I'm new to the area and definitely rural enough that a car was a necessity. After hitting a couple of moving snags, I was worried about how I was going to be able to get somewhere to purchase a car, and worried that I might not get into a good one. I found Past and Present Motorcar online and spoke to John over the phone and he went absolutely above and beyond to get me into my car. The price was more than fair, John was super knowledgeable, friendly, personable and helpful. I have peace of mind that I'm in a good, reliable car acquired from a person who actually cares about his customers. John walked me through the whole process and made sure I was comfortable. I don't expect I'll need another car for a very long time, but when I do - I'll definitely be coming back here.
I had been searching for a rare 1st gen Tacoma that had reasonable milage and not a lot of rust. I noticed they had one when driving up Rt 100. A few days later I stopped in. I met with Scott. He was awesome. He knew all the details of this particular model and let me take it out for a test drive. The purchase experience was excellent. Zero pressure, fair price. I hope to drive this vehicle for a long time. But, as others have said, I'll definitely go back when I'm in the market for a used car.
Always keep a keen eye on their vast and always changing inventory, the over the top service makes buying a car easy. Just bought a new to me car from John at Past and Present. I had a miserable experience trying to buy a similar vehicle from a dealership in Burlington.
