We had a very stressful situation when our vehicle went off the road in the snow, and Killington Auto came through for us. They responded quickly, arrived prepared, and handled everything professionally and safely.
The operator was experienced, calm, and knew exactly what to do to move the vehicle without causing any additional damage.
We truly appreciate the prompt service and professionalism. Highly recommend Killington Auto if you ever need roadside assistance in the area.Feb 25, 2026 -
Last week my family and I were up in Killington skiing. As I was dropping my family off at the Ramshed Lodge, my son locked the doors of the car with the keys inside (no one was inside the car). I tried opening the car through the app with no luck. I called OnStar and they said that they were having trouble with their system and couldn't open the car either. So, I called a few places and the only place that gave me a call back was Killington Auto. It was right after a big snow storm so they said that they were busy but would try their best to get someone out to me ASAP. Within 45 minutes they showed up and got my car unlocked.
The office staff and tow truck drivers were incredibly kind and helpful and I truly appreciate their help. Great Service!Feb 05, 2026 -
Corey was awesome. He was kind and considerate when my car had power steering issues last night. I was so stressed but his demeanor was calming. He helped me out in a huge way for which I am so grateful. Highly recommend Killington. Thank you, Corey!

Cory from Killington Auto was the absolute best! The bike battery died and he was able to give us a jump, and waited to make sure it didn't die again. He then towed us back into town! Some of the best service ever! Highly recommend!

I tried to foolishly drive a car that was having issues to my sons' game...and the vehicle did not make it. I called AAA and Killington Auto Repair and Towing responded. Kyle was very professional and kind. He loaded my vehicle while all along answering my many questions. When my vehicle was unloaded and he was driving away, I knew I wanted to leave him a positive comment because what could have been a really bad day, wasn't...thanks, Kyle! Best of luck!

Excellent service! They came quickly and towed my car out of a precarious situation on a steep hill of sheer ice. Very nice men and obviously very skilled and experienced.

Sheila & Dana were phenomenal. My car broke down in Kilington on a ski trip. They fixed my car while I was skiing. My car rides like it is brand new. I would highly recommend them for any car repair. They deserve more than a 5⭐ review if it was possible. Thank you guys so much!!!!!

Always friendly- they do not offer home heating glycol recycling- rcsw does- homeowners can get a permit and dispose of much cheaper than contractors.

THEY CHEATED ME! I called them because I thought my son's car probably needed a new starter motor and he was close by. Phone conversation gave me an ok feel so I made an appt. and had him bring it over. I thought it was unusual when I called to ask what they had found and was told the owner was out but that they had ordered the starter. I have never dealt with a repair shop that did not call to tell me what was wrong and how much the charge was going to be. The next day I called and was told it was done and the cost was $659.86. Seemed a bit steep since the cost of the starter on most auto parts websites was, at worst, $389. What has earned them this review is the fact that I was given a price over the phone of $659 and when I checked my credit card statement I found that I was billed $684.87. I called to ask what the extra $24.21 was for and the owners wife told me they had a 3% credit card fee. I complained that I had never been informed of this and never called to approve the work before it was performed. She said, "oh, sorry they didn't tell you." To start with, $24.21 is NOT 3%, it's 3.8%. If you are going to charge that you better be telling customers that BEFORE you perform the work and charge their credit card. For that they would get ZERO STARS! if I could give it.
Lame reply. The 16 year old never dealt with them in any capacity other than to drop the keys and pick them up. I paid the bill, I made the calls. They had every opportunity to tell me about the credit card fee and they didn't. Drive to Rutland and find another garage.Feb 25, 2023 -
This place is the worst. They only have one guy, and takes a week to do what a normal mechanic does in a half day. He doesn't know what he's doing. Change your name to Killington Towing and stop working on vehicles!

Don’t do it, you’ll be sorry. With their 4 days of unsuccessful repairs, 3 nights at a hotel, and a tow back home this cost me thousands. Meanwhile my mechanic fixed it in a half hour for 50 dollars. It was a sensor! Don’t fall into the same Hillbilly trap that I did! Have it towed somewhere else!

My check engine light went on as I was on my way up the mountain - I stopped at Killington Auto - they generously helped me even though it was close to their closing time. They were through and went above and beyond to fix what was was wrong and send me on my way safely - highly recommend!

My 2013 Jeep Wrangler wouldn’t start so I called Killington Auto. Mitch came out right away to check it out and towed it after determining the starter needed to be replaced. He got the parts right away and my car was ready the next day. Mitch also gave me advice on replacing my tires. Mitch is a great guy - fair and honest. To my NY-area friends, have some patience with getting updates about your car. Mitch is on call 24/7 and prioritizes fixing your vehicle over giving updates to you every hour Be cool and kind - and know your car is in great hands.

I went in today to check my engine code. It was a monday afternoon without notice and Charlie was wonderful. He was very patient and helped me get to the bottom of the issue & back on the road within four hours of getting parts and installing them. Highly recommend this place in a pinch!

Such a great place if you need service. I got in and out within 20 mins for an oil change, and had some friendly convos with Mitch. Also, look out for the CUTEST black lab in Vermont - his name is Tucker!

Friendly, amazing staff. I got a flat tire on my way back from hiking. I requested a road service via insurance company, but no one was coming after an hour. I ended up calling Killington Auto; staff here was very accommodating; they came quickly to tow my car and installed a new tire the next day. Highly recommend! genuine, nice people!

I brought my Jeep to killington auto after in stalled. The staff is friendly and helpful! They ran diagnostics on the car and went through each code with me. They gave me options of what I could do to fix the issue with my car including going to the jeep dealership. Because it was an issue they could solve, I decided to not to go to the dealership. My car was returned after they worked on it (about 2 days) working better than normal, without the usual "skip" I felt when shifting. The price they charged was also extremely reasonable.

they towed my tiny house and stored it in their lot for 5 days , $500 storage and tow fee,,,, and when i picked it up they had stolen all my tools my generator and my chainsaw and my entire house was trashed ,, and when i asked for them to review the cameras the kindly made it known that they didnt point to where they stored the vehicle ,, im 100 percent convinced that it was an inside job ,, karma will prevail

I arrived in Killington on a Sunday morning and discovered I had a radiator issue. The closest and only place open was Killington Auto Repair, so I called to confirm whether they could help me. Sheila, who answered the phone right away, was very helpful, and told me they were open for emergency repairs and towing, but a mechanic (Mitch) was heading in for another emergency repair and could meet me at the shop if I could make it there or they could send a truck for me if I couldn't. Mitch was great -- found the issue, fixed it efficiently with a creative bypass solution, explained and showed me everything he was doing along the way, and charged me a fair price. And he made me laugh! Way to make what could have been a miserable situation a fun experience!

I was visiting Vermont and ran into some car trouble. I chose Killington because of its proximity to my rental. I had never taken my car to a mechanic for a repair, and as you can imagine, was very fearful of getting taken advantage of. I called ahead to ensure they could make the repair that was needed, and Mitch cheerfully answered my questions. I was immediately relieved by his kindness. I took the car in and it was all fixed up in just 4 hours. When we went over the charges, Mitch was completely transparent, explaining the breakdown of items and information about an included warranty. The entire experience was absolutely painless! 5/5 recommend

These guys were great. Towed my car after the E brake froze up. They came back to pick us up and then drop us off at the base of the mountain so we didn't lose time on the slopes or have it ruin our day! They even dropped the car back off to us when it was done. Price was good.

I dropped off my Element before heading up to Killington to get my "winter shoes" installed, and it was ready as expected before I had to head home. Two of my take-off tires had the green slime stuff in them, so the folks at Killington Auto went above and beyond by cleaning out much of it, bagging all of my old tires, and leaving them outside so as not to get the slime all over my car. I brought extra trash bags, threw the clean and bagged old tires in the extra bags, in my car, and not a drop of slime anywhere. Awesome job!

I drove a few hours up to Killington to start a family holiday in an aged minivan, and as soon as I went up the access road the car became loud and there was a dragging sound - the muffler on the ground. We took it to Killington Auto and the very nice people there fixed it the same day. I highly recommend their services.

Was staying at the resort, had an issue that would have made driving home dangerous. Matt happened to be there (the garage wasn't technically open) and he fixed not only the issue we needed fixed but a second one he noticed when I pulled in. He talked us through what was wrong, what he was doing, and why he was doing it. In and out in <30 minutes with 2 fixes and more knowledge of my car. Excellent people and excellent service.

Just a bunch of crooks that want your money. They charged me $900 for "storage" when I got my car towed there. They didn't even start looking at it for 2 weeks! Even after I called and called them. I'd pay to get your car towed to another place if you like your money.

I got in a bit of a situation where my wife and I were planning to go skiing at pico and when we got there our engine started bellowing white smoke. I opened the hood and saw my thermostat was spraying antifreeze. I got it to killington auto and the fixed that day and gave me a really great price!
