2 businesses I called said my particular vehicle was too much trouble so they would not install but gladly sell me a battery, (yeah ok) so I continued on to batteries plus, closest one to me was the Ascutney location. I called and spoke with Amanda Girard. Amanda was great right from the start, friendly on the phone, told me if I came over she would install it for me. So when I arrived she came out to access my 2019 Cadillac XT5, it was an absolute nightmare with everything that needed to be unhooked to get the new battery in, she brought such a great attitude and professionalism, told me up front she wasn’t sure she could do it, but she would try, well after a bunch of hiccups and 30 minutes of her time she had my new battery installed. It’s really nice to actually go to business that you need help from and get excellent customer service! I would highly recommend this establishment and want to tell her boss just how AWESOME she was and how lucky they are to have her there, she made me laugh the whole time she was fighting to get my issue resolved. I needed a replacement battery for a snowmobile but my regular Batteries Plus location (W. Lebanon, NH) didn’t show any stock for the part number I needed. The online lookup showed that the Ascutney, Vt store did have it. Unforntuntely, the inventory was wrong.
I was able to have the W. Lebanon store order (back order) my battery but I wasn’t able to use the 10% discount for an online order.
I’ve gone in twice and they were very helpful to me. I needed to find a light bulb to fit my microwave and they set me up. Then my phone wouldn’t charge and they cleaned the charging port for me and tested its battery.
This woman has been very helpful. She gave us lots of information and sent us in the right direction to fix our phone. She was honest and did not try to sell us something that we did not need. She is a peach and really knows her stuff!
We had problems with our RV batteries keeping charge and even lasting overnight when dry campjng. First, we did some research on our own, then stopped in at Batteries Plus, Ascutney to ask Amanda lots and lots of questions. She was very helpful, courteous, patient, had the answers that we needed.
We replaced our old batteries that were previously installed by a camper dealer with the correct size batteries - how amazing it is to be able to camp more than a day or two with no powere issues.

Awesome people who are very helpful and knowledgeable. They can help much better than any of the other big box stores. Give them a chance they won't disappoint you. Batteries for all sorts of rigs. We went for a phone but found stuff for motorcycles and snow blowers and tractors! Everything!
Quick service. Prices are a bit higher than other places but convenient location. All sorts of batteries from cellphone to boat batteries. Worth the stop.
Fast, friendly service, great prices. Picked up a motorcycle battery and they helped me find the right one, and took my old battery for me. Great experience.
