Very very good!!! They have WiFi and an excellent menu, they serve breakfast all day. We got the western omelette and the Scott bridge sandwich. They had tons of local wares and things from MC the community, really cute little spot to hit after skiing!

Very, very nice staff! We got stuck on the road because of the snow, and they shared their internet and were extremely friendly.

Grabbed breakfast burritos. They were delicious! Strangely unfriendly to perceived outsiders tho. I was definitely met with some standoffishness for no particular reason, just wanted some breakfast

Best breakfast sandwich in the valley! Possibly best breakfast sandwich in southern Vermont. They make them to order and they’re always absolutely 100% delicious thank you!

A friend and I had delicious breakfasts of generous portions of potatoes, bacon strips, sausage, and buttered toast here last Saturday and Sunday. I will definitely stop in for food at the West Townshend Country Store again next time I'm in Townshend. I appreciated the care that went into the preparation of our meals and that ingredients are locally sourced. My only suggestion is to add a couple of dollars to each meal on the menu. I thought the menue prices were amazingly low for what you get. I highly recommend this restaurant store. Thank you, LK

I am only reviewing the pizza, not the store itself. I was really excited to find out there was local wood fired pizza, being a pizza nut I had to try it out. I always love finding new pizza. My first recommendation, come early. If you get here any time after 6, the line is pretty long. Also, I had the unfortunate experience of having a pizza that was not quite cooked. I believe this happens because the oven was way overpacked (my first thought when I ordered). I know from previous experience, putting too many pizzas in a wood oven drastically reduces the temperature, and as such, increases the cooking time. As a a result, pizzas which should cook in less than 5 minutes are taking 20 while coming out completely white on the bottom. The dough is tasty, though the cold cheese and sauce combo on the tip of every moist flimsy pizza tip is not appetizing, almost enough to stop eating. The dough cooks rather unevenly, as the only source of warmth in the overcrowded oven is the embers themselves, meaning pizzas are cooking from the edges only. I really hope someone sees this, and can cook just a few less pizzas at a time, which will make all the pizzas cook faster, and more evenly. Overall, really nice environment, friendly folks, reasonbly priced beer on tap. This is a really busy spot, so a long wait is understood, though I hope next time I visit I show up when they start so the pizza is cooked thoroughly.

We were driving through the area when we realized we needed dinner so we stopped here. They had one thing on the menu, bacon cheeseburgers w/ roasted potatoes, which we took to go. It's small space and they focus on local producers, so I understand having a limited menu that changes daily. They also had a nice selection of packaged items to purchase. We had to reheat the meals by the time we stopped, but they were still delicious! A cozy café and a great way to showcase the local agriculture.

This is an absolutely amazing little store with fresh baked breads, cookies, brownies, sandwiches, pretty much anything you could need. They also have local eggs and produce available and stuff from local farms around the area. My favorite thing about this store? Their business model!! They never turn away a hungry person who can't afford to pay for their meal and they also run a thrift shop upstairs and provide free clothing to those who need it. If you're in the area make sure you stop by and check out all the things that Southern Vermont has to offer!

We loved stopping here for lunch. The menu was more simple than the one posted on google but it still has some nice options. We got a chicken sandwich, a grilled PB&J, some sauerkraut, and homemade kombucha. Everything was so yummy (how can a simple chicken sandwhich be so good?) and we loved chatting with the woman making the food. There were a few tables inside but plenty of room outside so we enjoyed our food at picnic tables in the sun. Fridays and Saturdays they have wood fire pizza!

Their pizza, available on Friday evenings, is spectacular. It's cooked in an outdoor pizza oven and it's one of our favorites. They have an outdoor bar and live music. We try to go whenever we're in town.

Hard to tell from the simple menu and minimal items in the case but we had a fantastic, customized locavore feast with hot food from the grill starring local ingredients. Everything was delicious. This shop is also a hub for locals and we happened upon an outdoor market one day and a banjo jam session the next. Lovely spot.

Awesome little spot you'd never think would offer such phenomenal food! It was quite literally the best reuben my husband or myself have ever had. We just happened to stop in looking for a restroom, and were so pleasantly surprised. They offer all kinds of cool local goods also; honey, maple syrup, meats, cheeses, eggs, soaps, candles, beer. The girl that worked there was very friendly also.

Should probably just stick to selling pre made/bottled juice. It was the only thing enjoyable about this place. Food was horrible. Don't even want to give any stars but unfortunately I'm forced to at least give one star. SAVE YOUR MONEY DONT EAT HERE.
